The Waltzing Weasel

I went in there the other day and sat in Richelle's section. The service was on point. She was super friendly & efficient. I love a sommersby on ice and not all places have it, but the Weasel does! The nachos & wings were delicious! And.my son was very pleased that they have Barq's root beer there too. It's our fave! We will definitely be back & I'll ask to be seated in Richelle's section again for sure! From napkins & cutlery, to ketchup & refills, we didn't have to ask for a thing. She was on it before we even had a chance to ask. Great food & great service! Thank you.

Decided to go out for a drink and an appetizer, Ashley was friendly and served our table quickly while always checking in periodically to make sure we had what we needed. Such a sweet girl

Waited at the "Wait to be seated" sign for 5 minutes before being told to sit anywhere. Strolled over to the patio and didn't get severed after 20 mins waiting on the patio so we left.

Waltzing Weasel is extremely unique in a positive way. They offer Trivia Pursuit to be played by their customers on Wednesday evenings. Though most of the questions were a bit difficult for me to answer. I found the experience enjoyable.
Their wings and appetizers were half price on that night as well.
The fries tasted great. My server must of been really busy. My beer took a little long to arrive but that was okay. This place as a reputation of corporate outings. Also a place to meet after a sporting event or work celebration. I enjoy the patio in the summer months. I should make a habit of going here more.

Service was a bit slow, only one server on @lunch time. The atmosphere was fantastic, the food was pretty good. I definitely want to go back, maybe after dinner and play darts.

I have gotten the salmon and when got it the next day to find out I got food positioning wouldn't recommend the Salmon tomato sauce pasta

Joined an old friend for lunch. Had a couple of cold pints and the fish and chips. Enjoyed lunch at a decent price. Good service too

Tried to go to this restaurant on a Monday night with my parents and my 21 month old to support local. Read the reviews beforehand but decided to give it a shot since we live up the road. The hostess/server informed us we could sit anywhere so we found a table and started settling in. No one brought a high chair so we found one ourselves in a tucked away corner where the floor was covered in what seemed to be sand/dirt. Oh and it was SO hot inside this place. I felt like I was in the sketchiest version of a sauna. The server brought a kids menu for drawing on but no crayons so really it was just a piece of paper. When asked if the dirt/sand concoction could be cleaned up because we were staring right at it, the server didn’t even seem to notice it was there. Tables and floors were so sticky, we ended up just paying for our drinks and left. If the inside of this restaurant wasn’t so disgusting, I’d probably come back to try the food, but we couldn’t even stand being in this place for more than 10 mins. 0/10.

Me and my buddies were gonna make this our weekly bar but honestly the service was so slow and the server was rude. Other places are much faster and friendlier, won't be going back

Drinks were terrible and was charged for a drink that had no carbinaruin because tank was empty I guess she forgot to take it off my bill Have to say we didnt feel welcome at all by bartender, felt like an inconvenience

Yesterday evening we visited this place, and we were very excited to enjoy the Friday, but while waiting for someone to show us the table, we felt an act of racism towards us by the server lady.

The lady who came to us scanned us top to bottom weirdly. That was ok considering we are expecting a baby soon so that may attract some attention, but then she said the place was at full capacity, and it clearly wasn’t. Also, 5 people just left the place in front of us so obviously, there was a place for us to accommodate.

The lady said it will take 25 mins to get us a table, we said we are ok to wait. But then, she just left, without taking our name or number to let us know. She didn’t want us to be there. We left the place.

We felt very bad about it. This is the first time we faced such a thing in Canada, and this experience ruined our Friday for us. Hope the management takes some action on this.

I ordered to pick up dinner, the staff stayed late to make my food. Everytime I go the food is so good.

Spent $50 ordering from your restaurant I got the Philly Melt and with 1/2 the sandwich the beef was dry and overcooked and the other half the beef was burnt and dried out and I wasn't able to eat it

Established local that’s been consistent since I started frequenting here in the early 90’s. The wings, yorkie’s and currie’s are top of menu, with a good selection of taps. Lots of regulars so come early for entertainment nights

Great food, good prices, staff are usually fantastic but on a rare occasion, we were almost forgotten, we got food on time, but had to ask a different waitress to find our server as we were waiting a very long time for a take out box and a cheque. Even with that little hiccup, I still feel they deserve a 5 of 5 stars. I will not hesitate to recommend or to go back again! Love the Weasel!

Never been inside. Not sure y its saying i was here.lol I dont drink. But looks nice from the outside.

It was terrible, staff forgot to hook up house craft brew properly, so it wasn't available, out of Coors Lite, middle of summer, and patio was closed, Everything we requested that was offered on the menus was not available, never in my life have I had a establishment strike out so bad.they tried, they did apologize, Would never recommend this restaurant, and will definitely never go back. Can't figure out how they are in business!

Well I'm just hoping nobody said that for you it was only up to 6 minutes listening to the Husky gas station South Oshawa I apologize if anybody read that rate

$7 burger special on Thursday. The burger is actually home made, a rare find. Service was excellent.

Food was good. Service a little slow. Typical bar atmosphere. Lots of TVs around so you can watch whichever game or match of your choosing.

Typical local watering hole, service is spotty and slow, we also witnessed a couple people that were overserved. Not sure I would bring kids here.

I waited over an hour for my dish. It wasn't hot when served. The waitresses were not very attentive to out table. I wanted to order more drinks however the waitress didn't show up until the food was served. Not a good experience. To follow up, I did not get the servers name. We were a table of 18 on July 24th 2019.

Nice place, good atmosphere, friendly waitress, fast service, well priced Monday night pints. The pound of wings were pretty good too.

The place is great and food is awesome but unfortunately our waitress was not great that night. Forgot our water and had to ask other waitress for bill. Still waited awhile. Great pub though worth going to.

Food and drinks were good, service was not that good. If the server came near our table more often, they would have made more money off us for sure. Oh well.

I really liked the place, the atmosphere was great. Wild selection of beers and a really great kid's menu. The food was delicious as well. My only concern was the service. We were rushed when ordering, the entree was on the table before we finished the soup, the bill arrived with the dessert.they should work on that, but otherwise a great experience.

The food is great, but the internet sucks. They ruined my Champions League final! I couldn't watch five minutes in a row without having the image freezing. It's 21st century, guys!

Friendly service. Great specials.burger & fries at $7.pint & 1lb wings at $12. Lots of TVs.families welcome.and a patio.

It has been a while since we have been and we were not disappointed. I had the jumbalia and my wife had fish and chips. The food and service were great. Good value as well, we will be back soon.

Food is good, Staff are nice, Alcohol is good and lots of TVs for sports so your always up to date on the latest game.

Surprisingly good food for a pub and good prices, the only bad thing is that the Guinness is too cold

Just left, 5 pm got there not busy at all 40 minutes for the food to come, way well done

"The Weazel" has been a favourite for a long time. Great kitchen with an unassuming pub.

Update: since the renovation and new ownership, service has steadily gone downhill.
Waitresses are usually socializing. Top of your lungs, fake laughter might pad your tip at one table, but the guy who’s eardrums you’re blasting at the next table might just want a meal and a beer without needing earplugs.
Wings have changed too, it’s a shame.

Ordered wings today.no dip for the veggies, no more wet wipe, and the waitress managed to take time away from her social life to call down from the bar area once in a while to see if everything was ok.

I don’t think I need to come back here.first time in years that I didn’t leave a tip, and I’m a long time customer.

First time back in a long time not for any particular reason. Nice enough casual place, food and service were good. Booth chairs a little uncomfortable for my pref, otherwise good visit.

I take my mum here for lunch frequently. The food is always good and the service is even better. Very friendly staff
