Tide and Vine Oyster House

Came here right before New Year’s Eve and it’s got vibes!

We were seated at the bar and received great service.

We ordered light to have dinner later. Of a party for 2, we had the seafood chowder, fresh oysters, steamed mussels and lobster roll.

The chowder was nice and thick, and very flavourful. Super delicious mussels.
Oysters were fresh and carried variety that u don’t normally see. We had west coast oysters but average at $5 a piece which was on the pricey side.

Lobster roll was more light compared to chowder.

Overall great experience.

The namesakes were very well made, such as the lobster roll and oysters, which were really fresh. The mac and cheese was acceptable in taste but more expensive than expected. The scallops and pork starter were quite disappointing as the price was way too high for the small portion. There weren't a lot of people eating when I went, yet it took a long time for food to arrive, nearing 1 hour for all courses. While the restaurant had a lot of positives, a major drawback was the price, which was excessive.

Ordered half the menu and everything was delicious. Great drinks and service too. We enjoyed the live music outside.

We had an amazing experience here. Oysters were delicious. The chowder is amazing. Caviar was some of the best I ever had. Our server, Justin, led us though the courses with laughter, he was really a great time. We will be back next time we are in town.

Oysters are a must here. Love me east coast oysters and they have a great selection. My partner and I got our lobster roll fix. It’s a generous portion and absolutely worth every dollar.

Portion is a bit small for the price tag. We had the Pork Belly & Scallop and Tuna Salad. Taste is just okay. Waiting time for food is too long, more than 30 mins before the mains were served.

Place is great, best oysters, best Cesar, great service and seafood. Hipster atmosphere with a kids menu

I celebrated a birthday here and still think about it 2 years later. We can’t wait to return.

Oysters and lobster roll were the only good things but very over priced for a location in the middle of nowhere. Also they forgot to bring one of our dishes until we ordered again 30 mins later lol. Terrible service, and I mean terrible. Spent $100+ per person, absolutely NOT worth the value.

Absolutely phenomenal meal and service. I don’t drink alcohol, and our server went out of her way to get me the names of the non-alcoholic liquor that was used in their mocktails. Also, they have mocktails! We got the maple bread pudding, lobster roll, oysters, the pork and scallops- no complaints whatsoever.

This place, like so many others, has been on my to-do list for years.and did not disappoint. We went with friends and shared a good number of dishes; all of which were excellent. The service was great, the food incredible, definitely a place to try and then make a habit of!

We were greeted very warmly at the front door. Our server Carla was everything a server should be! Kind curteous and knowledgeable.
We had two virgin caesars. They were flavorful and unique. Jerky, shrimp and a bean!
The food was perfect. I came for oysters, did not disappoint. Atlantic and Pacific available at market price. Mix and match was perfect.
Truffle fries were the best I've had. Ever.
Mussels were fresh and cooked perfectly.

Everyone staff member on the floor,
at some point, stopped by our table and had some conversation or checked in on us. Nice teamwork.

Went in the afternoon, was pretty quiet, which was nice. I imagine dinner is packed.

Great place to visit while we were on a weekend getaway from Owen Sound.

If you love great food, fresh seafood and a good atmosphere, don't hesitate to check this place out!

You are still look great however they have so many selections that you have to do a full run and try each one to determine the one you like best. I'm going off the road was good but could use a little seasoning. The service was outstanding. Definitely makes it worth a visit

This place is fantastic, if you’re feeling indecisive take this as your sign to go here. Seafood is fresh and delicious, especially the lobster roll. Steak tartare was magical- so flavorful and unexpected. You can tell everything here is created with plenty of attention to detail. (Honey hibiscus margarita is perfection) Duncan and the bartender I believe was Justin, made our experience unforgettable. I highly recommend sitting at the bar to watch master shucker Duncan at work, and to enjoy their company and some laughs.

We absolutely love Tide and Vine! The oysters are always fresh and delicious. I had their smoked salmon and it's fantastic everytime. My husband had the daily po boy- absolutely delicious I wanted it all to myself. Servers were great- highly recommended and definitely make a reservation if you can!

Great food and service. We had the pickerel special which was fantastic. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable and attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant

My favourite go-to stop for seafood chowder, oysters and lobster rolls in Niagara Falls. Besides the food, the service and atmosphere are fantastic.

Good food, guy who served us is very entertaining and explained everything you need to know about their food, especially oysters. Overall I recommend this place, and I'll be back!

Our initial visit to Niagara Falls, and our 1st dining experience was very enjoyable! We had a casual dinner outside & our server was attentive & engaging. The Wif had her choice of fresh Oysters, recommended by the server, that were outstanding, my sm Chowder was crowded with a delectable variety of seafood & shellfish, both top notch! The Lobster Roll was fresh & tasty; the catch was a glazed Salmon & enjoyed by the Wif. Our featured dessert was a Cherry Cheese dessert in a glass shared by both of us - a great finish.

Now the not-so-good news; This is a pricey place! But. Since it was our initial Dining Experience in Ontario, perhaps not…y’all decide. With our 4x Manhattans ($16/a pop), 3 (tasty) Oysters ($4.30, $3.70, $4.30), and $34 for a Lobster Roll (1) (only1), etc, seemed Tourist-Trappy level. But WTH. We were vacation, others (locals) may find this…acceptable…
For an over $194 tab, we’ll find a different place next time…
