This hospital is a joke to Healthcare. 7 hours before they took in a person and its not even close to being busy

I would rather die than go to this pathetic excuse for a hospital. If you are under staff then shut your doors there is no need for ANYONE TO WAIT 8 hours to be seen. While I watch the doctor go in and out for smokes!

First time going to this ER, the wait was minimal and the care was by far the best I have received in a long time.

The worst hospital I have ever been to! They took my son in and registered us to a room as the wrong person. A nurse came in to assess him and said she was there to suture his eye laceration…his arm was the issue. She then proceeded to tell us that the doctor would need to see him before ordering an X-ray, when the lady at the front said she had ordered him one. Another nurse came in to tell us she was going to take him to X-Ray only 5 minutes later while the original nurse was standing there. She just shrugged her shoulders and said, oh well I don’t know. It was so bad that even if something was wrong, there was no WAY I would have let them touch my son. This hospital needs to be reported, it’s a medical nightmare.

ER wait times are appalling. I’m here with my elderly father who is bleeding. We are going on 7 hours and still haven’t been seen by a doctor. There is 1 doctor on duty. Unacceptable.

One of the worst hospital in the world by far. I visited this "hospital" twice in the emergency. The first one I waited over 7 hours and not even a single patient took in. The second time I visited, it was at 4 am and there were no patients at all yet I waited 4 hours. I asked people working over there why it takes so long and they told me there are patients already back there. Unless they are all getting surgery at 4 am I don't see any reason for waiting 4 hours. After 4 hours of waiting, 2 more patients came in. I waited with those patients for 2 more hours on a Sunday morning. After that, I went somewhere else that can take care of me. This hospital is just there for decoration in the town. The doctors (if they have any), and nurses working there either not enough or they just take one patient per day because there is no other explanation I can give to you. Unless you are in a near-death situation, I really don't recommend this hospital, and if you are in that kind of situation (hopefully not), don't wait for any assistance because they don't care at all.

If I could rate this hospital a - 5 I would. Emergency doctor told my mother that she needed surgery the following day but she could go home for the night. The doctor told my mother no food, limited water, to leave the IV in, and they would call after 8am to schedule another scan and surgery. It is now after 8pm and no call. We called mid-afternoon, and the nurse said she was discharged and that there is nothing else on her record. After confirming that the IV was still in her arm, the nurse said she would get in touch with the doctor and give us a call back. No call back has been received.

If I could put 0 stars I would. Called the hospital to see if we should bring our 8 month old in, the triage nurse very rudely commented she can’t give phone advice which is fine. But she didn’t give us the number like she said. And very fast and abruptly hung up on us before we could say another word. Worst nurses I’ve ever met. Don’t go there if you’re even dying.

Start to finish ER was as would be expected from any hospital, in the middle of the night. Staff were all very friendly and the doctor had good bedside manners. Thank you Dr. Samer, all of the nurses, and all other staff! The night was very lively, and was far more entertaining than my book, p

The absolute worst hospital. I have never left this hospital without tears. I recently took my baby there- she had been limp and screaming in pain. We got there before 4 pm and didn’t see a doctor until 9: 15 that night. In another case- during covid I had to rush my husband to the hospital in a possible life threatening condition that I won’t get into. It was 2 in the morning, not a single person in the waiting room. A group of nurses was mingling WITH NO MASKS ON. And when I went to wait with my two month old baby they told me I couldn’t be there due to Covid policies. It was the middle of winter, a huge snowstorm and they sent me outside in the middle of the night. This isn’t even near all the negative experiences I have had there. Take my advice, go to Woodstock.

Will never be going back to this hospital. Would never recommend this hospital to anyone. Triage is ABSOLUTELY disgusting with their patients. I have never felt so angry and frustrated about services in a hospital.
I called this afternoon about a concern I had with my sons arm and was refused service by triage as I was in st Thomas hospital last night. I called Tillsonburg hospital and was told to bring him in right away and did so, and was refused service by the worker today in triage. I had gotten told by st Thomas hospital that they didn’t know if his arm was broken or not because of how much swelling there was last night so this morning when the swelling went down I called tillsonburg hospital to see him and was disgusted by the way they had talked to me. I came in wanting a second opinion as well as his arm to be looked at again as the swelling had went down quite a bit and got told that “I should have listened to the professional that seen my son last night and 10 days is 10 days. If my sons arm is broken I don’t want to sit around and wait 10 days. Thanks Tillsonburg for absolutely nothing.

THEY DON'T CARE! I was witing with my wife in a EMPTY ER for more than 6 hours and NO ONE CARE! The doctors had fun gossiping in indian language and enjoy their bottled juice, and walked like no one was there. Only a nurse came at every 30 mins to ask if we need more Tylenol. SERIOUSLY? I felt like I was in a Tylenol store not in a hospital, THEY GIVE TYLENOL FOR EVERYTHING! The medical system is broken because of incompetent and lazy "doctors" like the ones from Tillsonburg! STAY AWAY FROM THIS SO CALLED HOSPITAL, I use to donate money for this hospital every single month. NOT ANYMORE!

After waiting 3 hours in Emergency on a Friday night the attending doc said my tonsils were not infected. They were removed when I was 5 and didn’t grow back. Just take more Tylenol. Monday at my doc after a lousy weekend diagnosed with a massive sinus infection. Antibiotics 4 ten days. WOW!

It should be called a nursing home care. We have be waiting with a 9 year old with a swollen neck and pain for 5 hours. Every old person was in in less the 2 hours. They have signs everywhere " no bullying" I think making a kid sit in pain and crying for that long is bullying. I was told by a nurse after waiting 7 hours and I asked her if I could make a appointment for the test he need I was told I had to sign a release against Dr order and she would call the children aid for not providing health care. It took 11 hours there and then 5 days in sick kids.

Not your go to place if you need immediate health care. Wait time for my daughter in emerg was 8 hours and still had to come back the next day, and told to wait again to get in for an xray. Short staffed? Not to mention xray order was written out to the person next to us in the waiting room!

If I could give less of a rating than one, I would. My mother has a heart condition and went to the ER, sitting there for hours before she seen the doctor and then in the middle of restoring her heart with medication, he left to pray! WOW!
I once drove to Ingersoll to go to the ER because of how bad this hospital is.
I have stories of literally every person in my family that have gone to this hospital and we refuse to return there. It's like having a hospital in your area that sucks so bad it's just better to drive to other hospitals and risk the chance of dying. It is very clearly the worse hospital in Ontario.
Look at the ratings.

Went to toe the ER at 2: 05am for a cut on forehead. There was no patients waiting.
Didn't see a doctor until 7: 00am.

Nurses not bad tend to forget you after awhile. Came in with the wife and waited over 7 hours trying to see doctor just so we could get a prescription
