It just opened up again under new management, I got a two piece of Pollack, the batter was really light cooked perfectly, was very reasonable and it was ready really quick

This rating is meant to be merely constructive criticism. The fish was drenched in oil the fries were cold and the coleslaw was cubed not grated (cabbage) which was new to me. Just saying. I hope you take the time to properly drain off the excessive oil moving forward.

We heard that the original owner's family returned to the location with an original family recipe, so I sent my husband to pick up fish for dinner tonight (family of 5,2yo twins and a 4 yo) a six piece dinner fed us all beautifully! And honestly I'm blown away by the batter, we order fish and chips in Niagara (various locations) every single Friday evening, and this is hands down the BEST battered fish I have ever had. Even better- all three kids asked for seconds and thirds-Well done! And thank you so much for bringing it back to share! I can't wait to order again next week with my parents!

New owners now and their burger (dry, no condiments, no toppings other than lettuce because thats apparently just how it comes?) gave me food poisoning: < this restaurant used to be incredible and i suggested it to all my family and friends now i hope that no one ends up going because of me

Fish and chips is one of the best I’ve had in the Niagara region. Very light batter and the fish burger is an excellent choice as well. Everything made fresh, so you have to wait a bit.

Have never stopped in before. We all decided to eat in as they have some seats. We ordered a haddock family meal for 4 adults and we had leftovers, lots of fish and fries. Wasn't a fan of the coleslaw. Table was dirty, so I requested a wipe down. Food was brought to our table and we all enjoyed it. Thanks!

Highly underrated, personally this is a hidden gem in the heart of Thorold downtown.

I am allergic to fish, however the fries are cooked in a separate fryer. The chicken is cut from the skewer then grilled to perfection, throw in some cheese and gravy in addition to their house made garlic sauce, you have a perfect combination for a heart-warming shawarma poutine. I highly recommend trying it. Their falafel wrap and shawarma wrap were also amazing, everything is cooked fresh to order, your food is not stale. Will be coming back more often.

This place is a family business with the whole family working together to support each other.
The food is excellent quality and the lowest price in the Niagara region.
The staff is always cheerfully serving each customer with respect and prompt service.
If you go you will be amazed. You will never want to go anywhere else for your restaurant dinning experience because you will want to return again and again for their great tasting and best quality food for miles around.

Worst shawarma I've had in quite awhile. Chicken undercooked and cold, almost tasted day old. Wasn't asked what toppings I wanted and got unwanted onions, tomato and pickles. Barely any garlic sauce which was flavourless. Won't be returning!

Definitely the best fish and chips I've ever had and it's next door so me and my dad love eating there and the portions are huge! And the service is excellent

The fish was all right. Not the greatest I've had. But I'm kind of biased being from Nova Scotia and used to eating fresh fish. The atmosphere of this place was a real downer. The owner sat in front of his laptop and stared at it all the while I was there. The girl who did the cooking was very timid, as if almost afraid to be working there. 1st and last time I will ever visit
