Love the Wren. Great location, always had great service, they seem to always have great food specials too - but everytime I’ve been here with friends we find the fries are always soooooo salty.

Had about a 20min wait to sit at the bar. It was worth the wait. Service was great food came quick. I'll be back:)

You never know what to expect as the menu changes every time we go here but every time has been amazing food and great selection of beers to boot.

Went here with a few family members for a drink. The selection of beers was very nice and the wait staff was excellent. The family seemed to really like the beers on tap, which were mainly local selections. The menu looked pretty good but we were all full so no food for us.

A great local restaurant. Food is always amazing here. They lose a star because it's impossible to find a menu online and they don't answer the phone but aside from some minor management issues it's one of my favorite restaurants in the east end.

Had a great cider at the wren recently! The service was great and will certainly return. I also had the fish tacos which were good but very messy. A 2nd corn tortilla might help keep them together. Friends also had the wings and loved them.

Had one of their weekly special burgers. One of the best burgers I've had!

Update. Years later, still one of the best burgers in the city. They have a burger special every week, which is always worth getting. That said, all their dishes are amazing and also includes some great vegetarian options.

Think I found a new favourite east end spot. Daily food specials, great on tap selection. Been twice, planning on going back very soon.

Pricey food ($20+ burgers)

Went for weekend lunch with a friend. Hostesses are super friendly. The Beef dip sandwich was delicious. And the Margaritas were amazing!

Hands down best fries in the city. If nothing else comes here for those and a drink. But honestly the chicken sandwich, which is constantly changing, is one of my favs. Daily specials that never cease to impress, keep this place feeling fresh every time you visit!

Favourite place! Always fantastic food and the staff are the best. Always a great roasting beer list - samples of you're not sure. Lucky it's in my neighborhood!

Great little local spot - food was better than most and cocktails delicious. Good local beers - Hidden local gem. Love the retro vibe. Wish I could keep this place secret.

Food - Absolutely incredible. I started coming here for their Burger Mondays (like it was religion!) but now they also do Vegetarian Tuesdays, Chicken Sandwich Wednesdays, and weekend brunch.

Their menu is well-curated fusion from so many different cultures - Americas (North, Central, South) meets Asia (Japanese, Korean, Indonesia, +). Burgers, sandwiches, tacos, bowls, and more. The fries and whatever magical seasoning they put on there are highly recommended but you can't go wrong with their salad either. There is a daily changing special you can see on their Instagram. The chocolate stout cake is delicious, moist, and not too rich or overly sweet.

They do rotating local craft beer on tap and a great liquor shelf for cocktails too. I think there's something for everyone here.

Service - The staff are fantastic, friendly, and efficient! They're very helpful if you're feeling indecisive (or just curious!), and can describe to you the menu items and drinks very well.

Parking/Location - Green P lots, Danforth, neighbourhood street parking. Between Coxwell and Greenwood TTC stations (few minutes walk from each). Very easy to find and get to.

Seating - Indoor and outdoor seating (Thanks CafeTO). Great for parties of 1-4, maybe up to 6 comfortably at the long harvest tables that are just shared seating. Super cosy atmosphere. Great for a casual date or solo. They don't take reservations but they are worth the wait! They are very popular at prime dinnertime (1900hrs).

I have been coming here now for over ten years. This is my absolute most favourite restaurant. It's truly a local gem run by very wholesome people.
