The WORKS Craft Burgers & Beer

As a group we are in Ottawa from BC for a week for a national curling championship. A friend from home recommended we check this place out. We are glad we did. Right from phoning in a last min reservation for 15 we were treated great. Tim and his staff are top notch! Rave reviews from our whole group. From the burgers, shakes and fries everything was fresh and served quickly. The kids loved that the water glasses were measuring cups. We may stop by again before we go home. Definitely worth checking out.

Excellent, great variety of burgers, you can make all kinds of possible combinations according to your taste and the truth is you will be super satisfied. Mega recommended

I have visited this restaurant on four occasions and highly recommend trying their burgers and onion rings. The servers were awesome, especially Cassandra was incredibly kind, polite, and patient, enhancing the overall dining experience.

The worst service, we did not receive menus let alone any service after waiting 20 minutes on a very quiet afternoon, where the restaurant was pretty well empty.

The whole group overall enjoyed their food. But I was surprised to see they didn’t have a lot of vegetarian options in terms of the patty. They had a “beyond meat” version of a patty which is not my favorite as a vegetarian as I don’t prefer the taste of meat. A suggestion could be to make a patty of beans and/or mushrooms.

The drink “partea” was delicious and would recommend.

Went out for a birthday dinner. Took a good 30 min to get our food. One burger was way overcooked and the gluten free bun was so dry and crumbly, we had to take it off to eat it.
The two other burgers with the cheese stuff patty was almost raw.gave the food a 2 star because the onion rings were good and so were bacon wrapped cheese balls.

I went here to get lunch for me and a friend. They were very accommodating for Gluten Free eaters Cassie or Cassandra was my server and she was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, fun and professional. Would definitely love to go here again.

I'm expecting to update my rating soon as the supervisor did hear us out and apologized for what went wrong. This is what went wrong:
-New waiter not so diligent
-Sticky, rocky table by the service room
-Food took 45min
-Burger patty badly burned
We may go back and give this business a new try. I'm sure they can do better.

Got an off-menu milkshake that was super delicious: Oreo, coffee, whipped cream, and chocolate syrup (our server called it the Tiramisu). It was awesome! A great indulgent night out.

Hamburger et frites délicieux! Notre serveur (peut-être que c'était le gérant?) était très sympathique. Service rapide et agréable même si nos deux langues maternelles étaient différentes. A1

I give this restaurant a solid five stars for both the food quality and the exceptional service. It's a must-visit for burger lovers!

Shoutout to the Manager, Tim! Our special needs groups have been coming here for Years. The service is fantastic for our teens who need a bit more patience and time to order, pay for food. Tim is phenomenal, always welcoming, friendly and helpful. Food was good; the less-than-perfect review reflects the service. Ordered online from the Works website. Only reason we decided to order from the Works was because we had a two-for-one coupon. It had no number so we could not claim the coupon through the online order. At pick-up, we were told there was no way to honour the coupon at that time. We were shocked that (i) the Works provides coupons without coupon numbers; (ii) their computer system is so inflexible that it can't deal with this shortcoming at pick-up; (iii) neither the server nor her manager could figure out a work-around; and (iv) we were offered nothing in compensation other than a coupon for a free milkshake at our next visit. On top of all that, when we got home and opened the order, it was missing the dipping sauces that we had ordered. *** Update - the manager just called me (even before he had seen this review), apologised, explained the limitations on their systems, and offered me additional coupons for future visits. Gotta give credit for the follow-up, so I upgraded the review to three stars ***
