Thornhill Outdoor Swimming Pool

It was very dirty. They didn't put any bleach in the water. There was a lot of hair and bugs in the water.

The pool is very beautiful and clean, until the lifeguard named "Ryan" yelled at my daughter because she touched the rope of the pool twice, and was very rude and ruined our good mood, in my opinion he is not suitable for this position,

I highly recommend the Thornhill Outdoor Pool. I want to thank the amazing instructors Keren, Ryan, and Gabby for their engaging classes and keeping everything running smoothly. Thanks to the lifeguards for keeping everyone safe: Ryan, Keren, Leeza, Ben, Richard, & their team. They are polite, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. Wish this pool was there all year! We really appreciate it in the summer.

We arrived for the 5-7 time slot on time. The girl at front desk told his that they were filling the pool with fresh water and we would have to wait 20-30 mins. We asked if we would get additional time past 7, she said no. We sat down to wait on the deck. At 6 pm, they made the announcement that the pool would not reopen and to go home. We wasted a half hour driving to the pool, an hour waiting for it only to be sent home. This is pretty disappointing and clearly the result of not having a manager present as these are all young teens running the facility for the holiday (sept. 4).

There is a park outside the facility area for picnic and a little fun as well.

Straightforward facility with two pools, including a baby/toddler wading pool with zero depth entry. The "family change room" is tiny and not very convenient, but the gendered change rooms are a good size with showers.

There are many of us who can't wait for this beautiful pool to open every summer, both for swimming and Aquafit. The lifeguards and instructors could not be more professional and those who do both jobs - as instructors and lifeguards - like Ryan and Keren, are incredibly helpful. The community is lucky to have them looking after their families and keeping them safe while they enjoy the pool activities - thank you everyone!

I love this small park and the swimming pool. It’s closed right now due to covid, but hopefully things can open up again soon.park has multiple picnic tables so great for picnic ;)

Amazing park! Got sunburnt here real bad tho. The beach here is pretty small here not going to lie. And there is a lot of people here. Most of the beach is private property though. There is also an area where you can drop off jet skies and boats.

Should be open to the public. Says it's open at 12.30 but there's no water in the pool. If Toronto can, why can't we?

Very nice, clean and friendly place. The staff are friendly and cool guys. The is a baby swimming pool. A lot of people during the weekend, and it's very hard to park your car.

Went there with my toddler twice, great pool, gotta pick not busy times, if they provided some soap that would be nice

I went to this swimming pool recently. The water was not so clear, and I noticed some swimmers were smoking cigarette around the pool while the lifeguards were on duty! It was interesting that no one took a shower before entering the pool, and apparently staff did not mind and pay attention. Also, the men’s change room did not have enough spaces and was not clean.

Everything was fine until I started to feed mine 10 months old baby and they told me that food is not allowed in the pool area and that I need to leave if I need to feed him. I think it’s ridiculous and not convenient. I will never go there again.

Usually go to beach for sunbathing, but I really can't stand the constant heat, dirty water and sand. Came across Thornhill Outdoor Pool while searching for outdoor pool. I've only been there once, but I couldn't be happier. It's only a 15 mins drive from where I live. The place is clean overall. I can sunbath and have clean water to cool me down whenever I need to. If I just wanna chill, I grab a noodle, float away and relax. If I want a little exercise, I go to the deep end and have a few short laps. I found the patrons there are mostly very polite and considerate of others. Life guards take their job seriously. I'll be back for sure)

The facility is clean. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is a huge baseball field where the diamond is groomed reddish brown dirt and a tennis courts too. There is a climbing gym park for children. There is swung sets. Lots of parking

Enjoyed our visit. Nice pool. Good for warm sunny days. A lot of chlorine. Had to leave early on account of chlorine.
