Amazing place, safe, well lit and protected from the elements. Daughter is doing group and private skate lessons and the staff are incredible, helped more than my daughters skating, also confidence. Recommended 100 times over if I could

The Yard is awesome! My son is blind and takes skateboarding lessons there every week with Jordan who is so patoent and good with all kids (especially those with special needs). It's been 18 months and he's progressed so well and become so confident!

The owner Anthony is a great guy who when he heard my son had gone blind during cancer and just wanted to skateboard, said, "Let's just get him back in the park and on his board again. " Their entire team is so positive and kind.

HI just to confirm what an astute reviewer had mentioned.this is a BUILDING and is NOT A YARD. There is literally no grass, or trees. I brought my chiwawa Barkley in and he pee'd on a hardened floor of some rock material, to then have a tall gentle man yell at us "DO NOT YES WE SEE DO NOT DO YOU UNDWRSTAND" Please rename your company, and mention the dog park is closed perhaps? Good day.

Ottawa is so lucky to have such an amazing indoor skatepark! They have so many nice sections including a pump track that makes the other cities jealous, an upstairs street section, an advanced section with a vert, and a bowl (pretty rare to find in Ottawa). In the summer, they also have an outdoor street section and mini ramp. It has an onsite store and a cafe area upstairs.

Not a great place if you are on a skateboard.small street section with little to skate, floor has been incredibly slippery each time ive gone causing you to fall when you might not have.very pricy when that upper section is the best part for skateboards, especially compared to the much larger, much higher quality parks in montreal which have full day rates for less.for me its not worth the money but its the only permanent indoor park in the city

Very small inside. At capacity it's chaos and you will have to line up for features such as the pump track. Probably better value for skateboarders and scooters, but at $25 plus tax it is disappointing for those on dirt jump bikes. More expensive then a comparable climbing gym which offers better value and price.

Not a bad skatepark *for scooters* pump track and vertical section are fun and enjoyed the outdoor part it’s just the prices are way to jacked 30$ to enter and they wanted to charge me 15$ alone to install grip tape it was obsered you are better off to go to le taz or something it’s cheaper to go there

Huge let down for the skateboard community of Ottawa. The bowl has a weird shape that basically ruins it, street section is too small, box jump section is not for skateboarders and the pump track is fun for about thirty minutes. At 30$ for a session, price is too high for what you get. A complete revamp of the bowl and box jump section and price reduction would be necessary for the yard to attract the majority of the skateboard community in Ottawa.

Great indoor pumptrack and street section. Rental bikes are well maintained and surprisingly high performance.

Awesome place, if you scooter or skate this is the place for you/your kids. Knowledgeable staff & techs. They have loads of safety measures in place to provide a safe environment for limited riders to ride. Try it today.

Son loves this place. Staff is super nice to him and always seems to encourage him and bring out the best of him.

The skate surface is slippery, but really solid and professionally built. Teaches you to land right and not sketch I guess. Lots of great obstacles for the size.

I love this skatepark but Its really tiny and expensive and also i would have loved a foam pit or a rezi

-Probably Best indoor skatepark in Canada.
-Not as good as Woodward Camp.

Awesome pump track with small jump line. Great with the kids to work on MTB skills. First time today, will be back for sure!

Amazing! No other words to describe the place. The atmosphere is great people are nice and the park is top notch! It would be nice to have more flat ground/ street but other than that the place is perfect

A veritable one stop shop for anyone interested in extreme sports, especially scooters and bikes. The Yard is attached to Airborne, which sells scooters and bikes - and it offers a variety of ramps and edges of differing difficulties for those who want to learn in a safe, convenient and climate-controlled setting. Knowledgeable, helpful staff with solid expertise and experience. I can't recommend The Yard more for young and old alike.
