Thriftlodge Cochrane South

Property is certainly not new, but the people who run it clearly take pride in their work. The room was large, clean (bathroom spotless), mattress was new and very comfortable, property was quiet at night. Continental breakfast had good variety. Staff all polite and friendly. Price of the room appears to be cheaper than many of the other hotels in Cochrane. Would definitely stay again.

Polite and respectful staff! I forgot my deceased Grandfather's ring in my room and a month later, they gave it back to me. Anywhere else and it would have been gone. Rooms are not the most modern but I'm in construction/Gen X and don't require the pampering of the newer generation so they are fine for me.

I found the room clean, spacious and comfortable. Slept well here. There is new Mexican restaurant next door but I was not able to try it yet. It must be a popular place with snowmobilers. The parking lot is huge so vehicles with trailers will like this. Note: no parking of snowmobiles on sidewalk, even if you visit in June.

Just checked in.very retro yet cozy.rooms are clean, staff was very nice.for a $100 room you caint expect elegance but for a hard working guy that needs a bed and a shower after a 14 hour work day this is the place.will definitely return

A place to stay should not have a star. Sorry. It's not worth ranting about. It was the only place that allowed pets, and we were tired. Should have stayed in our van

Very good staff.lots of parking.great place to stay.right on highway.close to snowmobile trail.great restaurants (241 & Quesada Mexican Grill) on site.lots free parking.

Great deal on a room you should know what you are getting. Beds are comfortable and great parking. Owners/staff are very nice. Much better than the place around the corner (starts with a W) that was very rude and cheated us (we will never stay there ever again).

Horrible place, so cold in room, looks like the thermostat does not work, and no thick bedding, I have to sleep in my pants. Dirty, Dirty and Dirty.

Wasnt bad for unexpectant and unplanned stay they got me in in an emergency situation even though there was winter carnival and snowmobile racing going on. Alsoi liked that it was pet friendly.

Dated, but clean. The room has a coffee maker, fridge, and microwave. A fireplace is a nice touch.

Rooms were nice and clean, just a little run down, needs minor repairs here and there bu ok for 1 night for the $
