Thompson House Restaurant & Pub

It was very loud, hard to conversate. With reservations, the table was dirty and unset. The food was great, and the service was good.

We visited the restaurant on a Saturday night, and I decided to order the perch with salad along with a peach palmer, while my partner opted for the cottage pie. Unfortunately, the peach palmer was quite disappointing. It tasted like a mixture of sprite and water, lacking the expected flavor. On the bright side, the perch was well-cooked and had a light breading, which added to its appeal. As for the cottage pie (or Shepherd's pie), it was definitely tasty and I would highly recommend giving it a try

I just went there to watch an NBA FINALS game, but I was TWO DAYS LATE! I either got the wrong information, or I got confused, since I was busy unpacking and getting settled into my new home. I was soooooo disappointed that my WARRIORS lost, and were OUT for the season! DAMN!

Wow! Good luck finding a better chicken sandwhich in the city. They really know what they're doing in the kitchen and wait staff was very polite and friendly. The entire service was excellent!

Stopped in for lunch and enjoyed the friendly staff and quiet atmosphere. We had the goat cheese with beet salad as well as the spinach dip and bread pudding. Would definitely stop in again for a relaxing bite to eat.

Thompson House is really awesome! Cosy and comfortable, with cool design and subdued lighting.numerous options for seating as well.

The drinks were great! The "Thompson Twist" cocktail was delicious and stunning to look at.

The food was extremely good! Amazing flavours in the loaded nachos and delicious burgers that I tried.

Excellent service! No long waits, quick orders, and kind service.

All in all, we had a great day at Thompson House! Delicious cuisine, scrumptious drinks, and a fun hangout. Only taking away a star because of the occasional noise. Look it up!

I have been to The Thompson House many times, but today lunch service was very disappointing! We waited for 1.30 min to receive our lunch. The restaurant seemed very understaffed, we all felt badly for the one waitress ; who had to manage the entire restaurant. Please make sure next time to have enough staff to handle the lunch patrons!

A solid option for a night out with friends. The upstairs area is my favourite place to sit!

Food was mediocre at best. Hamburger very well done. Shrimp and baguette.nothing interesting at all. 5$ upcharge on Caesar salad with hamburger over priced. Fruit salsa on fish tacos not appropriate and cabbage slaw was old and no dressing.

Pls needs a freshen up also for sure

Friendly atmosphere, great waitress. Food was excellent, we started with the deep fried pickles in beer batter and I had the Thompson house burger which was delicious and my wife had the panko chicken burger, which was messy but good also. Good beer selection too.

Found this place one night when I was exploring Windsor.looking around for a place. I drove past it and doubled back. It is a great destination for a British pub in our backyard.

I had the Halibut fish & chips.a great meal.

Loved the Halibut, huge portions. The new dessert menu is amazing.
I would go back just for the bourbon pecan cheesecake.

We came here based on word of mouth. What a cool place, good menu, and most importantly great food. It was quiet when we arrived, but filled up quickly.

They had a few burgers on special. Everything came out hot, and presented well. The food was excellent with large portions. They have plenty of onsite parking.

I'd recommend not eating here. My food was cold and had the strangest unappetizing flavor. The atmosphere is nice but that's where it ends. Everything is 20% overpriced and the food quality is just terrible. I literally feel sick after ordering the Mac n Cheese

Great pub.the Canadian Junior Hockey Gold Medal Game was on. Great atmosphere. We had the wood oven pizza and Irish Nachos (a type of poutine). Everything was yummy.
