Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with this clinic. I originally had an appointment when there were still mask mandates, and I showed up for my appointment only to be kicked out of the clinic because they would not honour a doctor's note I had stating that I cannot wear a mask, and asking to substitute with a face shield instead. So when the mask mandates ended, I rebooked a new appointment, but unfortunately had to reschedule. When I tried to reschedule they were rude with me. And told me that since I had changed things around a couple times before (I didn't, they did) that this will be my last opportunity, they would tell my family doctor to find another specialist to refer me to. I am disabled with Parkinson's disease and I don't think I was treated very fairly by this clinic.

It is the castle of horrors. I was treated by a pale doctor who looked like Count Dracula. Before entering the consultation to assess the possibilities of undergoing liposuction, they forced us to take a covid test rectally, which caused my wife's pile to explode from the scratch they gave her. I'm going to report the property for being gross. In addition, it smelled of alcohol and not exactly that of curing. Tremendous.

Paid for parking. I am a patient at the clinic, though my doctor isn't available for weeks. Waited until the adult walk in clinic was open, went in and was turned away because I am a patient of the clinic and told to come when the after hours clinic was open. I have small children. After hours does not work for me. What kind of office turns you away when there was literally no one there? Ridiculous and extremely frustrating.

Reception workers did not wear masks but saw that I wore mine and put one on. With a waiting room full of the freshest new babies it just seems like a no Brainer

Found out this morning that this location is no longer a walk-in clinic. The other location on Grosvernor (?) is apparently, however, it is 20 minutes away, one way. This city is hurting for reliable walk-in clinics, and actual family doctors as a whole. Costs money to drive around searching, only to come up empty. Pardon the pun. Have a terrific day!

Very clean, masks available for free. I got right in to see the Dr Vladars and he was super kind and informative. Painless procedure and would definitely recommend him to others!

Doctors & nurses are amazing, but the receptionists are terrible, I called the clinic this morning twice & in the middle of the conversation she hung-up the phone!
That happened twice to me this morning, if that was un-intentional mistake, then she could call me back cuz she has my full info.but she didn’t! The receptionists are always not cooperative & always show dis-respect to the patients! I’m rating 1 star & going to escalate this issue to the in-charge person.

The receptionists at this clinic are every efficient and kind. They go above and beyond to accommodate while scheduling and rescheduling appointments. Highly recommend this clinic!

Amazing place! The staff at 130 Thompson rd tmc was just amazing and very helpful. I met the manager and she was extremely compassionate and helpful! Highly recommend.

If I could give less than a one star review, I would. Terrible admin. My partner just drove to London, was told to that they sent him to the wrong location and to drive to their other location across London. So he did, and then they told him when he got there that they made a mistake at the other location and to drive back across town. He drove back to the other location just to be told that they can’t fit him in again until 3 - after a mistake that they originally made. My partner informed them that he can’t be back for 3 due to another apt and they offered no solution- just said that they couldn’t fit him in until 3. My partner booked the apt for 11am for a reason, not 3pm. Will never go here or recommend this place to anyone around.

Hi! I spoke with Dr. Goldie and I'm trying to follow back up to make the appointment. Dr. Goldie does not show up in the list to book an online appointment for either location, and when I call in there is no way to get past the voice in order to speak to anyone. I have tried several times. Can you please help me? How can I book the appointment if I cannot talk to anyone and his name isn't in the list to book appointments with?

I absolutely love doctor Toft and his secretaries. All of them are beyond helpful and kind. It doesn't matter if you feel like you have a silly question or something important, they all treat you with amazing kindness.
I have seen a lot of doctors in my life and Doctor Toft is one of the nicest ones I've ever met. He seems to run on time and he never rushes you out the door. He takes all of your thoughts about what's happening into consideration and in my opinion I feel a lot of doctors don't.
I do wish she was in Saint Thomas as I don't drive so that's the only bummer but I'm definitely not going to any other dermatologist because as I said he and his secretaries are just amazing

Our family doctor is at TMC Hydepark. We're super happy with him. No complaints.

We've been getting emails saying they have opened a pediatric walkin clinic. We thought this was great!

my 11 month old gets diarrhea for over a week and a fever for a night. We treat him with Tylenol and fever goes away but diarrhea remains. Since I'm a close contact and work at the hospital I get PCR tested (Negative) and rapid test my wife (Negative) and Son (negative x2 24hrs apart). We wait a couple days to see if he gets better and he doesn't. My son begins to seem like he is in discomfort/pain. We decided to bring him into the walkin clinic we keep getting emails about.

They wont see my son. They turn my wife and child away. Can't make an appointment with family doctor for a couple days. WHATS THE POINT OF THE WALKIN CLINIC? !? Now my wife will have to take my son to the emerge and jam up the hospital system even more. Great job TMC.

The doctors and nurses I have seen are wonderful, no complaints there, they really are great to work with which is why we stay with TMC. Giving only 2 stars though because the admin support/ front desk service is truly terrible and it can be quite difficult to actually get an appointment.

I have been given misinformation numerous times. When my GP was on maternity leave I tried booking a regular check up for my infant and was told there wasn't anyone filling in for my doctor at the time and they couldn't book any appointments in advance for when she would be returning. I was told to call back in 2 months to book an appointment as my doctor would be back to work then. So my son's immunization was put off. When I called back to book the appointment I was told that my doctor had actually already been back to work for almost a month and was already fully booked ahead several weeks so we had to wait even longer. Also, when booking check up appointments for my children who were supposed to be getting immunizations I have been scheduled a few times on days when our doctor is only taking virtual appointments. Not sure how the people booking the appointments expected the shots to be administered on a day when we couldn't come into the clinic for our appointment. I always have to ask now if they are booking us for a day when our doctor is actually seeing patients in person.

More recently I tried to make an appointment and was told that the next available time was one that could not be booked in advance, it was a spot reserved for same day call ins. I was told to call first thing that morning and I would be scheduled in for that same day. I called at the time I was told to call, first thing, and was told that the day was fully booked. When I asked about the same day appointment that was supposed to be available I was told "no, somebody already filled it even though they weren't supposed to".

None of the administrative staff seem to be on the same page, very frustrating as a parent trying to keep my kids check ups on schedule, trying to get care for them when more serious unforeseen issues come up is challenging. I've ended up using virtual walk in clinics during the pandemic as they have been more reliable. Again, if my GP wasn't so good I would definitely be looking elsewhere.

Only posting this review in the hopes that whoever handles the admin staffing will look into better training, more support or hiring more competent staff, not sure what the issue is but it makes the patient experience pretty negative.

Nowadays you can judge the value of a walk in clinic by whether or not it stays open during lockdown. If it doesn't it was deemed so unimportant by those that run it, that it wasn't deemed an essential service. Apparently this facility feels that the only people worthy of medical assistance are people rich/dumb enough to waste money on luxury's like phone numbers, who are also awake during 9AM-1PM. So no night workers who are asleep during that time, they're not worth seeing.

The reception desk is horrible. 3 hours to get through. All I get is a busy signal or leave a message and they don't return it within 24 hours like they say. My dr is great but this is totally unacceptable. It's been like this for a long time.
Update. Since then, things seem to be improving now.

I want to let people aware that this office has treated me horribly over the past few months. If you call and expect anyone to answer you're kidding yourself. Also when you leave a message (I have left 7 in total) your calls will not be returned at all. Today I had to phisically go to the office. Once I walked in the lobby I was stopped and told I was not allowed to speak to anyone in the offices unless I had an appointment (which I was not able to make because nobody answered calls or returned messages even when I said that I needed my diabetic medications renewed).

I calmly explained my situation and was handed a paper saying that myself and hundreds of other patients no longer have a family doctor due to the doctor's hired not wanting to practice anymore. This was the first I had heard of it and did not receive any calls, letters or emails making me aware of these changes.

I employee you to find a different company for your healthcare as this place has completely failed me.

It used to be a great clinic. The nurses and my dr were great My relationship with my family dr broke down as reception would "lose" letters that were handed directly to them and my family dr would be unable to review them. They never answered the phones when I needed to cancel an appointment and they thought it was appropriate when I wanted to talk about surgery with MY dr to switch the appointed to a dr that I had never met before. I can't get through to them to send my medical records to my new dr. It has been 2 months of calls and visits to try and get them and nothing.

Very disorganized system. Poor response. I am trying to book an appointment with my child for more than two weeks but I could not. I tried to contact them many times but I could not reach them. I left them a voice mail message one week ago but there was no response yet. I went to their building, but I could not reach the office. At the building entrance, one of their staff told me that I could not enter the building to book an appointment and I should book online. I tried to book online, but I could not because I could not find my family doctor's name on the list.

I would have given 5 stars but I expirence the worst customer service ever by Stephenie she is the most rude and disrespectful person I have ever come across in my entire life she rolled her eyes when I said hello, and put her hand up to me when I tried to speak. She is not only the most rude and disrespectful person I have ever come across she is completely stupid I asked her when the next appointment would be and she said I dont know you can figure it out. FIGURE IT OUT are you serious. I would rather die than have to even speak or look at Stephanie again.

My son has behavioral issues and had a behavioral pediatrician. He went through madame vanier for therapy and was medicated for 2 years. His behavior pediatrician told us at our last visit 2 years ago that because he was off medication and doing well that he did not need to see him again unpess he started having more behavioral problems. Fast forward to a month ago my son started experiencing more behavioral issues. I contacted his behavioral pediatrician. No answer left message. No response. A week later i followed up, no answer no response. Friday oct 23 i called again, got an answer. Was told over the phone that since it had been more than a year i may need a new referral. What? No one told me this. I was told directly from the doctor that my son was his patient. That he did not need to see him unless he started experiencing more problems. Now when more problems have presented he is not his patient anymore! If i wad told that he would beed to visit atleasy once a year to be kept as a patient he would have been thete every 6 months, my child experiencing issues and no one to talk to no one at least he had a doctor, but no he had no doctor now! And the way i was told and the amount if time i waited and persisted on a response and i get treated like garbage are you kidding me! This is unprofessional, unpleasant and unethical of a doctor to do to a patient! His doctor, Dr. Samim Al-Qadhi – Pediatrician at Thompson Medical clinic hyde park London Ontario.

The one doctor I had there wouldn't let me speak he acted like what I said didn't matter. When trying to book appointments they would tell you they will call you back and not call your for days and phone appointments went horrible as they did not call at all that day.

On a scale of 1-5 this place doesn't rate. Horrible from the lack of motivation at reception desk to doctors that perpetually run late or do not return calls for virtual appointment. (I have a different doctor than my husband at Thompson). Getting a simple prescription for Levothyroxine (Thyroid) always seems to come with drama. Management here is no help either. Very condescending & rude.

IMHO this medical centre is poorly run and lacks organization. Hopefully my old doctor, who is over an hour away, can take me & my husband back.

The only thing that made me register here was Dr. Alquadhi, the pedictrician, I got a good review about him and every word is true. And you get a free parking there.
But other than that the clinic runs late everytime, sometimes even 4/5 hours, moreover the staffs are quite rude and just careless about patients. They are always busy never calls back after a voicemail. Most of the times they dont pick up calls. The only excuse they have is “we are busy”, they should learn multitasking, not only doing one work at a time in a slow pace.

It is almost impossible make an appointment with these doctors. No one answers the phones. No ability to leave a voice mail. Online booking is almost impossible. You need to drive there and leave a post it note on the door of the clinic. Unbelievable.

Had an appointment with Dr Velker at 245 pm. It is 4: 20 and I am still waiting, god knows when she’ll see me. The waiting time it is just ridiculous. Why do we even make an appointment for? It is actually disrespectful for patients that have to wait for hours and basically book the afternoon off. To me a 2 HR waiting it’s unacceptable.

Dr. Rahal and the team at TMC+ are professional, courteous and friendly. The faciliies and their equipment are modern and their practices are efficient. Ive met several doctors and an Specialist (on prem). Thanks for your time. Have always felt like my health is in good hands. Big shout-out to the Staff at the front reception, and handling the phones: Your jobs not easy but you do it with a smile! Thank you.

Was able to see a male dr without waiting. Explained I was prone to UTIs and had MS. I was in severe pain and had to book off flying as I was doubled over in pain and the pressurization did me in. He told me I had to wait several days for tests to come back and he wouldn’t write me a note for work while I waited days to PROOVE I HAD A UTI. Worst experience. Walked out of there, went DIRECTLY to a clinic with a female Dr and was tested, given antibiotics and pain medicine. She also noted I had a fever and it was a bladder infection. Wrote me a note to rest for two days until the medicine could kick in. Waste of tax dollars, waste of a Drs power and to allow someone to be doubled over in pain crying AND NOT WRITE A NOTE OR GIVE MEDICINE YOUR ETHICS SHOULD BE QUESTIONED. Funny how 2 hours later, a female dr ran 2 tests and gave two medicines in a note. A week later the male Dr from this TMC clinic called to tell me I had a bladder infection! No $&$&! Pathetic we treat people who are looking to get better like this. I wasn’t asking for narcotics or questions that were above a family Dr and for my MS neurologist. When I told my MS Dr she was confused that this “family Dr” didn’t know MS patients have issues with UTI and bladder infections. Waste of time and tax payers money. Walked out of there and went to the urgent care at hospital. Don’t waste your time. A week later he calls to tell me I was right I have a UTI! Ummmmm thanks Sherlock!

Doctor promised to fax script direct to my shoppers as I am from out of town. Unable to reach clinic and script cannot be found at any my local shoppers. As I struggle to breathe everynight. Never coming back here

TMC helped me through one of the scariest moments of my life. First panic attack I drove to this medical centre for the first time, and they treated me with the utmost respect and consideration. It was because of their professional and caring attitude that day that really helped to slowly bring me out of the panic attack. Thank you TMC for making an initial scary experience for me into one of the most blessed days to realize that there are many people out there that care for people, their job, and really want to genuinely help you, and make sure you are ok.

I didn't think there was a good walk in clinic in london. I've been going to walk ins for years and have had the same terrible experiences. Long wait times and terrible, rude, condescending doctors. I had 6 people in front of me and was in within half an hour. The environment inside is beautiful, very comfortable. The doctor was so, so friendly, listened to me and made me feel taken care of. I'll never go to any other clinic again. Plus they're open early! Thank you so much!

I have a family doctor here and they only seem to be reactive not proactive. I joined them after 8 years of not having a doctor I'm over 50 and diabetic and I never get asked to come in to get checked out for blood or anything like that I guess it's up to us nowadays to do that sort of thing. My old doctor used to call me in regularly like every six months or so to get my blood checked out but I just those ways are gone.

I would have given a negative 5 star rating if possible.
I wouldn't recommend this clinic to a road killed raccoon.

I am rating poor once there should state somewhere that the extended hours is only for family doctors, that by the way is not accepting new patients. I just waste my time going there. If you are walk in it's only until 5pm.

I have nothing but good experiences since I switched to Dr Lau. Compentant, caring and friendly staff. Great wait times. Beautiful, modern well kept facility.
