I have been a patient of Dr Gagiu for the past 10 years. I’ve always loved her work, she is a perfectionist! She is friendly, compassionate and very professional. Going to the dentist is not my favorite thing to do but I know I’m in always in the best hands with Dr Gagiu.
Recently Dr Gagiu helped me with a Bridge supported implants.
To an individual with a gagging reflex condition is quite a intimidating challenge to say the least. Patience, persistency and perseverance is what it takes with each individual and Dr. Gagiu helped tremendously and I ended up going thru all the procedures without any issue. My implants fit perfectly from the beginning and the color is exactly as my original teeth.
Always warm and welcoming and not satisfied until she reaches the perfection and their patient is happy with whatever work may have been needed. There is no other dentist I would go to or recommend. When you find the best, you keep it!

I have been going to Dr Furer and the hygienists for over 35 years! I have now moved to Ajax but still keep driving there.
Very gentle, accommodating and the Dr never pushes me to get anything done. Beautiful person and very competent.
And the receptionists are also very pleasant.

I used to see Sonya the Hygienist and she was amazing. I just switched over to Mary and she is absolutely wonderful as well.
Dr. Caplan, the secretaries are also all lovely.
I highly recommend this clinic!

Very helpful and caring staff from receptionist to Dentist. Everyone is treated with respect and they ensure to explain everything and answer any questions one may have. Reminders before appointment and no waiting times when we reached on the appointed time.

Despite the ghetto neighborhood, this dental clinic is really good. The dentist is very friendly and knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. And let’s not forget about the receptionist, Nelly, she’s an amazing person, very helpful and sweet. She loves her job and makes everyone’s experience a million times better.

Need to change my review of the dental office. I have been going here for many years and the change in administration has caused many headaches for my mom and myself.

The common issue is billing for services after the fact and getting nasty surprises in the mail. Nobody wants that, dental work is stressful enough. The admin is really disorganized and needs to figure out this issue. We are both considering changing dentists and if you are considering thorncliffe dental I recommend thinking again.

You have the best Team in Dr. N. Kaplan, Mary and Annie! Recently I have had multiple appointments and was anxious to say the least. However, due to their professionalism, care, warmth and expertise, it was a very positive experience. Thank you again for all that you do:)

An exceptional dental service business with professional personnel and outstanding quality dentists, hygienists and administrative staff. Have been going there for more than 30 years and have never once been disappointed.

Don't go on the weekends. The weekend staff is uninformed. They didn't check if my trip was covered by insurance. I found out after the appointment when they tried claiming the money. Had to pay $813 out of my pocket for a filling that I would happily have never gotten had I been told I was not covered by insurance, which by the way is standard protocol at the dentist on regular days.

It was very bad experience
Dr Neil Kaplin must address this issue.
I booked an appointment more than month ago with Sonia (hygienist) but today on July 11 2022, I was visited and reach to the dentist room i found another hygienist, issued my appointment is with Sonia. They said she is no more working with us.
This is very unprofessional way rather to call and inform they admin not bother to call and explain.
Please you people make sure before going for examination room that no body make a experiment on you teeth.

I have been using Thorncliffe Dental Centre for 18 years, despite the fact that the location is not convenient for me, as I work downtown and live in the suburbs, because the superb organization and the quality of care I receive.

I have been going here since I was a kid. Dr. Kaplan and his staff are nothing short of amazing! A very clean environment and everyone is always masked!

I've been going to Thorncliffe Dental Care for 58 years and still make the drive. With a full compliment of all types of dental care this is the place to go! Four generations of my family have passed through two family generations of dentists. Front staff is wonderful also!

I went there to check a tooth that’s has pain and they SCAMED me! They took two X-ray because they were not professional and they made me pay for both, such a SCAM. Took my son there as well and they did not do a good job, lots of pain and complain from my son too.

41 years I have been with Dr. Rosenbaum. He is the G. O. A. T. He has always shown the utmost professionalism and he takes the time to talk to you about your oral health and ways you can improve it. He is gentle and caring and always has a smile for you. I trust him enough to take a nap during my fillings! I can't speak enough for him and the rest of the staff here. I live in Ajax and I know for a fact I will never choose another dental practice but Thorncliffe!

Mary is the most amazing hygienist and I will continue going to TDC as long as she is there. She’s so knowledgeable and thorough in her work and she truly cares about her clients/patients.

Dr Furer and the dental hygienist Susan has been providing me with wonderful service for 15 plus year. I am recommending them for their friendly nature and minimum pain on all procedures.

Truly the best dental office in the city! They really do care about their patients and will ensure your experience is a good one!

I was a patient of Dr. N. Kaplan and needed two implants and crowns to be done.
I was told to get a CT Mappings done and they ordered a special guide, so implants will be installed properly.
All that money, 1500$, precisely and time went to a waste since Dr. Kaplan junior who happened to be a oral surgeon, did not calculate dimensions properly and guide did not feet a drill bit, so he went free style with only minimal local Anastasia for 2.5 hours.tons of blood loss and pain.
Free style is fun with a down hill skies, but with gums and teeth not so. The crowns were done by Dr, Kaplan himself and in the end he appeared to be very edgy.
No compensation was offered for any of the mistakes made even so I did ask for my money back for a mappings which was useless and out of my pocket expense.
Lots of money was spent.
Now is 2020, my crowns are in need to be redone since hall process was done with major mistakes.who new.there is no warranty on them and Dr. Kaplan is not touching of anything of mine ever again!
Please be safe and do not fall in the same trap.
Dr. Kaplan is overworked uptight dude.
Office personal is very nice though, what a shame, since those people are keeping that business alive.
New update: just spent 650$ on a healing cups, since new orthodontist had to take crowns out to let my gums to heal and then I am looking for a new crowns, let say another 2000 out of the pocket expense.
So, make your decision before booking with Dr. Kaplan!

I highly recommend Dr Kaplan and Mary my hygienist they are the best I have been seeing them for so many years can't even count love them.

I made an appointment for check up and cleaning. They did pretty good job on checking, almost 1 hr checking and the Doc is quit good to tell you all the detail of the teeth issues. However, they didn’t do the cleaning at the same day. Their service is quit good and the Doc is professional. The checking cost 280$

I have been coming here for over 3 years now and I’ve always recommended it to others.

I had the opportunity this past week to bring my 3 year old and it had such a great experience. Everyone was so patient and accommodating. I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my 2nd son here when he turns 3.
