All began fine with my engagement ring and now this is a nightmare! One of the prongs was lifted somehow on my solitaire diamond (not even a year old) but thank god the diamond didn’t fall out. I’m very careful with my Jewlery and not sure how this happened other than catching on clothing - which they say is very possible. Seriously? ! Brought it to Tiffany’s on bloor in toronto mid august - it is now mid October and they still haven’t returned my ring. They were to send it somewhere to have it checked and despite being under warranty, they wanted over $300 to do the repair. I didn’t agree, asked to speak to someone higher up, which took an additional week to get a call back and that yielded even more disappointment. Asked to have it returned. That’s was at the start of September. It’s now mid October. Nobody is returning my calls and now I can’t seem to get through to their customer service. Feels like this engagement ring is tainted now. Just want it back, send to another jeweller, have it melted down and transformed into something that will be completely different to erase this terrible experience I have had with Tiffany’s.
Full disclosure: I have never had anything short of an amazing experience at a Tiffany & Co, but the Bloor location holds a very special place in my heart and is my go-to. No matter what brings you in, staff are welcoming, helpful and always go above and beyond to make your experience an incredible one.
I recently had a bad experience at this Tiffany location, and I was disappointed by the lack of care and attention that I received. I brought in a necklace with a broken chain for repair, and the repair associate who helped me was unfriendly and seemed annoyed that I was there. She did not ask for my purchase receipt when filling out the repair form, and slapped a $120 fee for a necklace that I had received as a gift less than six months ago.
In the past, I had been told that purchases within one year are covered by a one-year manufacturing warranty, so I was surprised and frustrated by the fee. When I picked up my necklace after the repair, I mentioned this. A different associate waived the fee, but then tried to gaslight me saying, “For future references, the warranty only applied to repairs” which left me feeling confused because didn’t I just wait two weeks for my necklace to be repaired?
Overall, my experience at this Tiffany location was not what I expected or hoped for. I usually have a great experience purchasing jewelry from this location, but I guess you get treated differently when you’re not spending thousands of dollars. The lack of customer service and attention was disappointing. I hope that Tiffany's can improve its customer service to ensure that all customers feel valued and appreciated, regardless of the reason for their visit.
I visited Tiffany’s in Yorkville TO on Friday to purchase a gift for my Neice. I was absolutely amazed by how how welcoming the staff was. I’d like to especially thank Joy for being so attentive.
Today I went to the store. Simon is an amazing sales person. Very friendly, patient and kindly. I hardly recommend him and I will definitely look for him in my next purchase!
Wow, don’t staff listen to the customer’s question (s) anymore? Unbelievable how poor the online chat was. I actually had to ask if I was speaking to a real person or a bot. Calling the store was only slightly better.
Tiffany & Co used to be known for great customer service. It appears unless you’re right there in the store they have no clue how to respond!
Was really impressed by this location. The staff was really friendly and I also noticed that they used non-gendered language when referring to customer’s spouses, partners, etc. I was assisted by Rosanna, who was lovely from start to finish and made sure I was well informed on all aspects of my purchase. Overall, this location gets a hearty 5 stars from me!
Had this Asian guy. Kind of weird. He kept saying we are bros and bros help each other out. That was his sale pitch… also after wards I wanted a certificate, he then never sent it to me. I had to talk to a store manager and had the manager send it over. Not good experiences man
Visited the store for the first-time last week with my sister and had a great experience. The staff were extremely well informed and courteous. Had the pleasure of being helped by Simon, who is the true definition of an expert sales professional.
Okay experience for what you will be spending there. Very nice and accommodating in the store but after your appointment there is no follow up. Was hoping for better service when it comes to this brand.
I mean if something should get 5 stars, it’s this place right? Well, no spoilers or surprises, it does. It sells jewelry, iconic stuff really, but it also sells leather goods, China, watches and gives away smiles. A beautiful, diverse and friendly staff so…yeah, that’s these guys
Was here yesterday to pick up my jewelry. Gave my slip to Peter and he went to go grab my jewelry. He came back showed the necklace to me and it looked clean but not as clean as could be.
Without me saying anything Peter said hold on a sec. He went to the back. After a few minutes he returned and the jewelry looked 100 times better.
Thank you Peter. I will be returning to you when i make my next purchase from Tiffanys.
Anyone looking to make a purchase here i highly recommend Peter.
The Toronto Bloor Street location is the top jewelry institution in North America. I found the level of professional service to be out of this world. The Sales Team from first phone call, to curbside or instore pick-up was amazing. I've purchased a lot of Tiffany & Co over the past year, to start my men's collection. The Sales Director Colleen and her managers- run a very tight, professional and high-quality ship. I have developed a wonderful, sincere and fun client sales associate friendship with Claudia. She helped me with all my pieces - giving me VIP treatment.
So if you're looking to buy a gift for yourself, or for a loved one - ASK FOR CLAUDIA! I always recommend you build a relationship with a Sales Associate like Claudia - intelligent, sincere, presentable, professional and tracked down rare pieces in other locations - having them shipped to me in a matter of days. Especially when making milestone investments and purchases of Tiffany pieces - you want to have someone like Claudia helping you find your pieces. Remember, Tiffany jewelry are heirloom pieces. Also, the one-stop shop to buy gifts for your family - sister, niece, aunt - but even the men in the family!
All I can say is that while online shopping is wonderful in many ways, I believe Tiffany's instore shopping stands above and completely apart from its competitors and also other luxury brands. The Sales Team and Client Services - are really the best experience. Reminds me of staying at the Four Seasons or other 5 - star stores - where you feel so special and so lucky to be there (which you are, if you're shopping at Tiffany).
So definitely don't hesitate to call in advance - and ask to be connected with the amazing sales team. My favorite is obviously Claudia! If I find myself getting remarried again in the future, Claudia and Colleen are invited to my wedding for sure!
Tiffany & CO. Toronto has such exceptional service. My husband dropped off two bracelets that needed cleaning and my beautiful Peretti necklace that needed to be fixed. They all came back delivered priority mail in pristine condition. My necklace is fixed and gorgeous and the staff at the Tiffany's Toronto is exceptional. Customer for life. Thank you especially during these trying times the experience and customer service is too knotch.
Having had some pretty negative experiences elsewhere, I typically don't visit high-end stores. My impression of sales reps at these stores is that they tend to judge what you wear when you arrive, and unless you're wearing something posh, they wouldn't bother introducing their products (but would still follow you around in a creepy way). As someone who dresses pretty casually on a daily basis, I tend to get the silent treatment at stores like this as if I couldn't afford anything there. Naturally, I was apprehensive when visiting this Tiffany store for the first time with my significant other a few weeks ago. To my surprise, I was blown away by the customer service and vibe here. Natasha, our sales professional, was attentive. She spent the time introducing the various products at Tiffany. We did not feel like we were being judged for what we were wearing upon arrival. We ended up purchasing a diamond band a few days later and came back occasionally just to browse the jewelry on display. We were impressed by the superb customer service and the laid back vibe at this store, and will definitely continue to patronize this store going forward.
Today I was thinking back on my visit here years ago in 2015. I worked a part time job and saved up a couple hundred dollars to afford probably the cheapest necklace here for a gift for my sister. It was my first time going to Toronto without my parents and I was super broke. I went to this store and from what I can remember I had a great experience. It was obvious I wasn't there to spend thousands of dollars but the staff still treated me like any other customer. I was greeted respectfully, shown what I was looking for, and the staff chatted with me and were very friendly. They even let me look at the engagement rings because I had never seen anything like them before. Remembering back to that time where I was a broke student but was determined to get something nice for my sister, I am glad I was made to feel welcome in such a high end store.
The stores are absolutely beautiful and service is always top notch, but the items I have been gifted or personally purchased from Tiffany & Co have for the most part been a let down. My jewellery tarnishes quicker then that of other stores and my most disappointing gift was the Tiffany & Co pen. It's uncomfortable to use and the flow when writing is choppy and clunky.
I am quite disappointed with Tiffay & Co. I ordered a shower gel from there and it arrived stating that it was from the flagship store on Bloor Street in Toronto. I feel tricked. It indicated on their website that it would arrive in a beautiful Blue Tiffany box. Instead it was thrown into a brown box with droopy white sad looking bow. Sent an email, called and a DM. Finally called back and spoke with someone in CS who did not answer with her name or indicate that she even worked at Tiffany. "Hello" was response, was told I had already been helped (not true) and then put on hold without asking. Very unprofessional. Very disappointed.all Tiitems will arrive in beautiful BlueTiffany box. Mine arrived in a brown b
My first experience was unfortunately during the lockdown, that's why I had to order by phone. I needed to add more length for a bracelet, and was advised by the online customer service to call directly to the store. I called Yorkdale store and was refused to place my order because 'we're in lockdown and our store is closed, so we cannot do any customization for you' - said by the sale associate. I was kind of confused and disappointed. However, I decided to call the Tiffany Store on Bloor St W to try my luck, and my experience was amazing. My sale associate (her name is Joy) was super nice, and she asked me a few questions to figure out what I was looking for. She took her time to check the size measurements and gave me advice for my desired length. The process took a bit longer because her system was a bit slow, but it's no big deal. I was able to place my order and got it shipped to my house with no problem (so I'm wondering why the Yorkdale store couldn't do it because of the lockdown? - as I know this store is also closed because of the lockdown). But anyway, Joy was awesome and super helpful! Thank you so much!
First time shopping at Tiffany's (Luxury goods). Very pleasant and easy experience. I went in knowing what I was shopping for but was pleased by the very professional and courteous style of service I received from all. The sales lady there was great (I missed her name). This location was spacious and had two levels. A department store style of mechanising. The shop was organized and clean. All covid precautions were taken and felt safe. I would diffinately shop there again.
I never had a bad experience here, even when I went there few times with my school/workout clothes to pick up my order they always tried to be polite and welcoming
Upscale and boutique, this flagship Tiffany store on Bloor is a cornerstone of Yorkville. Would've rated it 5 stars if it wasn't for the discerning head-to-toe look I was given by one of the staff as soon as I walked in the door just because I was wearing red sneakers with a trench coat on. I mean c'mon, if you can pull it off why not right.
Once you're past their stare however, you're greeted with two full floors of luxury goods and items guaranteed to get you out of the doghouse or prevent you from going in one. Don't overlook their leather products which are made with soft italian leather. The staff on the 2nd floor were accomodating, helpful, and friendly.
When people talk about how Important customer service is, this is actually true. I have entered the Tiffany store twice within two weeks for my first time in my life. The staff were welcoming and Anna helped me and my friend to buy our favorite rings. There is no pressure, you can take your time, eat cookies and feel home. Great Experience!
I ordered an engraved necklace for my wife. When she opened the box they unfortunately sent the wrong size. I called them the next day and I explained the issue. They promptly sent me the correct size.
Problems happened and they were fixed quickly. Customer service was excellent.
I went in to purchase a last minute gift for my family member. However, the necklace I had in mind was not in stock in the store. The lady who helped me was fantastic, helped me order a new one and have it altered at their warehouse. It took a total of only three business days for me to get the necklace shipped to my house. Everyone from the security team at the entrance to all the ladies we encountered on our way were super friendly. Thank you sincerely for another great shopping experience.
I came here over the Thanks Giving weekend and the sale rep was very helpful. I purchase a the tiffany victoria bracelet and was very happy with this purchase. Great service. Thank you!
Today I picked up a necklace that I had cleaned for my husband. I asked the lady if I could have a cleaning cloth to take home to help keep it clean. She told me that it would cost 5 dollars. The last time the gentlemen gave me one at no charge. It's not the cost that bothers me it's the fact they were going to charge me. You would think that a store like Tiffany would want the costumer to be happy leaving the store. This little thing bothered me. Maybe Tiffany isn't my choice anymore. Jack Zulauf
My Fiancee went to pick up her wedding band we paid and ordered from another place. Got interrogated. By saying interrogated because she got all the bad attitude from the sale lady. I understand that sales gets upset when only providing service, however, you represent Tiffany, where clients paid overprice for professional service. The least you should do is giving client/potential client attitude.
I called ahead of time and they were so nice to me and helped me pick out rings and fed me coffee and cookies, such a pretty store with nice friendly and approachable sale people, definitely everything about Tiffanies has improved, the sales people are nicer than last time I went they have more options for rings and the store just has a better vibe overall.
Had a fantastic experience here! Service was amazing (I believe our salesperson's name was Anna) and we were treated so kindly. It was one of the best shopping experiences I've ever had.
Unlike many other high end jewelry stores this one was the greatest experience. Simon the sales man made me feel very welcomed and was knowledgeable about all the jewelry in the store, recommended best deals and top notch products. Definitely would come back for more. Cheers
Great customer service! Charlene got my friend a tea and Tiffany cookies in these cute little plates while she waits for me to pick a nice present for my mom! Jeff and Charlene are both very helpful and pleasant to interact with!
