I haven’t had a chance to stop by but ordering online is a breeze, great selection and super nice lady (Jann).

I wanted to experience my first monthly yarn subscription box. I came across this site when I was researching Canadian companies that offered this service. I was joyed to see that they were very decently priced. On their main page, there is a description box about the monthly yarn club that says it will include the yarn, pattern, and needles or hooks. When you click on that box it takes you further about the monthly club. In there, again, it says that each month the member would receive a yarn, a pattern and now a mystery add-on. I assumed the third item would be a mystery add-on or the needles or hooks, either way I thought I was going to get either or and I would have been happy about it.
When I opened the box I received today, I got a wonderful letter by Jann, four winter patterns (it’s spring season now), and rainbow yarn (Cascade Yarns Anthem Rondo). I did not receive the mystery add-on or the needles or hooks as stated in their descriptions. I paid $25 for this.
I give two stars because I found the staff to be very caring and friendly, however, what I received in my monthly box was not worth $25! I could have found these patterns online for free and gone out to buy the same yarn or similar for much less.
I am not too happy about my purchase and I will not continue with my monthly subscriptions with The Wool Queen.

Wonderful for sock needles online at a very good price. Plus if you live in SW Ontario mail order is pretty quick.

I have had a terrific experience from " the Wool Queen" Hope someday to get out to the store to meet her and see the shop. Thanks again

Bought a swift umbrella not too long ago. Chose the pickup option. The piece is beautiful and I can't wait to use it. Staff are friendly and very helpful!

Found this shop a while ago and finally had a chance to stop in. Met Jan.she's awesome. Massive amounts of yarns.soooo much yarn.sooo many project's. Jan is very l knowledgeable I can see that I will def be spending a lot of $$ here. Love to support local businesses!

This place has a lot of different things for knitting and a few things for crocheting.not bad.lol.

Jann is great to work with. Prices are reasonable. You can even do special orders for some yarns. I get things shipped and never have a problem

The customer service and care is phenomenal. I'm so glad I decided to check out this little shop. Dont let the size of the store fool you, she has A LOT of amazing yarn and tools! I'm going to be a regular. The owner is also so great answering questions and helping with my projects.

The lady at the store was suuuuuper nice and really helpful! The store is very cozy and there are a ton of different options of wool at really good prices. I will be going there again once I run out of the wool I got. The only thing I would suggest is getting metal crochet hooks, there may have been some there and I didn’t seem them but I broke the plastic one within an hour of using it.my own fault! Amazing store 10/10 would for sure suggest!
