The Tower Hotel

This place has horrible customer service. I have been trying to contact them for the past day via email and phone due to bedbugs. We stayed there for 1 night and came back with bedbugs. The room was small and was not as clean as they should be. The room also smelled of smoke. Please stay far away from this place not worth the price I paid for 2 rooms.

Rod at the front desk was so helpful. When it looked like they were overbooked and our room was taken, he was determined to figure out the problem. After about 10 minutes he found the mistake that was made, fixed it and gave us one of the best views in the hotel. He even called to check that we found everything okay. Thanks Rod!

Love, love, love! This place gets 5 stars just for the view!

Get a penthouse falls view room if you want a stunning view. To me it wouldn’t be worth it unless I had a falls view and that was what we booked. You won’t regret it! You can see the nightly fireworks perfectly as well.

This entire staff is amazing!

It’s in a perfect location for walking to the falls. The room could use a few touch ups to be honest, but we knew what we were getting. We read the reviews. We were beyond pleased. Don’t expect a 5 star room but expect a 5 star view. The room was small, but perfect for what we were looking for.

At first she asked that check out is at 12noon but next day she started calling us over the phone at 10: 30 am that you are supposed to leave building at 10.

Unfortunately. I had to stay in there for 1 night. I booked room as a falls view but when we went in the room I saw there was no falls view. They gave me city view room it was really bad night for me I don’t recommend that hotel if you want to book just make sure is it falls view or not I tried to with them and I explained when I booked it I didn’t see any options about rooms they told me all the rooms sold out. This happened to me I put on this review here and not gonna happen to anyone

Be prepared to park 5 minutes away for $35 on top of your room fee. Place is kind of a dump. Needs some upgrades.

Best view from a hotel I've ever had. Rooms were a little dated, and I've stayed in more luxurious hotels, but my view made this one of my all-time favorites.

Our room wound up having an incredible view which was really nice. It was spotless and clean, but we had some issues with the electricity in the room. Loved the location of the hotel. Service was alright - nothing to note, really.

Unfriendly staff they didn’t accept my check in bacause I didn’t have my credit card with me. But oakes hotel transfered me to hilton cuz they didn’t have falls views rooms with my debit payment. They were so friendly to help me out as i went all the way grom toronto.

But the tower hotel staff was so rude and unprofessional pointed out that I did and illegal thing using my brothers card even with his acknowledgment to book the hotel.

They didn’t even care i came from so far and I forgot to take the card with me. I never recommend anyone to go there. Instead goto oakes and hilton super friendly staff created me a away with debit card I had to check in.

If you are going to stay the night at Niagara Falls, you have to live it to the fullest, the spectacular view from The Tower Hotel is not to be missed.
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday the light show at night is impressive and the sunrise watching the falls from a majestic view.

Our stay at the Tower Hotel could not have been better.
This place was absolutely beautiful.
The staff at check in were incredibly nice & professional, they informed us of every amenities & things to do around the area.

The rooms were beautifully decorated along with nice furniture, our room had a Falls view & it was absolutely breathtaking.
This hotel has parking offsite with a cost by day & they have a shuttle that picks you up from the hotel & brings you right back, all you have to do is let the Valet know that you need the shuttle & it arrives immediately!)
you can use the shuttle as many times as you want/need during your stay.

The entire building was sparkling clean, from the entrance to the hotel, to the lobby, to the hallway to your room and of course your room cleaner than ever.
The cost for our stay was extremely reasonable. My wife & I were over the moon satisfied with our stay at the Tower Hotel. We've already agreed to coming back & stay at the Tower for our next trip to Niagara.
To the hotel employees who checked us in for our stay from June 9th to the 11th; thank you so much, you surpassed our expectations & definitely made this trip 1000% better. We really enjoyed ourselves, I personally do not think we could have been accommodated better.

No refrigerator, no toothpaste, no mineral water، but view was a good, location and staff were good.

They didn’t even pick my call. I have tried at least 10 times cause i did not have any room reservation so i think at least they should pick our call so that we can go ahead and look for another room

The hotel is good. If you expect luxury you might see somewhere else. The room was good we had great view. Although the bathroom was nice but when you shower the water gets all over the bathroom and I had to dry it. The hair dryer was broken and was from 1980’s or something. The parking is very expensive. Overall 4 out of 10

The staff was nice enough. The location is great, and if you pay the premium, the falls view is great. I took a city view on 29 and it was neat.
The elevators, hallways, and room were old, unmaintained, and disgusting. The room right next to mine (I saw inside while the maid was cleaning) had a full renovation and new bathroom.whereas My room was old, Small, dingey, clogged bathroom sink and a toilet which really didn't flush until the 3rd try and almost overflowing. Old bed which caved in the middle. There's no onsite parking. Their parking option costs 35$ and involves taking a van shuttle to your car which is blocks and blocks away from the tower. No thanks.
It's a hotel in the perfect location but a big roll of the dice.for the same 173 tax in, you'll do better at the comfort inn or other motor inn

Spent my bday weekend here & the View was amazing! Walk with your own water though, no complimentary water!

The room is small and there are no auxiliary facilities, but it is a good choice for those who are looking for a place with a good view and a cheaper price than the hotel with a good view next door. I was going to eat cup noodles while watching the waterfall, but it was unfortunate that a microwave and hot water were not provided, but it was nice to have Uber Eats delivered from a nearby Korean restaurant and eat while watching the waterfall.

I was in this hotel in the summer of 2013 and I can remember that I was a young man that didn't travel much and the staff were so pleasant and even upgraded my room after I accidentally booked a room much too small for what we needed. They brought my car to the front of the hotel when I called reception and told them I'm awake and wanting to head out. I remember the great view from the room and I remember the jet tub in the room I was in. If I ever come back to niagra falls then I'm booking into the tower hotel!

I would highly recommend the tower hotel to any couple planning a trip to see Niagara Falls. The room was spotless, had a fantastic view, and was in such a convenient location. The staff was friendly and helpful and parking was easy and convenient. While the rooms are smaller compared to many hotels nowadays, it was the perfect size for us as we were out and about most of our trip. Plenty of room to store our bags and to get ready for the day. We are so glad we didn’t let the negative reviews deter us from staying here. I woke up every morning and sat at the window to enjoy the view and did the same when we came back at night. I’ve attached some photos taken from the room, I could not get enough of it.

DO NOT GO HERE - ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE AN ETHNIC MINORITY

We are a company based out of Mississauga Ontario, with offices in Niagara Falls Ontario. Oftentimes, we have our staff stay in hotels when they are staying for longer than 2 days in the Niagara region. We recently started using The Tower Hotel (Fallsview Group). We booked the hotel for the first time a couple weeks ago for 5 nights, with no issue. They actually said "Thank you for booking with us for so long, as a gesture of appreciation, we are going to voluntarily upgrade your room".

After the stay ended, we had another staff member come to work in Niagara Falls, so we booked another room at the same hotel, to which again the hotel staff voluntarily upgraded the room, thanked us for our continuous business, and provided us with the Assistant General Manager (Alison Wilkinson) email to reach out to her directly in the future, and that she would provide us with even better rates for continuous stays.

Once again, for a third time, we booked another room after another staff member was coming down to our Niagara Falls office, but this time prior to booking it on Expedia as we usually do, we decided to reach out to the front desk staff as they would give us a better rate presumably. The front desk staff said that it would not be possible for us to keep the same room, and that we would have to book a new room for $210 - $250 per night. We didn't find that to be reasonable, so we left.

Later in the day, we found the same room available on Expedia for $90/night - so we went ahead and booked it, confused as to why the hotel was charging more than double. An hour or so later, the hotel called us to say the room was ready, and we went to check in. Upon seeing us, the hotel said "Sorry this is now considered a long term stay, and we will be cancelling your reservation immediately".

It seems as though the hotel wasn't honouring their listed price online, and in an effort to capitalize on higher rates for walk-in customers, they were arbitrarily cancelling online bookings, or bookings that came from affiliated 3rd parties. This issue could potentially also be racially motivated, as 70% of our staff are ethnic minorities. The hotel and its failure to provide a reasonable answer as to why the booking was cancelled creates doubt of various prejudices that are generally standard to situations like these.

We reached out multiple times to the hotel, the AGM, to only be met with no explanation as to why the reservation was cancelled.

Cannot believe what happened. I booked online and got a good deal, the front desk called me to let me know my room is booked and ready for check in. Drove from 3 hours away. 1 hour later they called me back and cancelled my booking for no reason …

They wanted to give it to a customer willing to pay more which is absolutely ridiculous. Absolute worst way to do business. Calling a customer to tell them their room is ready to cancel all of a sudden over the phone.

Will definitely not be staying here ever again. If there’s any issues they won’t even address it they just give you the option of emailing the manager and say “it’s her decision but you can’t talk to her you’ll have to email her”.

Do not stay here, they do not know how to treat customers. Last week they double charged me for parking 2 cars even though I came with 1 car and it took them over an hour to reverse the charge.

Well! I stayed here 03/31/23, In general what I saw of the Hotel was good, but be prepared because what you think your paying isn't true. Our room rate was $89.95 but after taxes and other charges and paid parking plus shuttle driver tip, because parking is off sight and 3 blocks away, our cost was $187. I just think you should know this going in!
