Guy running this store is a tool. Consistent errors with pickups, lost packages. Pretty sure he's stealing them for himself. Should be fined/shut down.

Horrible, horrible treatment! Was disrespected, called names and told to never return only because they forgot to ship my package and I demanded a refund which they refused.
Editing my review after speaking with the owner, John, who apologized for the incident and was very nice to me. Since I have never experienced such treatment there before, I am hoping this will be one and only time I felt like that.

I’m giving jonathan (the bald-headed, lazy, insecure man-child, who you will certainly find to be ugly on the inside, if not out) 1 star for choosing a decent location to lure innocent customers into his crooked franchise. Catch him standing around wasting time, looking through the window, just a few feet away from the piles of boxes that he should have shipped out already. Beware and avoid this UPS franchisee at all costs; if he doesn’t attack you in store with his poor customer service, scroll through these reviews and see that he will insult you here with his poor grammar. I would leave a constructive review if it was deserved.

Edit: This is the right place, please make sure your employees provide accurate info next time.

Rude and they give you false information (UPS does have Hong Kong shipping options unlike what one of the workers who's been doing this "for 4 years" said). You're better off savings dozens of dollars by printing your label online and dropping it off. The Sherway branch is much more helpful as well

Being a senior, I was having difficulty downloading the documents I needed printed. Matthew was most patient and helpful. In no time, my copying job was complete. Great job.

I want to give zero stars to the manager of this store. He is the rudest person that I have seen in my life. He charged me extra money for sending my package in 3 days, and after one week, my parcel was delivered. I went there to get my refund for the extra cash. He started to insult and threaten me that He doesn’t allow me to get my package because he knew that is my passport and it was important. He kick us out of the store, and he said “don’t waste my time you are crazy and fu…”. I can’t believe that a manager being like that. I don’t care about money I just care about his harassment behaviour.

This review is for THE CORRECT LOCATION and CONSISTENT with others’ reviews! My experience in this UPS store was generally good until one of the employees who is very rude bullied me and my husband! (probably Jonathan from reading other reviews)
First he calls my husband cell number that your wife made a complaint about a package arrival! Which wasn’t true and he starts humiliating him that how do you not know? ! Did you get a divorce from your wife? !
the next day I call before hand to see if they take passport photos and he says yes. I arrive there and ask for US visa photo (which only is different is size from passport photo) and he says no we don’t take US visa photo! And he doesn’t even bother to come to the front desk to talk with me and starts to argue with me to go two stores down which was closed by the way! Will never return back to this UPS location.

I was very disappointed and shocked by how rude, dismissive, and demeaning the owner, Jonathan (?), was during the visit that my wife and I had. My wife had her important documents shipped from here a week before our visit. She had filed a complaint with the UPS franchise because of the terrible customer service (read disservice) that she had experienced with their employee, Matthew. Consequently, the UPS franchise had told us to stop by to get a refund since our shipment was lost initially, giving us a lot of stress. Even when found it was delivered late. He tried to avoid the refund or pay it in half even though it was approved. The disrespectful attitude that I witnessed from Jonathan makes me wonder how on earth this business is still open. He kept saying that he didn't have time "for this. " At some point, he said, "Do you speak English? " as a derogatory expression since I have an accent. A little decency would look good on you when treating others, Mr. Jonathan!

Do not go to this location, they steal packages! Avoid this location. I dropped off my package and they gave me no tracking number, when I asked they were rude. My package was never delivered. I wish I read the reviews before going there.

They would not even look for a package that was sent to their store! Instead they just say it is not there. Very rude and unprofessional. Go anywhere else! Owner says contact DHL, it is his store and he is the one that will not even look for a package. Don't worry I have our telephone conversation recorded and I will contact DHL and UPS.

Employee took one look at my box and told me I couldn't drop it off there. Barely looked up from his newspaper. He was downright rude when I asked him where I should bring it. How am I supposed to know which UPS store can accept larger packages? If you're reading this, try being a bit more polite.

Edit: it was a UPS Ground package, not Purolator as the owner says below. Way to go, Owner. You totally missed the point of the review here.

Dropped off package on Thursday. No change in tracking updates for 5 days. Wish I read the reviews here before dropping of my package. Does this franchise steal packages? Hope not and if they do should face justice. Ups should close them down.

CONSTRUCTIVE CRITISISM AS PER YOUR PREVIOUS COMMENTS TO OTHER POSTS

Have you met John? Well, my husband did. It seems some rule can be broken sometimes by his staff but not all the time. He was rude to my husband and when I called to discuss the matter his staff blamed my husband. Really? I understand the customer is not always right but repeating the same thing over and over to a man with disabled wife who is unable to get to the location due to no accessible door and work issues is just wrong. Also screaming at customers while serving other customers wrong. Up until yesterday would have given this place 5 stars. Took off work to arrive at the store as the store hours say "9: 00am to 6: 30[, " but no one there. Window was busted out in a few places so I guess someone else met "John". I guess you could call this my Dear John letter to UPS and store 176 225 The East Mall in particular. Going to try once more to pick up the package but have little hope the store will be open or my package will be there! ** PS left 2 voice mails and neither were returned. Read the other reviews and now I know why. What is your excuse John? Rain? Power Outage? Holiday Hours? Or are you just wishing you could win the lottery and sell the store?

If it was possible, I would rate zero stars. Anyone looking to use a UPS Store are advised to use a different location. The person behind the counter named John was very hostile, berated and yelled insults at me after I had asked questions about costs and package information. Overall this person and location is not recommended, as it does not represent UPS properly or in a positive light.

I ended up going to the Bloor W.location and had a much better customer experience and was treated fairly, with all my questions being answered in a detailed and professional manner. The East Mall location will attempt to upcharge on customs fees that are not in line with other UPS Stores. John did not provide accurate information to me as to what is and isn't allowed to be sent out.

This location should not be used for any shipping or packaging services and is to be avoided if you do not want to get ripped off.

Stopped by to drop off a box for international shipping. First time sending overseas, so I had questions. The guy helping me was very helpful and friendly. We made small talk and the whole process was quick and easy.

The overall experience was very positive and I look forward to my next transaction.

Someone needs to teach the owner how to treat people with respect. Absolute disgust that I had to speak to him. Horrible person, not sure how he still has clientele after the utter nonsense that comes out of his mouth. I wish I could give this location 0 stars. Inhuman behaviour. Terrible customer service.

I had the most horrible experience with this store! I rate them -10 outta 5! Horrible horrible customer service! Instead of educating me, he was being racist and I knew he was judging me every second that I was there! I always come here to get prints and the staff is really amazing and friendly. But was the first time I was trying to ship something out and this guy kept rushing me saying they’re already closed. I went to the store at 6: 40pm when all UPS stores close at 7pm! He kept insisting that they close at 6: 30pm and kept rushing me to do my stuff. I needed to send important documents and I said that I needed time to make sure it was right. He said I was tricking him to keep the store open longer! The worst part is instead of telling me how to ship stuff out he made sure that he insulted me for not knowing how to send a courier!

BEWARE! I think this location is running a scam. I dropped off my MacBook Air for return to Apple. I encountered a similar situation to others who have posted negative reviews. There was one man behind the counter chatting with another man in the store. The UPS employee asked me if I was dropping off an item, I said yes, so he told me to leave it on the counter. I asked for a receipt but he told me the tracking number was the number I received on my email from Apple. I should have trusted my instinct and pushed for a receipt. I didn't as I trusted this UPS employee. Big mistake. Apple has not received my computer. UPS needs to look into this location and shut it down!

Great customer service and the people working there were very helpful. I always use that store for shipping. I have to note that the new ownership is much better and it improved the store overall.

I usually go there every month to send documents with DHL but today it was something else! You can totally tell the difference of the new ownership! Not only that the place even looks nicer already! Good luck!

Went to ship a package to my family in the Philippines today and was greeted promptly. Very thankful and pleased with the service I received especially during these times. Was informed that the store is under new ownership. I'll be coming back here again!

Wish there was an option for zero stars. Nazar was not helpful and rude. UPS told me to just take the package there and they will print the label for free. At the store I was told it's $2. It's not not about the money, its the principle.
If I had a printer, I wouldn't need them to print it.

Incredibly rude woman at counter decided to take my business elsewhere. She wanted to charge 15$ to print a waybill and told us to leave if we didn’t like her price. After listening to her take a phone call and be rude to another customer we promptly left. Will never return

Absolutely hands down the worst customer service I’ve encountered. The owner “Ying” had me put my own tracking stickers on my packages, then told me to pick them up and carry them over to the stack of boxes in the corner. She kept repeating that I call customer service for any questions I had (for example, when will the packages be received if they're marked “express”). To top it off my packages didn’t arrive and when I called the store they once again sent me along to customer service. Why UPS would want somebody like this representing their company is beyond me.
In this day and age, with a huge amount of competition around, rudeness on this level isn’t acceptable. If you have the choice, choose to go somewhere else.

I wish I could leave negative stars. It has been a long time since I’ve encountered such deplorable customer service. The rude women at the counter had no clue what was going on. She refused to give me my package which had my address (matched my ID) and my husbands name in it. Canada post is a government agency and they only require that the address matches on the government issued photo ID. She kept insisting it was company policy and called her boss. She continued to give me a dirty look and spoke to him in a language I didn’t understand. Which I pointed out was rude and unprofessional since I didn’t understand what she said and she was talking about me. She started yelling that I was calling her a liar and I didn’t believe her and slammed the card for head office down in the desk.

Sure enough the gentlemen who answered the phone let her know on speaker phone that the company policy is simply that the address matches, there is no need for the names to match. He also told her that she was misinformed and that there is no company policy stating the names need to match. Do you think she offered an apology for the grief she caused me? Of course not she muttered something again in a language I didn’t understand. Disgusting and deplorable behaviour.

USP service was great, no complaints there.
The staff at this franchise not so much,
It was my first time filling out a corporate waybill and need some guidance.the cashier Lucy in plain clothes was doing her best but it seemed to be her first or second day, we have all been there. My issue is with the uniformed worker, shorter asian lady who seemed to be trying to teach her the ropes who was quite uneducated on UPS's services and very brief with me every time I had a question on how to fill out a form I have never filled out before.
After a quick answer she would leave me and go into the back and get increasingly exasperated with me every time I would ask her to do her job
she would repeatedly say "I don't work for UPS, we're just a franchise"

Terrible customer service! I went in to return an Amazon purchase which I have never done before, the shop assistant had ZERO answers for my questions. I was going to just wing it and put both returns in one box as they were going to the same shipping address, when I asked if there was any tape (which Canada Post had always let me use) she said for sales only it effects our wages. So, I went across to the dollarama and bought tape for 1.50. Make sure you dont depend on these people for answers or assistance!
