The Trail Eatery

Ordered a bacon cheeseburger burger and fries. The patty was great but smaller than I was hoping for. The vegetables were fresh. The bacon was hard as a rock and had lost its flavor from being overcooked. The fries that came with my burger were also overcooked hard as a rock and flavorless. But the stuff was amazing the atmosphere was awesome I gave them a decent tip but I hope they improve their cooking skills.

Good Philly cheesesteak! The spicy Italian pizza was also very good and the portions are large!

My favorite place to go and eat. Great country drive taking the back roads and then to eat at this lovely country setting place. And they make the most delicious lemon tarts. I have gone the last 4 Saturdays.

Usually when you eat at a place like this they give you lots of food at a decent price but the food is not that good. The food here is excellent and in some cases you can make a another meal out of it.

We stopped here on Father's day after a hike. The food was great, the service was great. There's a good selection of food. I will definitely be back again!

Love this little place. Always great food & the girls are always so friendly. I go in at least a few times a month-their soup is to die for & the pizza is yummy. Lots of desserts & good specials. I would highly recommend this place to anyone

Old-style diner with great classic dishes ideal for a satisfactory lunch with family. Self-serve coffee is okay, along with the soups and salad. Pleasant experience.

I'm sure for a local place it's fine but I wouldn't make a special trip to revisit. The salad was a little undersized for a large order. It just seemed to come in a bigger bowl. Lots of chicken, sandwiches looked reasonable. It's not awful but nothing makes it a 4 or 5 for me. To each his own.

My daughter and I had a wonderful lunch here after a hike on the Bruce Trail, Twiss Road. I highly recommend it.

Went in today at 3: 30 pm. Lady behind counter was very rude she turned away myself and another couple - she just started yelling as soon as we walked thru door “kitchens closed kitchens closed”
This is not the first time we have experienced this. Your store doesn’t close until 4 pm. Horrible etiquette

Used to be our favourite place to go while out riding our bikes but the service was terrible today and the staff blatantly ignored us while waiting to order. Too many other great options to pay for rude vibes! Best of luck keeping your loyal customers. You lost us.

This was an unexpected hidden gem. The food here hits home. My partner and I tried the tuna and cheese sandwiches and fries. And it was really good. If you’re going for a hike around Milton (and there are so many there) then this is the place to go for picking up a quick and delectable snack

Stopped here on a whim. Food was excellent, it was a hopping place. Beer was cold. Customer service was great. We will be back!

Take me back to the dinners of 90's with all the amenities of today, and you have the trail eatery. I simply stopped in for a quick snack and was met pleasantly and fed well. Couldn't ask for more!

Absolutely adorable little cafe! Service was great, food was so hot and fresh and the menu was varied enough to appeal to anyone's taste. I had the corner beef on rye with onion rings and both were so good! The Italian wedding soup was also really fresh and delicious. Highly recommend this eatery when you're in the Campbellsville area!
