Tenny Booked me appointment for cars don't have in their inventory. Drove 1.5 hours one way and then they tried to sell me different car. So unprofessional. Very disappointed.

The service department here cannot be trusted. I took my Elantra GT in for an issue with the driver's seat wobbling unusually. They quoted me at over $600 to fix it, saying there was a bolt missing and it's not covered under warranty because they "couldn't find the bolt".

Well they obviously didn't look very hard. Took the car to another Hyundai dealership (Finch in London) and explained the same problem. They found the bolt, fixed it, and sent me on my way with just a diagnostic fee (it was fixed within the time permitted by the fee, no additional charges).

The problem with Thornhill as well is that I specifically asked them to try submitting the issue to Hyundai for warranty coverage, because they were just assuming it wouldn't be covered. They did not do this. They also never sent me the diagnostic information by email that they said they would. There was no further contact after I left with the car.

Overall, extremely unprofessional, sleazy practices at this dealership. GO ELSEWHERE.

I collected my Elantra today, and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The car was in impeccable condition, a testament to the care taken by the dealership. I had an extremely disappointing experience and would strongly advise against visiting this dealership!

The finance manager displayed unprofessional behavior and a complete disregard for our agreed-upon terms. Despite our agreement that the signed deal would be canceled and my deposit fully refunded if the finance application was unsuccessful, the manager went ahead and reapplied for the loan without my consent!

I replied immediately that it is not acceptable to reapply for the loan after the first trial was failed without my consent.

Worse still, my requests for the cancellation of the deal and a full refund were repeatedly ignored, further adding to my dissatisfaction.

I emailed the finance manager, salesperson, General Sales Manager, no one is replying to me!

Given this experience, I cannot in good conscience recommend Thornhill Hyundai to others. It is important to be cautious and seek a more reputable dealership that prioritizes customer satisfaction and honors their agreements.

Right from the start, it was a great experience. I contacted Anmol via Marketplace and he immediately booked an appointment with me for the same day. Came to look at a different car but to my luck, a new car was available and Anmol suggested me to take a look and helped with it. Bought the car and all the documentation was done on the same day with the help of Anmol and Mousin. It was a really great experience as both the guys were cool, helped with all the process and all in all, I will recommend this to anyone looking to get a car

I had an amazing experience at this dealership! I walked in without an appointment and was lucky to be greeted by the Sales Representative, Mohsin Sheikh. He definitely deserves a mention. He is not only knowledgeable, helpful and transparent, but also quite friendly.
He helped a lot in making the experience smooth and went an extra mile to share tips on how to save big on your auto insurance! He is very thorough.
I remember when I was there for pickup and the Apple Carplay was giving some trouble, he was kind enough to spare time and sit with me in order to figure out what was wrong, which I really appreciate!
I would definitely recommend him to anyone who plans to visit the dealership!

TL;DR. Came in to buy a 2022 Tucson. Demo was priced ~$3500 over MSRP with 6000km on it. Low balled us on trade by ~5k, purchased a higher trim Tucson N-line at Orillia Hyundai the next day, brand new with 0km, and saved nearly $6,000 when compared to the vehicle we looked at here. Bill of sale is for the new car we purchased the next day at an HONEST Hyundai dealer.

FULL STORY:
Came to purchase a brand new 2022 Tucson N-Line, they did not have any stock, but they had a DEMO Tucson Preferred with trend package (one trim level below) so we decided on maybe buying that instead as it was in stock. The price was $40,079 not incl.tax.

The car had 6000+km on it and was shown to us with a baby seat and other junk inside of it. It was being driven by an employee, even though being told on the first visit it was "locked up in the other lot". Whatever.no big deal. I'll come back.

Two days later, we test drove it; liked it and wanted to do a deal. This is where it gets crazy. The price of the vehicle was above MSRP, Red flag 1, even though it had 6000km on it and was being sold as a demo model. I caught this between visit 1 and visit 2. Roughly $3,500k above MSRP. They also told us and I quote "we dont match the online price, try and buy it online, you cant". Red flag 2.

Given the mass delay of new vehicles due to COVID-19, we decided lets see what they offer on the trade in, maybe we can still work a deal. Previous to the 2nd visit, I got an appraisal elsewhere (a Vaughan dealer) for +13k. Thornhill Hyundai offered 8500. Red flag 3. "you'll never get that, its fake" they proclaimed. Even though I had proof and showed them the offer. Dont even get me started on the so called "Mandatory" $1859 fee they tried to slip into the bill of sale. Red flag 4.

All in all, we decided to walk, for obvious reasons.and bought a 2022 Tucson N-line the next day at a different Hyundai dealer.

I purchased a new top trim Santa Fe in August 2021. The customer service was initially great, but it went downhill as soon as my husband and I walked into the finance office. We had worked out a deal with the sales rep only to find that that deal was not reflected in the paperwork we were asked to sign. It felt like they were trying to slip one by me. When I pointed this out I was told by one of the managers that they couldn't give me the deal the sales rep had committed to. The sales manager and sales rep then had a back and forth right there in front of me, which was completely unprofessional and felt staged to make me feel like I was in the wrong for insisting that they honour the deal I agreed to with the sales rep. Not impressed. We went ahead and purchased the car anyways with a modified version of the original deal. Picking up the car once it arrived was fine, however, the poor customer service has continued. I purchased the extended protection plan having been told I could cancel it within 45 days with no penalty. Well, when I decided to cancel it there was a $50 penalty. I also had to drop a paper form at the dealership, even though the dealership had told me to work with Hyundai Canada online. The finance manager committed to following up with me within 2 days to ensure the form had been submitted and the cancelation went through. Well, I've followed up with the finance manager 4 times by email and have been met by silence; it's now almost 2 months later and I still have no idea if my cancelation went through. Clearly the customer service at this dealership is a sham - every thing is great until they have your money and then suddenly you don't matter. I certainly wouldn't buy at this dealership again.

OlWe purchased our first car in Canada at this place, and Onur, our sales representative, guided us through all the leasing process and explained all the details. They were kind enough to meet our budget and deliver our car right on time. Highly recommend dealer.

Late Nov 2021. Thornhill Hyundai Service phone call and text message to communicate opportunity of on site appraiser for my 2017 Santa Fe. Its let go should had been in their record. It demonstrates the enthusiasm and aggressiveness of the Sales team, new or old. It quite contrasts with the Service team vigor. There were not that fine experiences with them before. However, follow up services in every aspect have room to be refined as well. Wish them prosper and thrive.

Great dealership to buy your vehicles from! Vehicles arrived in 1.5 month after placing the order when other dealerships were quoting 3+ months. Overall pleasant experience at Thornhill Hyundai dealing with Fereshteh as my sales rep! The process was quick and they weren't pushy as other dealerships trying to sell you warranties etc.

I went to see a blue Nissan Altima today, i came all the way from orillia to thorn hill just yo see the car as i had the appointment, the car didn’t start when i showed up and they almost wasted my 2 hours time and my money. I told him not to put inquiries on my wife and my dad's credit He should check one of us. But he put inquiries on three of us account's and said sorry no bank is giving you loan.
As we told him at first that we don't have work at that movement as we were new in Toronto.
At the End he will say they couldn't find your credit card. So funny bro then how bank shows inquiries.

It's the first time I ever give a low rating score here. I am very disappointed with the customer service of this dealership. Total lack of client focus or communication proactiveness from the customer representative or the sales manager.

I made a deposit to an available vehicle (Stock: T210075) through their own dealership website October 2nd. Since then I did not receive any phone call or email communication from them.

I called them a total of 20 times in the last 10 days following-up on the purchase interest. At first I was informed the car did not exist (lol). Then my request was being transferred to the financing team, etc. Before the end of last week, my phone calls stopped being answered and my customer contact never returned my voicemail messages.

After insistent inquiries to the reason of delay, I was informed the vehicle was a Demo although being advertised as New - which was fine for me. Given the delay, my only request to the customer representative was to make sure the car would not be sold to someone else after the 7 days of deposit validity.

Guess what.today, after calling 3 times to get an update on the vehicle they call me back to inform the vehicle was sold yesterday "because their request to deliver the vehicle to their dealership was not registered by the sister dealership due to the long weekend".

Well. I guess another dealership will get my business.

The service advisers are very friendly. However, they tend to push certain services as "recommended" by Hyundai, whereas some Googling shows the services are largely unnecessary. They list an engine oil flush as recommend for preventative purposes, but most articles and forums say that it's usually not needed and may even cause issues later on.

Hyundai also released a Technical Service Bulletin (#09-EM-001) that states that they don't recommend or endorse this process for any of their cars/engines, so I'm not sure how the dealership can push this on customers as a recommended service for proper maintenance.

She took the time to understand our needs &budget and made fair recommendations. She is very knowledgeable and thorough in explaining the features of vehicle. She is friendly and didn't push the things to make a deal. The whole process was made easy and stress-free. Thank her for being so patient with all my queries. I received great service from my salesperson, Mark Calvitto. Mark went above and beyond to make sure that I was satisfied with my purchase. He took the time to discuss my options with me and provided me with useful tips. Every time I visited the dealership, Mark accomodated my schedule and did his best to meet with me as soon as possible. When it was time to pick up my car, he ensured that my car was clean and in good shape before handing it over. He was open to my questions and provided his help and support even after I had picked up the car.
I also had a meeting with the manager, who was very helpful in providing tips/advice to assist me in making a decision.
I was only disappointed because I had to change the class/colour of my car because what I wanted was not available, and it took about 2.5 weeks before I was able to pick up the car. Of course, Mark (salesperson) and the finance manager (Michael) were considerate enough to lend me a car for the duration of this time.
It would also be nice if there was a booking system or there were more salesperson available to avoid the long wait times.
I would definitely go back to this dealership in the future!

UPDATE:
- I had always been satisfied with the service. However, this time I tried booking a service appointment online and took a day off work to go to the appointment. When I called to confirm the appointment I realized it hadn't been booked! The lady that I spoke to was helpful (although frustrated!) and did her best to get me in on a different day. I'm just disappointed that I trusted the online booking - I hope Hyundai fixes their online system.
When I went in for the service, however, the service was great! Although 3 hours of work were required and my appointment was later in the evening, they ensured that the work would be done. I'm always satisfied with the service.

I am strongly recommend you NOT to go there for any services. They are charming to sale you a car and tell you to buy extra protection. When the time comes and you ask them, they Don’t even humor there own signature and stamp.
They provide very poor customer service and they don’t try to build trust and customer relationship.

Horrible service. I never wrote reviews before but after this experience, I had to! Several errors from their end. I booked for service and winter tires and they only book for winter tires, they said something about the shuttle and later told me something else, and at the end the driver was one hour late. I used to do service there but after this experience I am going to another dealer.

We did not satisfy with service. We came in your dealership because we were looking for used car. There was a sales representative whose behavior was not professional (to my bad luck, don’t remember his name), answered to all our questions and needs so rudely. To be honest it seems that if you want to buy used car, not brand new one, you wouldn’t receive great service and at least respect. So disappointed, but that’s what happened.

I purchased a used vehicle from here a few weeks ago. I was asked when I wanted to pick it up at the finance had already gone through so I said on the Thursday as I was come from a little bit of a distance and my husband and I are on different schedules. I got a phone call Wednesday night about 8 pm saying that the car would not be ready for pick up that they had to send it out to be fixed and they would keep me posted and let me know what was going on with it. By Tuesday we still hadn't heard anything so I called and it still wasn't ready. They call on Wednesday and say that it's ready but when I said I'd like to pick up the next day I'm told they can't have it ready for me. I paid insurance on a vehicle for over a week that I didn't even have and got nothing but lied to. The spare tire that was supposed to come with the vehicle was a regular tire which I was told when looking at the car but then I get it home and it was changed to a donut and the piece is rusted. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone! Your customer should be number one, without them you would not be in business.

Today my wife and I walked into this dealership looking to test drive a new Elantra. We were warmly greeted just after walking in, and after telling the receptionist what we wanted, we were asked to get comfortable and look around while she got someone to help us. Emilia met us on the floor and was happy to help us get a test drive within minutes. We made it clear we didn’t want to be pressured as most dealerships in our experience are quite aggressive. She made it clear that the staff here are not commissioned and that it’s something we wouldn’t have to worry about. Just before we went out for a drive she explained the current pricing to us about the trim we were interested in. The test drive vehicle was this red 2019 model. Emilia told us all about the car during the drive and was really helpful. One of the guys I talked to and joked around with at the dealership turned out to be the manager, also really easy going and friendly. When we were done Emilia gave us a nice brochure to take home as well as her card and offered to follow up with us late next week. We didn’t buy the car because we are still doing thorough research. But this being the fifth dealer we’ve visited, I can confidently say it was a great experience and if we choose to buy here I’m sure we’ll be happy. Thanks Emilia

Worst service and lying sales people with false promises just to get commission. The management didn’t even had the decency to contact me when I had concerns. Don’t fall for this lame dealership. Not even Hyundai HQ wanted to get involved as they don’t have any backbone to support their brand. So disappointed that the Canadian consumer doesn’t have any protection against dealerships like this. Be aware, very aware. Ask the sales person that fraudulently charge my credit card without my knowledge and admitted to it. Shame on you Hyundai!

DEN OF THIEVES. Terrible customer service. Service Center is a joke and THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.dishonest and disgraceful management. Stay away at all costs. Don't be fooled by their aggressive advertisings.

$400 for battery change!? Who is doing all the labor? Space engenieers? !

I will be going back today to solve my issue. Let's see they'll try to help me instead of their copy paste message. Stay tuned.

Just met with the top dog Craig grassco n let me tell you if you ever met him in person n had to do business with him you'll know his thug wanna be attitude n his low self-esteem comments like "this is my store" unfortunately the problem with Thornhill Hyundai is from the Top. Used 2018 Hyundai Elantra with less than 5k km's for just under 16K. I had sent an email in the early morning inquiring about the vehicle and received a message back stating that they'd love to have me book an appointment to come back and test try the vehicle, I had replied back that I would like to see it that evening if that was an option, I had no reply but called the dealership at about 2pm inquiring about cosigning and had booked an appointment for that night in regards to the brief conversation that morning to see the car. After the long drive in we hadn't waited long before being greeted at the door and had been set up with a salesperson to bring out the test vehicle to drive, the salesperson was nice and very helpful but when we returned we quickly started discussing pricing, it had become apparent that we were not on the same page of which car I was looking to purchase and when I had made her aware of the one I had emailed about I was told it was already sold. After a long drive and multiple points of contact I was not pleased with the lack of communication and unfortunately our saleswoman had reasonable events she had to attend and was unable to finish the appointment but she did provide us with the manager, I was not impressed, I am not quick to judge but his attire seemed to lack in appropriation to what I would assume Hyundai's dress code would be for any employee much less the manager, he seemed to have understood my situation and we briefly discussed the lack of communication of the vehicles purchase, he told me that he would give me an acceptable offer to better the unfortunate circumstances of the same vehicle with no mileage but 6k more in price and an extra 5 year warranty, I was extremely unimpressed and decided to make a quick call to determine my next move, I came back with a counter offer of just under 18K as I had done the calculations of the original price plus the tax of a used vehicle (such as the one that I was intending on purchasing) and financing to match, he said the extra warranty was extremely generous and after brief offering back and forth I decided to leave. I find this experience rather unfortunate because i believe that it further supports the poor representation of sales people to be untrustworthy and hopefully after I send a formal email to Hyundai that it will prevent others from falling into the scheme of reeling in clients with a reasonable offer to put them in a position where they are pressured into purchasing something that was not agreed upon.

To buy a Santa Fe I have been there 4 times, Nobody follow up with me.and each time I was standing at front desk for 20 minutes. They don't care about you and your business.
They can not show me the color that I want, suggesting to see on monitor, or roll a dice and choose a color. I won'r buy even a T-Shirt like this.
I have been told to wait for 3 months for arrival of car to enable me to see and choose a color.
I wish I could give them zero star

We recently purchased a Hyundai Elantra SE and they were awesome with us gave us a great deal and Afsheen Baig was an amazing sales manager.
They do treat you like part of your family which goes a long way when trying to find a dealership who isn’t trying to scam you for everything you have.
She did everything to make sure she answered all our questions, listened carefully to understand our requirements and provide various options that we could consider.

Had an amazing experience with both David and Cam today. They were both extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and it was extremely easy to talk to them about ANYTHING.

If you had any concerns, sales wasn't the priority to either of them, and it just felt like getting advice from new friends while talking to them.

We recently purchased a Santa Fe from Thornhill Hyundai and the whole experience was great. Habib was a really great guy and definitely did his best to ensure we were happy with our purchase. He was never pushy and really made us feel comfortable throughout the whole process and explained everything in detail. Also, Carena the financial manager really went out of her way to ensure we were being taken care of and we can't thank her enough for the great work she did. Can't recommend this dealership enough, they both did an amazing job!
