Michelle is the number one reason I use this location. As before in a previous UPS store she continues to exceed my expectations in the role of a sales associate. She adapts to change easily, works well under pressure with a positive attitude and is detail-oriented. Michelle often goes beyond the call of duty. 10/10 for Michelle!

Always go to the lady working there. The male employee is very rude and takes long to scan ur package. Acts like he’s being inconvenienced when asking for a simple receipt. I go to this location quite often and the lady there is great, she is very friendly and works fast. I wish I could say the same for the other guy working there.

I want to take a special moment and thank Michelle and Karim for everything!

I've been using UPS for over a decade, but I struggled to find an independent store that actually cares about its customers.

I've been to other stores, and I never had the same excellent customer service, but I'm glad I came to this location, and this will be my only Toronto UPS store location from now on!

I had to mail out two envelopes, one to another province and one to the US. The one couriered to the US arrived less than 24 hours, and I was happy and shocked that it was delivered within such a short time; however, the Montreal envelope. Oh boy, that's was a crazy, bizarre situation.

The Montreal envelope had legal documents intended for the Civil division of the Montreal Superior Court House. Before I mailed out the documents, I confirmed with the Civil Department Law Clerks that the address and information on the envelope were correct. The Clerks informed me that everything was accurate and the department will be expected the envelope.

When I arrived at the UPS store to ship it out, Michelle helped me throughout the whole process, and I was able to get the envelope sent out overnight priority.

Everything was okay once it left the store.

The problem started when the envelope was out for delivery in Montreal the next morning. Delivery was scheduled for 10: 30 am Friday. Well, that didn't happen at all.

For some reason, the Montreal UPS driver wouldn't deliver the envelope. The driver wrote a note on the delivery, "Address needed updating, wrong address. "

I was in complete shock and livid. So, I contacted the Superior Court House and connected with Law Clerks, who were also baffled that the UPS driver refused to deliver my envelope. And then it occurred to me the reason why the driver didn't want to deliver because the driver either has a criminal record or was afraid that they would end up arrested.

From the moment I saw the driver's bogus notes in the tracking log, I was on the phone with the Superior Court from 10: 30 am to closing. I spoke to eight Law Clerks just to reassure that the address written on the envelope was correct, and it was. Even one Law Clerk I spoke to was in shock because the Clerk had just received an envelope delivered by UPS while I waited for mine to be delivered.

I couldn't believe it. I was even connected over to the Court House Security Department, and the Security Officer couldn't believe the situation I was going through. Although the Superior Court was closed to the public, courier deliveries were allowed to be delivered.

The Guard gave me a name and room to ensure that the envelope would be delivered within the afternoon. Well, that didn't happen. The driver took my envelope and dropped it at the Lachine depot, adding another note, "Pick-up delivery attempted. " How can a delivery end up as a pickup?

Even Michelle and Karim repeatedly contacted and emailed UPS directly to get through to the driver, but the driver refused to respond.

I exhausted the entire Friday trying and hoping that the UPS driver would deliver, but nothing was done, so I had to wait until Monday morning for another attempted delivery.
Michelle, with the permission of Karim, seeing everything that the driver did to my delivery, offered me a refund for all the mess. Monday was another hectic day hoping and waiting for the envelope to be delivered.

Once I got the delivery notification, Michelle immediately contacted me and guaranteed that UPS would be issuing me a refund due to the driver's refusal to do their job.

After this experience and all the help and compassion I received from both Michelle and Karim, I will only continue to support UPS Store #479!

This was my first time sending a UPS package and I had the pleasure of being guided by a helpful and patient employee. Not to mention I went in just 20 mins before closing time. Would happily use their services again.

Great customer service, and was very helpful! I went to this UPS Store quite a bit of the way from home in downtown as it has better reviews, and from my experience they absolutely deserve the excellent rating! Definitely recommend!

Michelle provided impressive service which is rare these days. It's the tiny gestures that matter. She offered me water and a paper towel to seal the envelope on her own initiative as I expressed my hesitation to seal the envelope with my tongue. I was concerned the courier guy would not see or read the small print to ring the doorbell. Michelle decided to write large letters and showed me that an oversight won't occur. I phoned to request proof of signature and she emailed me the evidence without delay. Michelle showed genuine kindness and wiped all worries from my mind. I felt grateful.
Thanks Michelle for your outstanding attitude.

Ran here to drop off an international package before work on a saturday. Arrived there at 2: 53 pm. Door was locked, gate was drawn across the door, no answer when I knocked. If you say you're open until 3: 00 pm, please stay open until 3: 00 pm.

Great location downtown, easily accessible. Convenient, moderately priced services. Definitely a good option for quick Amazon returns. The staff are very professional.

Just called UPS and the lady on the phone was EXTREMELY RUDE! I asked her if she can search a tracking number for me and she said no and that i needed to call 1800 number. I advised her that I did call and it gives me a busy signal and I've tried over and over again and if she can please tell me what I can do. She said "I dont work for UPS I work for th UPS STORE. " LIKE.what! How does that even make any sense. She was unprofessional and rude and so snarky! How can someone answer a phone like that to a customer especially during these times! I WISH I got her name!

Michelle is impatient, rude and narcissistic. The customer service is barely there and I highly doubt those high ratings are fake. I arrived at the store 20 minutes before closing time. After asking few questions she became impatient and told me have to come back tomorrow, and closes the counter 10 minutes before the closing time. She then grabs my stuff and throws it out 5 minutes later when I was trying to finish the mailing paper.

I used their service in Nov, 2018 and I was extremely impressed with the service they provided. The lady, Michelle, helped me pack my lose items in such a neat way that I could send my parcel with a smaller box which cost me much less if I had to pack myself. I’ve used ups and dhl services quite a lot in different countries but this store is much more cheerful and helpful. It’s lucky that I came to this place to deliver my stuff back to hk.

This review about ups but not a store related issue. It is basically about receiving an import delivered to my location and again no store is implicated. It is was hell dealing with ups. I called about 3-4 times to know why i was being billed 18.00 and it took forever to find out and yet it was always confusing because it was supposed to be 10 since it was a flight and then they i believe lied that the customs touched it so the price raised yet there is no proof that that customs opened it when i finally saw the invoice. Then they lied again that they would deduct 5.00 off if i paid online.i insisted that the cs wait to see if i get the right price if i pay before delivery yet that did not work either. I was not deducted nor was i send an email saying that it would be resolved. Getting the right information on the phone is ridicuously difficult and full of lies. I kept asking if i had an account but they kept answering that was a 1 time shipment. You really need to fight to get facts from this company and my vendor in USA said that they are given a hard time too and were kind enough to reimburse me all the ups fees! I just wanted to know what i was billed for and why.since the delivery was already paid for! It is hell working with this company

I have been to this location twice and my experiences in both occasions were great. In my recent visit (July 16,2019), Hamid was super nice. He packaged the item I was returning to Amazon. And I also observed him to be very helpful and nice to another customer. Great job, Hamid!

Worst service I have EVER received for a very important issue. My dad forgot his medications at home and needed them to be shipped to the US. We called in to the store before we came in to ensure it could be delivered by Tuesday morning. We were asked to give a description of the package, the cost, dimensions etc. Then we were told there was no issue, and the packaged would be express delivered in 1 business day (and would arrive Tuesday morning). We filled out the description of the product, stating it was a medication, and all other required information. We were given our receipt and were on our way. The next morning we received a phone call from Michelle, who stated that it was impossible for the package to get there on Tuesday morning, since it needed to be reviewed by the FDA (and that we needed to additionally provide a printout of my dads passport, and the original prescription). This was all new information to us, that they were providing after they had already processed the payment and the parcel. She did not apologize for her colleague's mistake, was extremely rude on the phone to both myself and my mother, and told us we need to get that documentation or nothing could be done (and even in that case, it won't arrive by the time we had requested). We had finally decided we would cancel the order and ship from Fedex instead. We needed to drive downtown to pick up the package from her. All in all, horrible experience, and no sympathy for what is a very serious concern from us.

Honestly that's the more wonderful experience to ship an item ahah. The lady working there, (I believe it's Michelle I may be wrong) is wonderful. She help me a lot even if it was near to be time for closing. Thank you very much Michelle for being so nice. I hope you can get quick a promotion from UPS.ahah All the best!
