Mitra asmani should really pack her bags and leave. She called the indigenous people "indians" then got annoyed when my class told her it was wrong to say that. Also their is this girl in my class and on one of our art projects she asked to see that one girls project which didnt look good and then said this is the best. Not to mention that she singles out students, one of my friends that sits in the front didnt understand something so he came to me and i helped him then she called him out and asked what he was doing and when he said im helping him she said to go sit back down then she went to his desk looked at his work and blurted out " you dont even understand basic math" with the sole intention of putting him down. We also have never been on time tor anything! She gets mad at me for being a minute late because there was a crowd in the hallway and i was trying through after i got through I waited on the wall like i normally do for about 30 seconds until i asked my friend "arent we supposed to go inside" so then we went to door tried to open it but it was LOCKED, then we knocked and this wasnt Asmani's teaching period we had art with another teacher just in Asmani's class. She opened the door said" your late go the office for a late slip" then SLAMMED the door in our face, A LATE SLIP AFTER 9: 25 ISNT EVEN A THING! SHE ISNT EVEN ALLOWED TO LOCK THE DOOR ON STUDENTS, SHE IS GETTING AWAY WITH STUFF LIKE THIS AND THERE ISNT BEING ANYTHING DONE EXCEPT "TALKING TO HER". Besides this and other small issues the school is good it can become better if the school checks its reviews it WILL see a brighter and better furture.

I love this except for the god dam ms asmani i got in trouble for shaking my friends hand she gets mad at for accidentally dropping stuff saying " as usual its always you" gives low marks even when i follow everything anyways good school except this rude ah teacher ms asmani

Hello! This school isn’t as bad as it used to be. The teacher everyone is talking about has left or got fired, I’m not sure. Teachers are beginning to teach students properly and teaching them to be kind to one another. This really depends on the student and how they act. The school in general is fine now, it’s just the students that attend there. They choose to be toxic or problematic for this school and it can be mildly annoying. The school now goes up to grade 8 so that’s good. Washrooms are usually clean but most of the time not. If you do not like rude students in this school then I don’t recommend this school to you, unless you wanna learn how to deal with situations like this then of course you are always welcome. We now have better teachers who keep ahold of those bad behaved students (Mr. C and Mr. G) and they are actually pretty cool teachers! They aren’t exactly teachers but they are like school counselors or something like that. Overall this school isn’t that bad, you just need to avoid problematic people and avoid getting into trouble! I have been in Thorndale for about 8 years and I got use to Thorndale, everything is alright! They also make sure students are following all COVID-19 safety guidelines. Still though, this school needs to work on stopping bullying.

When i was in grade 3 me and my friend was jumped by 4 kids and i got in trouble and got sent to the principle office because we fought back and the 4 kids said that we started it horrible school only couple of good teacher teach here.

I like most of the teachers and staff but some students are really mean please staff try and do something about this.

This school is not good for your kids to learn in. My son is learning in this school until the end of this school year after that he is moving to Macville Public School in a SciTech program. This school has bad students and bad teachers. No kid deserves to be in this school. I will be telling two recent stories about bad things that happened to my son in online school but trust me there are way more that happened to my son in in-person school. Firstly, My son was innocent and students blamed him for doing something. In my sons French class, kids were screaming. My son was staying quiet. Kids emailed the teacher and got him in trouble. Secondly, My child accidently unmuted his mic and called his mom. Everyone started laughing including the teacher. Please don't make your child go through this.

Just a strait up horrible school none of the teachers try i've had 3 good teachers in my 9 years at this school. 1 Time a group of kids jumped me and my friend and we got in trouble because we fought back and the only reason we fought back was because the teachers wouldn't do anything. There are a countless number teachers pets that get better treatment than everyone else and you have to be one or else there is really no way to make the teachers like you. The learning experience is also very bad because as i earlier mentioned none of the teachers really try I have had 3 good teachers and all of them have left the school except for one. The teachers never call on you when you have your hand up but right when you put that hand down they start screaming your name. It's a horrible experience I don't think anyone should be in this school if it was up to me a student of this school for over 9 years i would tear the place down and build a cheese cake factory thank you for reading.

Its an okay school except Mrs. Asmani she is mean and instead of taking the blame for herself she blames her students and continues to get angry for no reason she also tells us to use our notes even though she doesn't teach us

Ms. Asmani should consider retiring. Not knowledgeable in current curriculum. Very frustrating for students to endure this day in and day out.
