The Village Hive Duncan Mill - Coworking & Meeting Space

Monica and the Hive team are amazing. Great clean facilities, nice open spaces, little nooks and crannies to hide if need be. Big kitchen with the usual office necessities. The phone booths are really good when you need to take a personal call and your suite is being used or need extra privacy. The office has a lot of extra activities and a social lunch every month for those that want to socialize. Something is always buzzing at The Village Hive!

Having worked at multiple workspaces, I keep finding myself back at this one. Monica was so welcoming since day 1. She gave a detailed tour of the space and amenities to make sure I had everything I needed for work (coffee, snacks and touchless sinks were all such thoughtful details too!) There’s a good amount of desks (including standing desks) and phone booths for when you have to hop on a call. My go-to workspace for sure!

This coworking space is fantastic. Monica runs a tight ship to help make you feel welcome, settled in with what you need to do your job, and part of the community. Definitely recommend and looking forward to more visits in the future.

Probably the best co-working space in North York area. It has everything you need to boost productivity. Ergonomic desks and chairs, external monitors, phone booths, and many more.

I'd also like to shout out to Monica, the community manager who is very heartwarming and make you feel like you're part of a family.

We always have meetings at Tuesday and Thursdays at this place. Everyone loves it, big space to have meeting and very modern style of the place. Reception is always kind to you and will help to solve any questions!

This place is great! I used drop in desk option a few times. Monika who manages the place is kind and friendly. She provides all the information you need. The co working space is mix with private rooms and open space desks. It was quiete enough to focus on my work and I also loved their phone booth that I can jump in for the short online meetings. I will definitely continue to visit this place whenever I need a place to work other than my home office.

The Village at Duncan Mills is a great place to work. Comfortable, clean, nice kitchen and meeting rooms. Very good location and Monica who manages the office is great! She always has an smile on and is always willing to help.

The Best Work Place in GTA! They have a very friendly staff and Monica is the best lady to deal with.

The Village Hive environment is one of the best experiences for work and meetings. Positive and friendly space as well as quiet which is suitable for workgroups and business activities.

Excellent space and a fantastic environment. One of the challanges of working from home is missing the "buzz" of the office, but the Hive gives you that sense of business around you without distracting from what you need to do. I was instantly "in the zone" and focued on my work.

With a variety of spaces available, lots of parking, and simply incredible staff, there's just nothing you could need that they don't have. I'll be back soon!

Loved spending the day here working with my partner! We booked in the evening after-hours for the next morning and were worried no one would see or approve our request to book a private office room on time. But, before I even woke up, I had an email in my inbox from Monica letting us know we are approved to come in and she even upgraded us to a slightly bigger room since there was space and no one renting it.

As reviews suggested, Monica was awesome, gave us a tour of the place and made us feel very welcome.

Place is clean, nice stocked kitchen with the necessities and coffee/tea/milk/sugar, the rooms were nice. Only thing I would say is for someone who is running multiple one-hour long video calls every day, it would be hard to use the common co-working desk spaces & even phone booth for prolonged period of time so office rooms would be necessary - And those are quite a bit pricier than general coworking desks, which is expected but makes it a less affordable option for folks like myself.

Otherwise, I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be back!

Our team had an amazing day at the Village Hive in North York! The location was perfect for our team meetings, seminar training in their board rooms, and we were even able to use their cool new private phone booths. The office was the perfect space to rent for the day and we will be back to use the coworking open space as well. Lot's of room, great amenities (even a pod cast room!), and everyone was very helpful and friendly. Thank you again and we will be back!

Such a great place to work out of! Everyone's really friendly and open to having nice conversations but there is also respect for folks who want to work quietly. Lots of meetings rooms and a very clean kitchen

I rented an office for the weekend so I could attend a virtual meeting. The place was great, very clean, bright and great amenities. Would highly recommend.

What a wonderful location. Clean, spacious, bright, welcoming and accessible. Easy to book with quick and helpful responses from the manager - Monica. This is an amazing location, 30 seconds from the bus stop or 5 minutes from the highway. There are so many restaurants that provide delivery service here so you don't have to worry about forgetting your lunch or morning coffee. And Monica is an absolute ray of sunshine. Upon arrival she set me up and gave me a tour. Helped me to set up my computer (excellent tech) and was available to answer all questions. Will definitely use again in the future!

Love the Village Hive in Duncan Mill! The beautiful space, the abundance of natural light, the large desks and the people are just some of the many reasons why I keep returning when I need to get out of the house and get myself focused! Highly recommend!

I travelled to North York from London to drop a friend at her event and was eagerly waiting for a workspace nearby the area. I came across the Village Hive Duncan Mill and was in awe of how productive my day was by working at this place. Monica, the manager gave me a warm welcome and a tour of the workspace. There are plenty of desks which you can choose from depending on the different membership passes. There are meeting rooms, phone booths, podcast room, studio, dining area etc. Monica did quick check ins to make sure everyone is comfortable/ needed anything. I would highly recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for meeting space for themselves or office staff. I’m surely coming back to work at the Village Hive. Sharing some pics.

I have been renting an office at The Hive since June 2021 and have had a great experience here! The space is clean and bright with many different office and meeting spaces. Monica, the office manager is a delight to work with and puts a lot of effort into keeping the space updated, always providing a positive and productive environment.

Newer coworking space near Don Mills and York Mills that is well-appointed, bright, clean and has a nice mix of: open space, phone booths for quick calls, offices, a board room and even a podcast room. Monica is a pleasure to interact with and is truly dedicated to making the experience as pleasant as possible for us. Highly recommend!

This place saved me when my home work environment was not ideal! The office space is clean, welcoming and spacious. The members are friendly and the office manager, Monica is an absolute joy to be around. She always ensures that her members are happy and if we are not comfortable for any reason, she will do everything she can to fix any issue. They have many pricing options, so there is a plan that can suit anyone’s needs.

This place was literally a God send for me during an especially challenging time for my family. I was in Toronto for about 6 weeks to take care of my dad and needed a place to work from and Monica - who manages the Duncan Mill location made every effort to help me have a dedicated office space to work out of. The offices are clean, inviting and bright and the internet was super fast (449.5 Mbps download speed) and its open 24/7 so you can come in and get work done at any time. She was also very responsive to every question I had and made working there such an awesome experience. I plan on making this the place I work from anytime I am in Toronto! If you need a place that is bright, welcoming, well managed and gives you a sense of community while also getting your work done.this is THE place!

I recently used the Video Podcasting room at Duncan Mill Hive for two virtual meetings where I needed the high quality webcam and mic, green screen, bright lights and strong wifi, which I don't get when using my laptop at home. I have recorded videos and webinars in the space, and it gives a professional look that I can't get at home. The quality was excellent, and I will use the room again.

I have also used the coworking space many times. It is bright, welcoming, comfortable, and a wonderful change from my small home office/spare room. I am much more productive when at Duncan Mill Hive than at home. Duncan Mill Hive is easy to get to (just off the 401), there is plenty of free parking, and when it warms up, I will check out the trail close by for a lunchtime walk.

All I can say is. I love this place. It's a second home for me. I needed a place to get work done as my wife and son are CONSTANTLY bothering me. The environment is great, easy to get work done and Monica does a great job running the place (despite her squeaky shoes). Last thing, the Hive is very affordable and doesn't nickel and dime you for things like coffee and printing like other coop working spaces.

The Hive Duncan Mill has been a life saver - as an entrepreneur with young children, working at home is near impossible. The Hive provides a peaceful, stress-free work environment that allows me to focus. The best part is the option to come at anytime, so I'm often here after the kids are in bed and instead of working at a dining table thinking about the laundry or messy kitchen, I can really dedicate time to proper work. Monica, the on site manager, is kind, thoughtful, and so helpful - I'm so glad to be a part of this community!

Joining the Hive is one of the best decisions I made as a sole proprietor.

Working at the Hive gives me a lot of flexibility: (1) location flexibility as I can work in different places or settings, and (2) financial flexibility as it beats renting a high-priced static office in the GTA.

A co-working place is an excellent alternative to working from home. So I mix it up. I work a few days from home, where I have a good setup and a few days at the Hive, where I meet like-minded entrepreneurs. That's appealing to me, and I am so glad to be part of the Hive community.

A bright, neat and welcoming place that creates a professional and pleasant working environment, for everyone (compared to so many office spaces that I visited before opting for this place) I get a lot of reading, researching and writing done as well as receiving and conducting webinars, with peaceful mind. The places is open 24 hours which is a huge added value! Monica's management of Duncan Mill Hive is truly inspiring (and no she didn't pay me to say so:) ) in every way possible; she's a lady of heart and mind! I usually need to use different spaces in the facility based on my work needs, and she makes it easy for me every time, in a friendly and professional manner. The right place for every professional who tends to be productive at work with peace of mind!

New and Modern coworking space at a great location. Easy to get to by TTC or trafic-free by road.

I had been a member of the another coworking location by one of the co-owners. I loved it there. I love this location even more.

Reasons you should try this place:

- The have a one day pas that you can use to try the place.
- Management staff is very welcoming and friendly.
- Membership rates are lower than any similar coworking space in GTA.
- They are VERY serious about keeping the place safe and sanitized to make it COVID safe.

Love this place as it gives me a chance to escape from my home routine and work productively! I also really appreciate work of stuff that makes the working environment so safe and clean!

The Duncan Mill Hive is one of the best places to get your work done and achieve high productivity rates. I have tried many places to study in public as a change in scenery from my normal desk at home, and the Duncan Mill Hive, in my opinion, is superior to the libraries and cafes. As a coworking space, I find that the services offered here should entice anyone to come and try it out. The high-speed internet connection, private offices, and the common area are among those which made my experience more enjoyable. I believe that being able to work in the common area with other people will make you feel as if you are back in the office and can increase the amount of work you accomplish. Of course with the COVID regulations, the Duncan Mill Hive is well equipped to prevent the further spread of the virus. Those who are in the common area have plastic shields between desks, and masks are required as well. The no-contact sinks are also a benefit; you can turn on and off the taps with the touch of your arm instead of using your hands. Hand sanitizer and disinfectant sprays are available in every corner. The administrative and construction team did a wonderful job in ensuring that the members of the Hive receive five-star service. I definitely recommend becoming a member of the Duncan Mill Hive. You won't regret it!

This is the perfect place to really settle down and get some work done without any distractions. The modern and new feeling atmosphere will make you feel like you're right at the office. The office rooms, kitchen, bathrooms and common areas are all kept pristine and tidy. I think the sizes of all the offices stuck out to me the most, as they were all extremely spacious and well worth the price.

On top of all of that, you will have the great opportunity to meet other like-minded professionals and build a network of connections. The staff are also wonderful and always make you feel very welcome and comfortable!
