They are so kind, well informed and professional. They have provided incredible treatment for both our dogs.

We have been bringing our 3 dogs here for almost two years now. We make it a point to see Dr. Donna whenever possible. We like her direct, common sense approach. Unlike our previous vet, they will treat obvious symptoms without padding the bill with every test imaginable. It’s a bit of a throwback to the good old days, which we enjoy and appreciate. The facility is very modern and clean. All the staff here are friendly and professional. Thank you all for taking such good care of Kiki, Fletcher and Gibson!

I've been coming here for years, never had a bad experience. The prices are extremely reasonable compared to other vets I've been to and you can tell that the vets there actually care about the animals and want what's best for them.

So impressed. Dr Levy was compassionate and took time to explain all the pros and cons and show us with drawings and actual bones how the surgery would (or wouldn't) work. While our pup ended up in the end with an amputation, he is healthy and active and never really needed four legs anyway!

Best veterinary hospital in the area. My cat had dental surgery here and from the initial consultation to post surgery, they provided top notch care and service. Also worth mentioning I vet shopped at several veterinary hospitals in the Collingwood/Blue Mountains area before finding this location. 5/5 stars

Always friendly, not pushy or rude. Doesn’t over charge and actually cares about the animals (and humans) that walk through the door.

Our dog has been seen by a few veterinarian doctors and none of them compare to the ones at Thornbury Veterinary. The doctors and staff are incredible. They truly care about their patients. If you’re looking for a top notch veterinary clinic this is the place.

Great experience, definitely worth the 3 hour drive for my dogs TPLO surgery. The staff were very accommodating, took their time to explain Everything, were Phenomenal with my dog, my dog did not even need to be muzzled (Which she usually does in vet clinics). Highly recommend this clinic for all your animals needs.

The team at Thornbury Veterinary are top notch. Our Ridgeback has been difficult to manage with previous vets. We have now found out what expertise really looks like. Dr. Becky has been amazing at walking us through options for diagnosis and potential end-of life care. She is professional, empathetic and truly supportive.thanks to all!

Forgive the long story but it explains the rating. When our beautiful cat Flambeau was suddenly very sick I called the Veterinary Hospital we were currently going to. They could not fit him in for a few days and, it was COVID, and they said I could not go in with him. I was desperate and called Thornbury Vet on the recommendation of several friends. They understood the urgency and offered a next day appointment. And, of course I would go in with him! My beautiful Flambeau died in my arms that evening. We immediately moved all our fur pals care to the Thornbury Veterinary Hospital and ever since appreciate and value their professionalism, calibre of care and, importantly, compassion.

It was during covid-19 end of covid they took good care of my dog he got all his vaccinations and they were very nice there with us I like the Thornbury veterinarian Hospital

Hands down best experience I've had (besides my local vet). My bengal kitten fractured her hip at just 7 months old and I drove the 2.5hours with no regret. Immediately upon entering- everyone was friendly but what was most important to me was the caring/compassion Dr. Levy showed toward my kitten when he held her.

That's the kind of vet you want looking after your fur baby.

Called after hours regarding an emergency. Evening doctor told me to wait until morning and I could bring in my animal. Called in the morning and morning staff said it is impossible to make an appointment on such short notice. So thanks to this establishment, my cat went all night with a swollen face unable to eat and in pain. I would NOT recommend this practice to anyone as if they can’t even convey simple policy and prosecute to a DOCTOR of all people, who knows what they’re doing to your animal. Obviously I am writing this while being emotionally driven but i think it’s appropriate. So now here I am taking a day off work because this place doesn’t know how to operate.

Dr. Levy was awesome. He took the time to explain everything about my dogs surgery and answered all my questions. He was very honest about the cost and stayed true to his estimate. Great experience. Thanks!

Amazing vet and team! Our cat had a terrible accident which resulted in him requiring surgery and eventually amputation. Dr. Levy was thoughtful and caring in his approach, yet made sure to be direct in laying out all the facts and options. We knew we were in good hands through this difficult situation. His office team was also amazing and patient in getting all the details and logistics organized. Our cat is thriving and back to his old self!

Not impressed with the lack of empathy shown by the staff who answered my phone call yesterday. I am originally from Clarksburg area and was in town for the weekend visiting friends when I had an emergency with my chihuahua. I called Thornbury Vet and they asked if I was a patient, I explained as I have here and they told me that they were too busy to see her (understandable but said in such a blunt and unkind way) and that I would have to drive to BARRIE for the closest emergency vet. I called Blue Mountain Vet Services and they made time immediately between appointments with their own patients and got my baby treated and discharged within 30 minutes of me calling. Honestly, I think Thornbury Vet should be ashamed at how my call with them was handled and I can’t say that I recommend them after this brief experience.
