The WORKS Craft Burgers & Beer

Super great dining experience with themed decor and seasonal decorations. I love building my custom burgers here and they’re always willing to make whatever weird combos I come up with. The sweet potato fries from here are also great!

I recently placed an order ron UberEATS. The works has always been my favourite burger place in town. Not after this meal. Now I admit, I had 3 substitutions, stuff like switching the types of cheese. But when my order arrived cold, I was still willing to eat it. Might not have been their fault for delivery time. I opened my get baked poutine and although I asked for no gravy (I subbed jalepenos which also did not come), they also took it upon themselves to forget the cheese.

I sighed and moved onto the burger, I had ordered the tragically maple. It's in the name, but there was no maple bacon jam on my burger. Not only that but instead of 3 pieces of bacon, as stated on the menu, there were 2 tiny ones. The burger was completely burnt on the outside while the inside was still so pink. I know the works typically cooks thier burgers to a medium pink inside, but this was black and overcooked on the outside and pink and severely undercooked on the inside.

It's safe to say this has completely ruined my love for the restaurant which is so disappointing.

Good burgers but service is very poor. We've been twice, both times weeknights around 6. Place was not very full, almost empty. They only had one waitress. Took 25 min for us to get our drinks. 4 of us. The fifth person didn't get drink until 5 minutes after entrees came. Burgers took 40 min. At that point we were told our appetizer was sold out. Odd that we weren't told sooner. But then just as we were finishing our dinner the waitress came out with the appetizer. I actually felt bad for her. But I can not go back after that.

The service was okay. They still focus on uber more than in person. I don't like how they put your salad on top of a sheet of paper. It gets mushy and you have to careful not to eat any. Loss the paper folks.

Carter the waiter was discriminating and rude, washrooms was really dirty, food quality was really bad, and the manager is not able to run this place. I feel sorry for the owner of this franchise. I will report this to the authority for the discrimination I have received in this restaurant.

First and last time I'm going to this location. Waitress dropped my food, on accident. Manager didn't come to apologize or anything either. Received my meal by the time the rest of my table finished their food, maybe try prioritizing the meal y'all messed up before jumping to others. They forgot to place an onion ring on the burger, waitress ended up bringing a tray with a single onion ring on it. Got 50% off my meal, but just terrible service and they barely cared that my food was dropped and I had to wait.

My partner and I enjoyed a good dinner last night, although they were busy there was good service, food came out at a reasonable time. They also has Halloween candy!
Great service and good music.
Lights are a bit bright but our server kindly dimmed them for us.
Would recoment going during the week for a more quiet experience.

Great food, server was over whelmed had to many tables and she was the only one on, so it made service slow but other then that she was good.

Not overly thrilled. My bun was tough and my husband's fries weren't really hot at all. Lack Lustre. When I brought up to my server what my bun was like, I don't know if he was new, but he just said basically that he'd let the kitchen know and sorry. There was no effort to at least offer to have my sandwich remade. I still ended up paying for a sandwich that wasn't good. I ate what I could as I was famished but can't say I would go back. There were other faux pas but I'll digress.

We expected more. The flavor was not the wow that I imagined. I asked for water and never got it. Our French fries were cold and the waiter were all in the kitchen and nobody helping the guesses. No bad, but.

Went here twice, the last time we had to call in because we were going to come in 20 minutes before closing. The waitress was super nice and understanding with our order and didn’t rush us when we got there.

Points up also for variety of topping options, they have something for everyone.

Menu might seem confusing the first time you come here but food is fresh and comes quick.

Definitely satisfied my burger craving. Order #9- Heaven on earth with the waygu beef, with the fry chips and both were delicious! Would come back, soooo many burger options to choose from.

I went to dinner here last night for the first time. What a great menu and great service. I really enjoyed the poutine "The Brisket Case" and also the burger was amazing, "Magic Mushroom Melt". I am definitely going back again!

OMG so good. We ordered the Brie burger, Blues burger and the cheddar stuffed. Love the spicy chips. I can't believe we ate absolutely everything

Great service, they took my favourite burger off the menu so I tried a new one and it wasn’t bad…it was just a bit dry. Have a really great house drink! Great spot.

The food is awesome but prepare for bad service. Long wait times even before COVId and now it’s even worse. The server just disappears and you even have to wait for a check. Been there multiple times. Loved the food but never had good service. It’s a shame.

Slow. But can beer was ok
We had to wait for our order way too long than anticipated and after all one order was wrong and the other was missing items. The beer selection was better than the food. Hopefully next time they’ll do better.

We were there late evening as all patios we packed but we still ended up ordering a take out. Burgers were juicy and tasty. But their menu is very messy and hard to come to conclusion to order without any help. Lucky manager was kind and knowledgeable to help us through. Craft burgers are way to go. Two thumbs up.

The staff here were amazingly kind and welcoming! Food was fantastic as always, only issue is how it was presented in the box. It was a bit messy but I understand probably the best they can do with takeout.

Burgers on your mind this is the place to head out to. Unmatched taste, Amazing variety and an awesome ambience puts this place on the top of the list as my preferred place.
Icing on the cake was meeting the owners who were kind enough to personalize according to taste.

Will visit again for sure!

Went to The Works when they first opened in Oakville, years ago. Great experience. Was excited they opened up in Port Credit. Went there several times and each time was not the best experience. I like to give a place a few tries before writing them off. Used take out and unfortunately, the food was terrible. My turkey burger was burnt. The other burgers were small, especially considering the price. Service was terrible. When I returned the next day to let them know, the person I spoke with who said she was the manager, was very rude and had an attitude. I will NEVER recommend The Works. I had to give it one star in order to be able to post, even though it gets Zero stars from me,

Not a place for me to frequent regularly due to the prices, however they have an amazing selection of burgers to choose from and you get a lot of food for your money. You won't leave here hungry, that's for sure!

Well something went horribly wrong. I ordered a couple of burgers, sides and shakes from this place through UBER Eats. One driver was dispatched, appeared to be waiting for my food order at the restaurant well after my order was placed, then after waiting at the restaurant for quite a while, just disappeared.

Another driver was dispatched, with delivery delayed another 20 minutes or so. This was not looking good.

The food showed up just after UBER’s latest delivery time stone cold. All of it.

As a bonus, the ice cold burgers were burned.

As a plus, the milkshake was ok

Has to be one of the worst take out experiences we have ever had.
Burger was raw and missing items. Bacon was over cooked and food arrived cold. (Though this might be the skip drivers fault).

Will never order from here again.

Really disappointed. We love going to the Works (their poutines are the best) so on December 29, we placed an order for pick up near closing hours but it was placed so assumed everything was all good. Drove out there to pick up our order only to realize they were closed. It hadn’t gone through my credit card yet so we just went home and accepted it just wasn’t meant to be for us that night. However, the next day without any contact.the charge was pending so we stopped by and asked them for assistance. Instead of offering a refund or even credit, they did not apologize for the inconvenience and instead told me to call my credit card to cancel the charge.like somehow it was my fault the order went through even though they decided to close up for the night? Now, the charge is no longer pending and actually went through so I’m $40 out and don’t really feel like sitting on the phone with my bank for an hour to sort this out. Very disappointed in my experience.

Great burgers! Other favorites are the spicy die-cut fries and the onion rings!
Prices are little higher but worth it.
Burger meal for 3 was close to $70 take-out with no drinks, but like I said worth it as food was yummy!

Horrible burger, and horrible fries. I have ordered a take out, waited for 10-15 minfor the order to be made, the burger was soggy and fries were stale and cold. Will never order again

Loved it. Freshly made ground beef cooked perfectly. The flavour is awesome and the service was excellent. Clean, affordable, delicious. They are my go-to burger place whenever we are in the area! Love their extensive menu

This establishment was really accommodating at the end of the night. The staff and management are some of the best in the industry. Fast, polite and welcoming!

Very accommodating to our big group, especially in the evening when other places were busy. Definitely recommend this spot!

Terrible Service and staff are not following COVID protocols. Came for a late lunch by myself with only 5 other tables being served at that time. Ordered a beer and burger, the beer was not served to me until AFTER I was finished my entire meal. Had to ask for cutlery and napkins after my food was already on the table for 5 minutes. As well side condiments were not brought to the table after asking twice. Staff were also not wearing masks from a quick look to the back of the restaurant and would have them down when talking to each other closer than 6 feet.

Disappointed all together.
This was a little treat for us but it was not up to par.
Burger was average even considering the time for delivery.
The veggies side was a joke!

Best burgers in town. Great spot for gourmet burgers with friendly and efficiently service. Patties/ meats are very fresh with a great variety of fresh topping. Some really yummy sauces too.

The staff is incredibly kind and accommodating, very customer-friendly. The burgers were delicious and full of flavour, well worth the price. Would definitely recommend, and i am certainly coming back for more.

Their service was good, however the pig popper burger was horrible, it was dry and spicy. There was no sauce on the burger and the patty was crumbling apart. I paid 20$ and didnt even take it home because it was so bad.

I had the Juicy Lucy Buerguer before and we got (my wife and i) the same at this location and the cheese was not runny the meat was not really juicy enough was a but stiff. I had this burger at another location and it was fabulous the cheese was runny the burger was super juicy. I don't think I would go back to this location also my wife had a caeser salad there was hardly any dressing again at the other location was more dressing and for this side you have to pay an extra $2.

Very disappointed the waitress kept talking about her personal life with other staff members -very boring and selfish to complain constantly, food was ok minus a few missing toppings and lots of illcooked meats. Tastes ok not spectacular by any means. Came with a party and was unexpectedly charged a tip on bill which our very rude waitress omitted telling us. (Didn’t notice until leaving or would have spoke. To management) wWhy should I be forced to tip without warning? Totally unfair and my party shall never return to any of these locations. I reserve rights to decide if this lady deserves tip or not I found her attire very inappropriate as well! Her white mask kept slipping off her face and noticed other staff Not wearing masks! The burgers are great and there are so many options. Different meats (or veggy burger) options and countless topping choices. I've never had a bad burger here. My only complaint would be the kids meal, my little guys KD was super dry and looked like it had been sitting all day. Next time I'll get him a burger.

I wanted to give this place 2.5 stars but all I could do was 2 or 3. I didn't dislike it as much as I was sort of happier about the experience when I left.
