Tia's Place - Portuguese Restaurant

Loved this place! Amazing atmosphere, food and friendly service. A definite must experience.

Stopped in here today for a late breakfast / lunch.
I was a little disappointed that they didn't have a breakfast menu, but were still making 2 breakfast options for those that requested it. They also didn't have home fries which was disappointing but offered fries instead.
The fries were good, but they're a frozen French fry, not prepared fresh, which I don't understand. A bag of potatoes and a French fry cutter is common sense and offers a much higher quality experience, while lowering your food cost.
Sausage and Eggs were great, hard to mess that up though. Pulled pork sandwich was fantastic, on a fresh Portuguese bun, lots of sauce and lots of pulled pork.
Love the vibe of this place. The service was very very good, loved the Spanish music and Portuguese decor.
Prices are very reasonable.
Overall great experience, we will definitely be back.

Tia’s Place has once again outdone themselves! We are so thankful to Mary-jo, John and their wonderful staff! Tia’s has hosted events for us in the past and Mary-jo always makes us feel like family. My parents 60th Wedding Anniversary party was 5! Thank you for the special decorating you did till 2: 00 am the night before. The food and service was amazing as usual!

Tia's rocks! We sat down to a great breakfast. They allowed me to substitute the spuds and toast with sliced tomato. Prices are great, fresh hot coffee and delicious food. Our server Kelly was phenomenal. Even JJ the chef came out to ask how our meal was. We will become regulars.

Authentic Portuguese meals with Acorean flare, family atmosphere and great service. Tasted like home.

Love this place! Such amazing service and genuinely delicious portuguese meals. We like to try their specials, they are always worth it.

Thus is my go to spot for lunch. Great variety on menu. Fresh and flavouful dishes. Try the basa fish special on Fridays! Have not had a bad dish there yet. Staff are super friendly and aim to please!

Tia’s breakfast is back! Finally after the covid wait, we get to have delicious Tia’s breakfast again.

They’ve also renovated and changed up the menu a bit.

Delicious authentic Portuguese cuisine.

One of my new favorite places in Strathroy. Thanks to Tia's place and Family Table, I know what food can taste like:)

Food here is like an art form.

Here's a couple of points:

-Bacon is the only thing here that I've had problems with - its usually overdone, but they always redo it for me with no hassles.
-Ham is incredible here- THICK. You've never seen eggs benny like this before. Generous portions of ham.
-They know spices and herbs! They pair everything with the perfect amount of a unique herb or spice to keep the food interesting until the last bite.
-Soups here are perfect. Home made, fresh ingredients, not too thick.

If they have the cream of asparagus when you go - try that, it's so good.

The interior of this place is probably the best looking restaurant interior in Strathroy.

They serve local coffee, O-Joe's.

They have outdoor seating and a huge glass bay at the front that opens up when the weather is nice.
