I came here today for my first Brazilian ever! A friend stopped me from going to another popular spot in the area due to the sheer amount of horror stories, and recommended Ten Spot instead.

Nadine was the lovely lady who performed my wax and was she ever wonderful! I don't think I've ever had an experience while out and about, where I was bare from the waist down and somehow so comfortable/unaware of it. She was so professional and genuinely sweet, and made what would have been a very uncomfortable experience actually fun and memorable. The wax itself was a bit unpleasant at worst, but the pain was very manageable. Nadine was very thorough and gentle with it though, and talked me through it step by step, and we had some good laughs which was a fantastic distraction.

I enjoy their nail services a lot but others that I have tried I do not feel as confident about such as brows and other services. Not outstanding but not bad. Always pleasant company.

My first time getting my brows done ever was a great experience! Staff were all pretty friendly, they were able to help me book my appointment and were flexible with accommodating my sister as well. There was a slight issue with using my gift card online, but everything was sorted out nicely. I'm also very happy with the results! Totally going back to be pampered some more.

I have always done my own manicures but I am happy I used this salon as my first ever professional mani experience.

I’ve been seeing Ana now for the past 4 years, she has amazing attention to detail, welcoming and the best pain free Brazilian wax I have ever had! I recommend ana if your want a painless, great experience at the ten spot Yonge and eglinton location!

Edit: changing to 1 star because they cancelled my appointment without any option to re-book the same day. I was really looking forward to having my nails done again this weekend. Now I have to wait for next weekend again. Low-key ruined my day

My nails were done so well and gently. The place is clean.

Normally, my daughter and I enjoy visiting this location and have for some time. Today we left, after having waited some time for our appointments. It's one thing to wait, but quite another not to be acknowledged for doing so. Never have I seen a group of more uninterested staff, in one place. In no hurry at all. Felt quite happy to be late and say nothing. Very disappointing. We will think hard about ever returning.

The Ten Spot is clean and organized with a friendly atmosphere. Ruby was so nice and very detail oriented. I was really happy with the service. Thanks Ruby!

Came here for a manicure and it was a treat! It is a clean space and they provided a gentle, relaxing experience. Nails looked great.

I love this place. It’s full of amazing people who make our experiences pleasant and comfortable. The facials are such a nice treat and the waxing is quick and as painless as it can be. It is now my official beauty spot.

It was my first time coming to this location and hands down it was the best. I came in for a brazilly service but from the moment I walked in I was greeted by a nice young lady, she made me feel very welcomed. The waxing technician was very gentle throughout the service. 1000% recommend the tenspot!

It was great experience at there. Technician name was Charies. She did a good job service and made me feel to return back again. Also very clean place. I loved it.

I booked an appointment at the Yonge & Eglinton 10Spot location for a mani-pedi, and had a great experience. Staff were friendly, my nails turned out beautifully, and I felt very safe with all the safety measures being implemented at this store location. I'd also like to special mention Maddie, who helped to accommodate my appointment, even though I arrived 5mins late. Posting on behalf of my fiancé. The last two times she’s gone she’s come back with skin ripped under her eyebrow and now very badly between her eyebrows. Has been a burning sensation for two hours. They’re normally late and delayed with service as well and she won’t be going back.

Wouldn’t recommend based on the lack of professionalism and customer service. Plenty of other places in the area to choose from. Feel free to message me if you live midtown and need suggestions on where to go for your services because I wouldn’t waste your time here. That being said the Roncy location has fabulous staff this seems to be a location specific issue.

I recently had my eyebrows waxed, as I do every few weeks, at the Ten Spot Yonge & Eg. I was visiting from Montreal, and it was my first time having my brows waxed here. What was supposed to be a pleasant, stress-free process led to me leaving with what were essentially third-degree-looking burns covering the upper third of my face. While the employees were courteous and apologetic, refunding me for the cost of the waxing service, I would caution anyone thinking about having a waxing treatment done here. I have visited both Fuzz and WaxOn multiple times and have left with much better results (and with the top layer of my skin still in tact!).

On a brighter note, I also had my eyelashes tinted and lifted, which, although pricey, look great! Too bad no one will be able to see them as I shield myself under sunglasses for the foreseeable future.

Anna and Nadine were incredible. Easy online booking for the gel mani and regular pedi. The place was spotless, service and attention to detail was spot-on. This is going to be my go-to place! Sure, you can find cheaper places but they are nowhere near this quality (in my experience). You get what you pay for here and more! Thank you ladies!

I had my eyebrows threaded and plucked by Ruby, who I am so happy to see since the closing of the Danforth location. She's an absolute pro who I have nothing but trust in. Her attention to detail and gentle hands make the process as enjoyable as hair removal can be.

Came here with my mother and sister for manicures. Had a great experience. Wonderful staff and environment, love my manicure. Will be back.

My girlfriend had a Ten Spot pedicure at their Queen Street West store before Covid-19 shutdowns, and was thrilled. Now the stores are reopen and I had mine at The Ten Spot at the Eglinton Yonge location and it was fabulous. They get everything right. Thanks

Ruby is my favourite esthetician to go to for eyebrow threading! I have been going to her for a few years (at the now-closed Danforth location) and I’m glad that I can continue to go to her at the Yonge and Eglinton location.

I had Nadine do my pedicure, and she was very lovely. Great attention to detail, and she and the other staff members helped me pick out a colour for my nails. Felt like I was hanging out with my girlfriends. It’s a bit pricey (I got the shellac pedi), but it’s been a few weeks and I don’t have any chips so it was worth it.

I got a French manicure and am very happy with the results. The service was professional and friendly.

Always great service! Super friendly girls that know what they’re doing and the store is always impeccably clean. They also have a really great selection of hidden gem products by the cash.

Been hearing my homegirls talk about this place and how they had a beautiful experience, I decided to go in myself on Saturday for some much needed pampering for my feet and hands and I have to be sincere with you, my attendant called Tshika really did me good, patient with me and very attentive to details and how I wanted it, she's also a good listener.

Will definitely book with her again, she gets me.

I had a regular pedicure and two layers of gel on my nails. Within three days the gel was peeling off. Two weeks later my nails were a mess. I returned and showed one of the staff my issue. She apologized profusely. I asked to be reimbursed for the gel nails only and keep the tip.
She said she would contact her district manager, who refused to reimburse me and suggested I return and they would fix the problem. I said I do not want another experience in your salon, reimburse me, for the gel nails, not the pedicure. She refused and contacted her superiors who again refused I would suggest considering the amount that I paid, $144.00, there are many more professional salons in Toronto at probably half the price, that one should consider instead of The Ten Spot. Such a shame to run a business this way. Keep this in mind next time you are considering getting your nails done. For the record my name is Janice Creba, Toronto.

Good news is that the estheticians I had for my facial and lash tint/lift were nice. The current price for the lash lift and tint is reasonable and that's why i'm giving it 3 stars because it wasn't as bad as when I went in February this year. They've improved since then, as when I got my first brow wax from them I came out with swelling and a burn mark. They were friendly enough to give me a credit for the brow wax which I never used because I'm not as trusting after that experience. Then when I went for my facial I was double charged. Again, the esthetician was nice but it would've helped if I wasn't double charged for my appointment. If you're in need for a quick service they're great, super fast and the last minute availability saved me time. I'd recommend not coming here if you want to that luxury spa feeling, but it's a great place for fast and quick last minute beauty services.

Stephanie was an amazing nail tech who used gel on me. It was my first time getting a mani done, and I have to admit that I was not disappointed at all! It was a clean and neat polish. Long lasting wear as well! She was very polite, and social. I highly recommend booking with Stephanie! I certainly will be going to see her again!

I went in to get my feet done after the long lockdown. Let me just say this lady called Tshika outdid herself.
She was so gentle yet thorough with all that crust.
I was impressed at best.

Amazing service and a calm environment. I got the amazing opportunity of having my Mani-Pedi done by Stephanie. She was very friendly and was very understanding of requests. She did a fast, amazing job! I highly recommend having her do your nails! By far the best experience I've had and will be coming back again.

I love going to the Ten Spot to get my manicure and pedi done, I normally get my Gel pedicure/ Gel Manicure done by a lady named Tshika.she is amazing at what she does and very professional.i also love the fact that the place is clean and inviting.

Second time visiting the Yonge and Eglinton location and I had a very relaxing and positive experience. I had my gel manicure done this time they were super attentive. The place is kept very clean and professional. No wait at all they were ready for me as soon as I walked in.

Not only was I satisfied with the services rendered, but I also felt fabulous afterwards.

I was so happy to see that the Ten Spot finally opened again! The nail technician went above and beyond today. This salon’s cleanliness and service is always top notch but today it was even more clear that they take safety and hygiene very seriously. Everything was sanitized, from the door handles to the gel polish rings, to the seat, you name it. I also appreciated their pre-screening calI, which made me feel safe going in. I went in for a gel pedi. My feet really needed it, and I walked out a very happy customer. My toes look great! I will keep returning again and again as I have been for the past few years.

I have heard good things about the Ten Spot but my experience was not a positive one. I got a manicure and the nail file left little slices on most of my fingers that felt like little paper cuts and one of them was even bleeding a few hours later. I called them and the best they could offer was 10% off my next purchase. I was disappointed by the customer service received so I went in-store to discuss and they increased it to 20%, but tried to attribute part of the damage to "dry skin from excess use of hand sanitizer" which isn't true (my hands aren't dry at all!). Anyway, I normally don't complain but I was very disappointed with my experience at The Ten Spot and wouldn't recommend.

The person who did my waxing was very sweet and bubbly made me very comfortable, when she waxed it didn't hurt at all felt like tape going across she was very professional and fast!

It was a lovely atmosphere both times I have visited this location. I waited only a few minutes before my service on my most recent visit in mid-Feb and the woman who did my wax was phenomenal! Sadly, I was told she was leaving shortly after my visit but I am looking forward to my next visit, as all of their staff seem professional and thorough.

Friendly, cool and respectful staff! Getting a wax is usually an uncomfortable experience so I love when the esthetician is easy to talk to and makes you feel safe.

I usually have a great experience at this location but this one was a bit of a miss. The woman who did my treatment was nice enough, but seemed to rush through it, and didn't do any tweezing or ask me to check if I thought there were missed spots (like I've been asked in the past at this location). She gave me the lotion and stepped out of the room and I thought she might come back. I waited ten minutes and then the tv stopped which I guess was the signal for me to leave. I felt kind of embarrassed to mention it to the person who cashed me out, but there were a ton of missed spots and stuck on wax. I had to come home and do a ton of tweezing which is unfortunate after a 70 dollar service.
