Thonburi Thai Food aka The Siamese Gecko

Honestly the Thai food here is fantastic. I'm super glad it's around here and hope it stays. I'd recommend the Pad Thonburi for anyone who likes Pad Thai.

The food, service and atmosphere are all outstanding! The green Thai curry and mango salad were delicious. One of the best Thai curry I’ve ever had. Thanks for the great exeprience!

This food tastes like healthy candy from God. The flavour, dishes, price, people are so amazing you will probably order it again the next day for breakfast lunch and dinner, it's just too good - I don't understand this wizardry but I believe in magic now. The red curry chicken 30b is my favorite and the spring rolls should be winning awards.
So happy about the new location too!

The food here is amazing. I literally had to restrain myself from finishing my Beef Pad Thai to save it and eat it later. I miss the food I ate as I type this review. Do yourself a favor and come eat here.

Absolutely amazing Thai food! We aren't from the area and have been trying alot of Thai restaurants whenever we travel and this was by far one of the best one we've had! Can't wait to come back service was great and the restaurant was lovely! Don't have to worry about left overs here you'll be cleaning your plate for sure!

We placed a large order for 11 for takeout and received extremely good service. The order was accurate and each dish labelled. We'll definitely be back.

The bill is deceptive. Gratitude was already added to the bill without it mentioned or written on the bill. On choice was given for the %. Very very tricky! （-_-）

As for the food, beef and chicken are very very dry. Basically jerky in soupy. Favour is over the top some dishes are too salty. Portion is good.

Very delicious authentic Thai food. They do not take credit here but the food is very good and the portions are very large.

Great alternative to the Blue Mountain Village if you want some something quick and good at a reasonable price.

Oh my gosh what an amazing place. The staff.and especially the main hostess are sooo friendly and fun. I had #28 Gang Masaman.so flavorful! Had Jasmine tea and the spring rolls. Overall super delicious. We came on live music Tuesday night.what a blast! Totally recommend!

Simply put, the best Thai food in town. A must try is their papaya salad, spring rolls, pad Thai & my favourite #23-1. Plus everyone that works there is an absolute pleasure!

The most accurate representation of the food that wowed me when I visited Thailand. A studied chef, and her daughter clearly understands customer service. This north Ontario town is lucky to have them cooking nearby. Kahpkunkahp. Don't miss it.

My family and I are SO happy to find such a delicious and friendly restaurant while on vacation. The food is outstanding. Also the restaurant is very attentive to celiacs and those with allergies. 10/10. Don't miss this gem. The ambience is bright, sunny and inviting.

While on a business trip we decided to come and eat here. The previous reviews didn't disappoint: the food was excellent, service was fast and price was reasonable. And it looks like we lucked out with live entertainment! The band was great and the visiting lady from Florida had a great voice. We might return for more good food.

I mean.what? It was the most delicious food I have had in a while. Mo, was the best hostess, server and everything else. Her energy was just amazing and so positive. Her little brother was amazing in making sure no one felt ignored. Food was like burst of flavors in your mouth. Not one thing was lacking. My new go to place when I am in blue mountain/ Collingwood. We were 13 of us and every single one of us were super happy after our meal. Thank you Mo, your brother and your mom for cooking such an amazing meal!

Very authentic Thai food, great host and quaint little place. I had their Tom yum soup + side of noodles, taste amazing!

Came to Blue Mountain for a mini retreat and stumbled upon this gem - the Thonbury Pad Thai dish was delicious, tasty and their service was lightening fast. Highly recommended. Will definitely come back! Thank you for the incredible service!

Service is top notched, very friendly. The food used to be very good and authentic few years back but this last visit just a bit disappointing. The chicken in the noodle is dry and plain - not marinated, noodle is tough. I think they could have done better.

Food was subpar, at similar level as establishments in the Village. Prices are fair, service was ok.

Hands down one of the best Thai places I have been to in a very long time. I would highly recommend making this a dinner stop if you are in town for only a few nights.

Tried Pad Thai, Kow Pad and Desert Beaver Tail. Qualiy n Quantity of food was awesome. I have never had such a good Thai food. Customer service was excellent. I really recommend to visit this place and enjoy the food.

Wow the price point for the delicious flavourful foods was wonderful! No reservations…. Accommodating for larger groups…. And for anyone who has gluten intolerances or celiac…the food and beverages (ciders) are gluten free…only disadvantage is the hours so bring your appetite and get out to eat early to enjoy!

After a good swim in the lake, we were all hungry and were looking to eat good spicy food. We picked up this place reading the review. I ordered Thai Chicken fried rice, it was perfectly done and the quantity was right size. Will dine in once all is open.

I ordered a vegan North American Style Pad-Thai with Tofu as takeout and it was delicious! Very flavourful. It had a nice, large portion size and the staff were very friendly. I'll be going back more often!

Neat little family run restaurant with authentic Thai flavouring, did not expect this in Collingwood. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Will return again next time I'm in the blue mountain area

We recently discovered this great restaurant: the prices are very reasonable; the ordering process quick and easy; the pick was on time and efficient; and the food was excellent. It was great value for money.

We had the Pad Pak Sauce King and Gang Masaman. The ingredients were obviously fresh, the food was piping hot and the spicing was well balanced. If I had one minor comment, it would be that there was not much meat in the Masaman (chicken, in the case) but, according the their printed menu (not the online one), they offer the option to have extra meat for $4. This would be well worth it as the base dishes are not expensive.

Stayed at the North Creek resort recently and this was the restaurant on site. Read online that they offered halal chicken and decided we had to try it for my husband's bday dinner. Never expected it to be as good as it was. We ordered the Tom Yum soup, #25 with jasmine rice and the chicken pad thai.the food was some of the best Thai we've had. Loved the soup so much we ended up ordering it on our second night too. Definitely going to visit again next time we're at Blue Mountain

It's the best place to have a soup, especially if your craving for something deliciously good I would recommend their Tom yum soup. In a cold weather you will be able to finish the entire bowl yourself. Also, they do have the best Pad Thai it's no like any other Pad Thai you ever tried. Plus they are very generous with the toppings. I will not be surprised if people will just have to drive all the way to Blue Mountain just to have Thai food experience.

We ordered the chicken and beef pad Thai and it tasted ok considering it's gluten-free (a healthier choice). It wasn't spicy at all and the option to choose weren't given when placing the order. Prices were on the higher side for the portions but considering it is the only Thai restaurant near Blue Mountain Village where we stayed it was ok.

How amazing to have this wonderful of a restaurant on the property where we’re staying!? This food is incredible, ordered for two, told the lovely lady that we like spicy and aren’t picky. She gave me fabulous recommendations and we ended up with chicken Tom yum soup, shrimp pad Thai and beef green curry. It. Did. Not. Disappoint! So much depth in flavour. If I were staying longer I would order every day. So delicious! They were only accepting cash at the time and she washed my change (2- $20 bills, a lovely gesture). I wish I got 2 orders of the green curry! We will be back!

Charged $6 for picking shrimp in pad Thai without telling us. Got 6 shrimp. No charge for other proteins.

Thai style pad Thai terrible. Barely sauce or veg in it. Tasted like a whole lot of boiled noodles.

We didn't like the Thai food from this restaurant. The service was okay, but not the best. The food however, was not good at all, the vegetables weren't the freshest and the chicken did not taste good at all. There was too much sauce in the noodles and it didn't really mix well with the other ingredients. The prices were alright for what we were given but I wouldn't recommend going here to eat.

Food was good but it was too pricey. At a glance it looks likes 15 dollars a dish with about enough for 1.5 people per dish. Would recommend if you don't care about paying 20% more then what it deserves. Also this place surves halal chicken as of 19 Aug 2019.

Staying at Blue Mountain Village and looking for an Asian cuisine, Thornburi is a recommended restaurant. It is located in the Northcreek hotel so to get here you can drive for 3 minutes yourself from the village or ask the shuttle. Food is very tasty and delicious. I am living near here; therefor, every 2 weeks, I and my brother come back and try a new one because they have almost 35 dishes in their menu. I love it and recommend it to you.

Food was clean but not delicious. My husband liked it but he isn’t Asian so he wouldn’t be the best to ask. Was very average the stuff coming out of the kitchen but the staff is nice. The price didn’t reflect the quality you’d expect.

Fantastic food. I had 'Kow Pad Prik' which was tasty and spicy as described. The rice had been cooked/coated in green curry. The staff were all super friendly. The owner came and chatted with us too.

Went here with a bunch of friends when we came up to the Blue Mountains for the weekend. We were new to the area and this was one of the places that were close to our chalet. Most of us got their Pad Thai, myself included. I specifically got the North American style Pad Thai with beef. It tasted really good and the portion size was quite healthy. You'd be able to eat some and eat the rest later for another meal. The service was good too. Overall would recommend.

Great Thai food with a lot of gluten free options. Unfortunately the service was lacking. The team working seemed more excited to go home than to help their last two tables even though they weren’t closing for a hour and half. Granted the food was so good we ordered it to go the 2nd time, glad we had the food again.

We just had dinner at this restaurant and sadly it did not live up to the reviews we've seen. We started our meal with the green papaya salad which was good but had too much fish sauce in it, a little less would have earned this dish a 5-star. Next we had the tomyum soup which was overpowered with the flavouring paste which was not blended well in the soup. After a few spoonful we could not eat the rest. Another dish that was also disappointing was the curry chicken with broccoli. The chunks of chicken was overcooked making it difficult to swallow. We also ordered the padthai "Thailand style" and fortunately that was good. Sad to say we left feeling very disappointed.

Quiet place with only a few guests when we went. We were looking forward to it because of other reviews that we had read, but didn't really feel the reviews were warranted. The food was good, the Bangkok style pad Thai was good, the north American style Pad Thai less so. The Pad See Ewe was great and so was their Tom Kha Gai. No Thai Iced Tea though.

Spent a great deal of time this afternoon trying to decide where to have dinner tonight. So happy we discovered this gem of a Thai restaurant. We shared many dishes and loved each one. We will definitely be back!

"North american" Pad Thai was simply terrible with weird taste of hoison sauce with tofu tasting like a fridge. Chopped green onion garnish on top was so dry I thought it was from a shaker. Food is pricy considering the quality of the ingredients was subpar. Green curry was not creamy but more watery so I thought coconut water was used instead of coconut milk. This restaurant needs an improvement.

Incredible. Most things vegan - yay! Tom Yum soup is the tastiest thing I've ever eaten! Wish they had Thai food this good in Toronto. Super friendly and helpful staff. I can't wait to come back

Wasn't expecting much but turns out to be absolutely amazing. Will come back when we are in Blue Mountain. Had the Pad Thai, looks a little different then what I normally used to but it was soooooo good.
