Unfortunately the service at this location is extremely poor to say the least, 45 min to issue gift cards. Then when I tried to use them cards they are not activated. And now one at the location is welling or able to help. Poor service.
I’m VERY disappointed with Tim Hortons. Once a original CANADIAN brand which was multicultural is now run to the ground.
You’ve decided to focus on purely profits…. Replacing our members of the community with migrants which barely speak English & that don’t understand culture basics. This is due to your FRANCHISE MANAGER only desiring to primarily hire their own from india…. This is not only about this location ALL YOUR LOCATIONS have been infiltrated & it’s clear as day to everyone but most won’t speak up.
Canadians Deserve better. Enough with messing up orders …. Poor manners & individuals who hire mainly only ONE ethnicity.
We went to have dinner at Tim Hortons. I ordered a bowl of chili for myself and a bowl of chili for my son. After I had paid, I was told that they were out of chili. We agreed to take a bowl of soup. Staff didn't notice, but I did, that the soup was cheaper than the chili and that I was owed a refund. Sad that I had to ask and that they weren't noticing. The store wasn't sparkling clean. The floor was a bit dirty and the veneer had been peeled off the table. Overall, it didn't meet my expectation of a Tim Hortons franchise location.
My daily go-to for coffee, the old lady at drive thru is always so friendly and welcoming. They prepare everything much more rapidly compared to other Tim’s locations
So I go to the drive thru to get a coffee the girl hands me my change and drops a two dollars on the ground I try to open my door but I am too close there are four cars behind me so I can’t back up, and the person serving me says have a nice day and shuts the window omg seriously!
I’ve stopped going to this location, this is the most convenient location for me and will drive to another one to avoid it. The food is always meh and the Ice Capp from this location are just pure liquid instead of a normal Ice Capp consistency. Hope they can turn it around but after trying for 2 years I am done with this location.
A good place to sit down for a few and get some studying done. Is very cold though, as if they leave some opening somewhere. And they should specify that the dining room closes at 11 pm, cause on the website it says 24 hours. That seems like false information.
Language barrier. Ordered loaded chills, ilke the banner showed got regular Chilli, manager says we don't sell that anymore because it is so expensive. He did fix it.
Normally the drive thru staffs are nice. But when I ordered at Nov 3 2022 9: 55pm, I asked the staff if they had habanero chicken, a white lady staff answered they didn't have it. When I asked it if I could have a crispy chicken instead, she replied 'No' very rudely. Your attitude is offensive.
This is my go-to Tim’s. I always use the drive thru. I am always amazed how fast & efficient they are. Have never had any issues with orders. Staff are friendly and seem to enjoy what they do.
One of my favorite Tim Hortons in Waterloo. It is conveniently located in a good Plaza with Gino's Pizza and relatively close to my home. The plaza has multiple exits from multiple streets which makes it even more accessible.
Feel bad for all new workers. There was a new guy on cash and Maryanne was so rude. Didn’t offer any help to him and just yelled at him. Plus she was really mean to us when we asked what they put in the wrap everyone else is super nice tho
Fast service, great customer experience. These guys made sure I got my order right, and were really patient with my long order, and their new staff. Keep up the great work!
Old little lady with specs working here is very rude.saw her swearing at one of the employees and using the ‘f’ word under the breath.such a healthy work environment. Not toxic at all:)
There's casual xenophobia and then there's whatever I just experienced at their drive through at 07: 30 this morning. Not everyone is fully familiar of all the variations of the menu. Usually BELT bagel means Bagel, Bacon, Egg, Lettuce and Tomato for a server to express irritation and impatience and to ask if it's a sausage Belt and if there should be egg on it makes no sense. If you hate foreigners then maybe don't work in a client facing role in Ontario! So disappointing and humiliating.
This location always gives wrong change back and just today I asked for a Tim bit and she made it a donut.when I said I wanted the tim bit she said I already paid for the donut.gave me the tim bit instead but didnt even give me the money difference back. I know it's not much but that isn't proper service. Taking extra money all the time.this location is bad make shure u count your money.
Sadly i usually have the worst experiences here so I try to avoid. Edit over the months they have gotten better. Still needs to not put people who can't speak basic English or do basic math at the til as it gets annoying
Literally the worst tims in the city. I have dropped by a few times 10 mins before closing time and they have a chair on the inside closing the door? Even though it’s not closing time? The old lady there is just not polite at all. They’re also always yelling at the new employees …just not a spot to have coffee!
Sorry I had to visit this place 3am drive thru. Had to wait quite a few minutes and a number of 'hellos' until the employee responded. Fine. The employee told me they had nothing ready to serve except for bagels. I think breakfast menu starts at 10 pm. They didn't have either.
This review is for the Tim Hortons on Phillips and Albert Street. I really enjoy this Tim Hortons actually, there is an older lady that works there. I swear she never goes home, so friendly. There are many other friendly people that work there too, just a nice Timmys. Every time I walk in the door someone’s always cleaning and wiping something down. They are friendly clique and never screw up my orders I wish I could say the same for other Tim’s. This one’s self approved
The employees are not polite. I was picking up my coffees and doughnut off the counter but, before I could I was told to get out of the way by a supervisor so an employee could get through. Also the hand dryer in the men's bathroom would take 20 mins for it to dry someone's wet hands if they were patient enough to test it. Last but this goes for all public venues if you're enforcing the mask dress code then provide the masks for individuals who may have forgot theirs or needs a new one for sanitary purposes.
I’ve been today for coffee, the staff was very rude, they don’t know how to speak politely with customers. While I was going just near the chair to sit, lady at reception shouted really loud & asked for vaccines report. It was very embarrassing Tim bit’s wasn’t fresh, tasted stale! However French vanilla was awesome! !
Very rude staff, they talk to you as if you owe them something personally. When people can be anything in this world, why not be kind. I go here because this is very close to my home. But this is the last time I visited. Will NEVER EVER be coming here again. PATHETIC EXPERIENCE
I've never seen employees at a Tim Hortons as rude as ones in this store. The place is also quite dirty; floor has garbage and spills and tables are not wiped down after use.
They ask people for their vaccination records when they try to sit down without purchase. However they didn't ask me or my friend for our records since we made purchases.
This location has some serious management issues. Would not visit again.
She doesn’t understand my order My order was steak and egg English muffin She give me something creamy cheese And then I packed to store but she give me another thing I hope next time listen clearly to customers what they want. Thanks
The older front workers are the rudest and grumpy people I have come across in customer service. I feel sorry for the trainees. Always ask for your coffee to be filled up all the way or you will be getting a size smaller then you paid for.
This is the TIM Hortons branch I always use. While I was sitting inside, 2 separate personnel came and took me out, saying that I would not sit inside because I did not shop here, it only belonged to the customers. First, an employee came and asked for a vaccination card, and I showed it. Later, another employee came and rudely said, "Get in line and get something, or get out". In Canada, the land of kindness and humanity, this behavior was not pleasant at all.
I always take coffee and bagels from this tim since last 1 year. Bt since last 2 week i am facing issue only at Saturday morning 5 am. The customer service is too rude and unprofessional. This happened 2 times. The food is not made properly plus if we ask for something else it is said in rude manner!
If you'd like a good experience here I'd recommend not going on the weekend. Gave us the wrong drink, paid for a muffin, got a cookie, and ordered a toasted and buttered bagel, got a bagel that was: 1. Not Toasted 2. Bot Buttered And 3. Not sliced.
Properly placed Tim Hortons. More Tims should be located around train stations. How I miss a Tim Hortons near Fairway station! My normal routine. Get down at Borden station while going to friend's place in Downtown Kitchener. Take French vanilla and enjoy the Canadian weather.
This morning, April 23rd, 2021 at 6: 45AM, I had an interaction with a cashier named Donna, who felt the need to correct my English multiple times in the span of a couple of minutes. None of the corrections she made were actually meaningful, but apparently asking for "tissue" instead of "napkins" is a terrible mistake (and that was only ONE of the things she harped me on).
I have never felt this unaccepted when speaking this language. Donna, just because English isn't my first language, you don't have to actively discriminate against me. Racism is not a good look for you and your employer.
I will be filing an official complaint but I just want to make sure that a record of this interaction is kept in the public domain.
Probably the least reliable tim hortons in waterloo. Their wedges are always soft and soggy and never fully cooked. Coffees taste like they are microwaved, and they do not put enough care into making their sandwiches. Will not be coming back to this location, Thank you.
This Tim Hortons does not have the competence to get an order right. I have gotten food here almost every day for a week and they have yet to get an order right. Please hire new staff.
Crispy chicken Craveable sandwich - give it 2 stars, only because the bun is just OK; rest of the sandwich is sad. Service here was a little slow and a little rude. Don't think I'll be back. Tim's.you need to up your game.
It’s a Tim’s so there should be no shock. The food, coffee and and customer service are so dependant on timing and employee. Had lovely service and also dealt with not so nice service:/
I've visited twice and both times witnessed the manager (Maryanne) being very verbally abusive to the staff. I've never witnessed such an awful manager in my life. And ON TOP of that she's also rude to costumers. The whole time I was sitting down she was giving me death glares. Will never return to this Tim Hortons again
People domt just write good reviews coz of good food unless they are specifically asked for. This location is by far my most favourite tim hortons in entire kw area. I drive all the way from chandler dr to this location just to have evening coffee. Staff doesn’t know me but yet they manage to make the perfect tasting order for me every single time. I always order dark roast tripple tripple with everything bagel double toasted with herb and garlic cream cheese. This location has the best food in all tim hortons i have ever visited. I dnt know how this is possible but i get different taste in every other outlets. This one’s the best. Cheers!
Usually I like Tim hortons it's pretty standard but I got a sandwich from them that had an obscene amount of mayonase on it to the point that no living person would ever eat it. I had to scrape 90% of it off and had enough to make 10 more sandwiches after.
Used to be less buys than the king street location until COVID. Only good if you don't ask for any modifications (asking for no whip cream you'll still get whipped cream Repeatedly)
Absolutely the worst coffee I have ever had. It was like water with cream. Is Tim Horton's running hot water through pack of coffee multiple times to save money? We need more Mcdonalds locations in town so we don't have to suffer Tim Horton's coffee anymore. One star because I couldn't do less.
The chicken fingers seemed more like they were made from rubber chickens instead of free range zero hormone chickens like I would've expected, I nearly threw up eating the chicken fingers
The older lady who works here is extremely rude to the customers and her coworkers. Encountered her recently at the drive thru. She left partway and someone else took over and completed the order. As I was leaving she was tossing out the trash at the back and cursing LOUDLY. I dont know if it was directed at anyone in particular but I was quite shocked. People like her should not be in the service industry. I felt sorry for her coworkers who have to deal with her bad attitude on a daily basis.
Had some communication issues where I was misunderstood (wrong order and how to use a coupon which resulted in me having to pay out-of-pocket) but it's overall decent.
We were taken care of quickly with our coffees but had to wait over 6 minutes for our food. We had to bring it to the managers attention we were still waiting. Normally they are pretty good there. At least they got our food right.
Where do I start…. If you can go to another Timmies i suggest it because this one is by far the worst I’ve ever been to. I’ve had so many order screw ups at this location I cannot count how many, from hot drinks made wrong or the wrong size, to my lunch order not being what I actually ordered to being yelled at by a specific grumpy old woman “manager”…the list goes on and on. The majority of staff at this location are not english speaking, most of the time I must state my order 3-4 times so they can understand what I actually want only to end up with the order being messed up anyways. If you are in any kind of rush, completely avoid this Tim Hortons. Be prepared to wait 10-15 minutes for anything food related that needs to be prepped. I have been late for work so many times, even giving myself 20 extra minutes just to obtain lunch at this location prior to my shift starting just to leave with something I didnt order or no lunch at all, a refund and that 20 minutes wasted. They seem to only focus on drive thru as I have personally watched 7 cars complete their transaction while im still waiting for a pathetic over priced wrap that isnt made correctly 90% of the time. When you call to complain about your order not being correct you get excuses and hung up on, when you complain in store they try to rectify it by handing a non coffee drinker a coupon for free coffee…. I truly believe this entire location staff need to be properly trained on food service and customer service INCLUDING THE “MANAGERS” I am Canadian. I absolutely Love Tim Hortons, but this Tim Hortons is a disgrace to the name. Don’t waste your time or money.
Waking up to a fresh tea every morning and having service at this Tim Hortons you don't even have to put in an order they know what you want and it's all delicious
I am complaing about the rewards also about the employee that served us. My daughter went to redeem her reward as she has bought 7 coffees. When i gave the order i told him i have a reward and that i would like to use it.then i proceeded to give him the order as she wanted a lg ice coffee.then i put my order in. We go to the window and he scans the reward then asks for her to pay for the ice coffee. I said that it was free as she had a reward. He proceed to tell me that it don’t wok on cold drinks and that i had to pay. But he took her reward and she didn’t get it back. No where does it say that u cant use cold drinks and if u couldn’t why didn’t he say that before he scanned and took her reward hand as i don’t think he knew what he was doing. Then a girl came to the window to proceed to tell me she didn’t have a free reward but obviously she did cause it don’t restart on its own and to argue with me about it.
