I have been going to Thornhill Village Dental for many years. I am not a fan of needles and when Dr Scherer has to freeze my mouth, I do not feel the needle at all. She is amazing at what she does and I would recommend Dr Scherer to anyone that is in need of a great dentist.

Over 30 years ago I arrived in Thornhill in need of a dentist.

In great need of a dentist!

Long ago I had found the truth in the saying, "A woman has to be twice as good as a man to be considered half as good. " So I went looking for a woman dentist.

In my search I found Dr. Karen Scherer. Among all other things I learned she was an award-winning dental student. That tipped the scale.

Over the decades I have been not just happy but astounded. The most astounding thing: she has repaired and saved teeth I was sure were lost. Almost as astounding: she did cosmetic work on my front teeth that I had long ago concluded were beyond help.

For the cherry on top: she and her staff are always pleasant, and happy. (I wish people had been that happy to work in several offices I had the opportunity to visit, and especially to work in.

I cannot imagine a better dental group. I recommend her highly to everyone. (!)

Dr. Karen is wonderful - she has given me a new smile that I love! My teeth feel absolutely natural and are beautiful! But more than that, the entire experience has been wonderful. For 50 years I have had a fear of “dentists” that would severely limit what work could be done. And I certainly would never have gone to a dentist that didn’t use “gas”! What an wonderful experience it is to go to Dr. Karen. Deciding to see Dr. Karen, was the best decision! I am so happy with my teeth and so happy that she is my dentist!

I've been going to Dr Scherer for years and she's completely changed how I feel about going to the dentist. I did my Invisalign through her and had a great experience. Just started going to Thornhill Village Dental and so far, it has been amazing. The staff are very friendly and Dr. Scherer is a fantastic dentist. For someone who hates getting cleanings, their hygienists did a very pleasant job and the visits have been painless! I found Thornhill Village Dental from sifting through Goggle reviews and I'm surprised it actually worked as well as it did! The 5 star rating speaks for itself.

I love my dentist! I don't think that is something you hear often! But Karen is amazing! She has such a wonderful nature, is so gentle and professional, even my 7 year old son gets excited when its time to go to the dentist as she also has an incredible way with children and can put even the biggest dentistphobe at ease!

I have been seeing Dr. Karen since last year and have had a great experience at her dental clinic. She is thorough with her work and explains everything that is going on - in terms that I understand! She takes time to chat and get to know her patients which I really appreciate. Her staff are friendly and provide promptly reminders for upcoming appointments.

I've done regular cleanings, fixes as well as invisalign treatment. I'm very happy with their service. The stuffs are friendly. Dr. Karen is a very experienced dentist. Even her assistants there are very gentle and proficient when doing cleanings. The front desk is prompt with appointment reminders too.

I have been going to Dr. Karen for the last few months, and she has helped me with quite a few procedures including replacing old crowns that I had gotten in Korea, as well as several fillings. I was nervous at first, because it had been quite a while since my previous dentist visit, but Karen made me feel at ease, and the procedures were done swiftly and comfortably. I am looking forward to returning to Thornhill Village Dental for many years to come!

Dr Scherer is our family dentist. She takes great care in her patients and is especially good with children. My daughter, who is 12, has been going since she was a toddler has no fear of going to the dentist thanks to Dr Scherer and her staff. I was so impressed how they made this experience an easy one for our daughter and have recommended this dentist to people in the neighbourhood. They are caring and make the dental experience fun. My daughter is now going through orthodontics and Dr. Scherer has good working relationships with the orthodontists she recommends.

In my opinion, Dr. Karen Scherer answers the highest calling of her profession.

As her patient of more than twenty years, I believe that Dr. Scherer demonstrates competent judgment and extraordinary skill.
