Tim & Sue's No Frills

Friendly advise, if you are a visible minority, please stay away from this place for your own good. The old lady, who I assume is the manager, will give you her dirty look the least. And God forbid you need any kind of assistance with self check-out machine, regardless of your age, attitude, demeanor you will get a condescending scold of your life. On the flip side, visiting this store will give you a taste of time-travel experience. The moment you enter through the door, you are at 1950s. You feel like a black person entering white-only grocery store, so thanks a lot Tim & Sue's No frills. Much appreciated

They updated there self check put but haven't gotten rid of the bag part even though they don't offer bags at self check out. What they did do is add ot so you can't put your bag near theachine now and if you don't put it in the scanned area after you have scanned it the machine will freeze for a minute. My guess is this is why they have a massive line now for self check out. I don't blame staff hear but their head office is dumb for this update.

For more than a decade ive been a pretty devoted loyal and satisfied customer with Tim & Sue’s No Frills. My most recent visit was a heartbreaking disappointment - where did the sweet down-to-earth staff go? What is Manager Loni’s problem, was she rude to me because she was having a bad day or does she hate her job? Probably won’t be back, especially since No Frills is also affiliated with the Criminal Galen Weston aka Loblaws. Times are tough and sad indeed.

Many No name no frills items missing. Even stock of regular vegetables were very less on the day of visit.

My first time to this store. I found it to be much better than other No Frills. They had all the items that I could not get at the No Frills I normally shop at. YAHOO, I will be back here! Often. Store is spotless and well organized.

Leave expired food out for sale. Ate some, got food poisoning. Was only offered a refund or exchange.

Visited this no frills location and bought an ice cream on sale from here and cannot believe they would sell ice cream that is spoilt, attaching pictures of the container and what I received, I cannot find the receipt since I opened this 2 days after buying it at the stores hoping to enjoy it on weekend. Extremely disappointed with this no frills location, please be aware of the things on discount at this no frills location!

Love this place! It is always organized, and the staff are friendly and efficient. Great selection of gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan products.

Big fan of this No Frills. Great selection of food and their music selection is just non-stop classics. Really enjoy shopping here.

I was here for the first time the Thursday before Easter and it was insanely crowded. No way to get around it without passing much closer than 2 metres from people. The lineup for the registers was so long it was blocking entrances to a couple of aisles and taking up most of another. People almost touching each other to pass. People seemed to be trying their best to keep at least some distance but it just wasn't possible to do consistently. There was someone at the door limiting how many people could enter but the number they were allowing in was way too high. I think they must have been busier than usual because of the long weekend coming, but I hope they can figure out next how to plan better for such eventualities! It's just not a big enough store for the number of people they were allowing in. I may try to check one more time and see if it feels safer at an off peak time, otherwise I will have to find somewhere else in the area until after the pandemic.

Edit: I have gone back since and have yet to find a time of day it isn't excessively crowded or where it's possible to follow social distancing. Even at their 'off peak' times they let so many people in that it's constantly crowded.

Great no nonsense place but they're trying very hard to be like costco. All categories & aisles are mixed up.so enjoy spending time in the store trying a little extra hard to find what you need.

This place is like a well oiled Covid fighting machine. Everytime I am in here, always have staff diligently disinfecting and wiping the self checkout area, every cashier disinfecting their station after every transaction. Always have staff on the floor cleaning and tidying up shopping baskets and carts. Staff at the front entrance monitoring number of people coming in, as well as making sure everyone wears their mask. During the busier time when there is a long line up for check out, you can expect there is a staff directing the line up, makes checking out so much quicker, safer and more efficient.
Even though they might not have a very large selection and choice of products, but definitely good enough to have all the essentials for everyday needs. Fresh produce, competitive pricing. For all these great points, I would always try to drive an extra distance to shop here instead of going to the few supermarkets that are much closer to home.

Great location with parking especially in the area with limited street parking. The place is relative clean and they re-stock quickly. Not a bad place to do shopping and grab a quick bit around the area afterwards.

Staff and owners are rude. Prices are ok just make sure you check expired dates. Lots of spoiled food. Produce don't even bother

This No Frills always has everything I need and they do a great job keeping the produce fresh. They have lots of products. Also during the pandemic I have really appreciated how careful they have been, including reminders to give space and wear masks properly.

Staff was helpful and great, but shopping experience is negatively effected by the publics lack of social distancing and ability to follow public health guidelines.

Great prices on all sorts of produce and products! Always friendly staff and always clean completely stocked shelves! I really like shopping here!

I absolutely adore Tim & Sue's NoFrills. It is so clean, well-organized, and exceptionally stocked. Their staff are kind and welcoming, and doing a marvellous job to keep the store safe during COVID-19. It's also nice to see Tim and Sue supporting staff and shoppers directing traffic at the check out. This is my favourite grocery store in Toronto.

Shopping here was a very nice experience! The store is much cleaner than any other No Frills in Toronto, stocked well and the staff is really nice and kind - I didn't have problem shopping with coupons, something that is apparently not so common! Absolutely recommended if you're in the area and you're looking to restock your fridge!

This No Frills just south of Dundas Street West in the heart of the Junction is a great place to pick up affordable essentials.

Good location near Dundas St W & Keel St. Huge free parking lot.
Very Clean & Organize Store

Lots of the shelving is rusted (eg.for the milk bags) which gets on to the product which ends up on your cloths if you are not careful. It's been like this for a long time and they don't care.

Look forward to coming again- lots of good options, decent pricing. Can only do so much dealing with the current social distancing so check out lineups are long but once you reach the cashiers/self checkout its smooth sailing

Not a lot of ethnic selection ie produce and rice
And on toilet paper aisle products location and labels are incorrect ie 4 or 5 labels for one brand of toilet paper very confusing

One of the best-organized grocery store in the city - particularly important in COVID times. Great selection of goods, well laid-out lineup and checkout, courteous staff (which in turn encourages the shoppers to be just as kind). We're all in this together - shopping with social distancing doesn't have to be a chore! Also has ample parking if you drive.

Best No Frills I've been to, hands down! Big, large aisles, great selection, and they have lots of gluten free options.

A drawback on our case was the lack of variety in the prepared salads category, but perhaps No Frills is not known for that.

A pretty standard No Frills but a well maintained one. The sanitization setup near the door was nice and the inside was clean with a decent amount of space to move around in. I liked how they have everyone line up in one line and then the cashiers call out for the next person; it's a much more organized system than the usual free-for-all at a grocery store.

Grumpy lady to store, was early in the morning, buy flowers she tru the flower and they fall a part, she did return my money and put the flower back to resale them.nice, after I ask why shy put back they are no more good for resale she say HAVE NICE DAY.good service from the grumpy lady.

Great grocery store. They have great procedure during covid. Sanitizer for everyone, Cart sanitizing station and the queues for the cashier makes it easy and fast to finish your shopping trip.
You can tell the owners care about their community.

Good place with a lot of Indian and south East Asian products available. Staff is helpful too. That are following the public health guidelines quite well

Great store. Always clean and plenty of selection on veggies/ fruits. Cashier could be a bit nicer sometimes but overall great. Good to have in the neighborhood.

Good grocery store this is the first time comeing here. Only reason imperfect score 1) the pizza dough is frozen Tim & Sue should have fresh dough delivered from the bakery.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to all the staff in store for your excellent work in maintaining social distancing practices. Never too many people allowed in the store as there's an employee counting heads at entrance. Carts sanitized. Check out line managed with clear markers of how to stand and staff helpfully directing to next available check out. Way to go guys <3. We see you and we APPRECIATE YOU.

It's a standard No Frills. There doing their best to provide guidance for safe social distancing but it's up to the customers to follow that guidance.
