Timber Ridge Golf Course

I have been golfing at Timber Ridge now for about 13 years. I played my last game of the season yesterday and would be remiss if l didn't say that Timber has become one of the premier golf courses in the area. The fairways, greens, bunkers and the entire surrounding area with the many improvements over the past year has elevated this course to the top tier. From the new golf pro to the new superintendent to the the front end staff Timber Ridge is a class act. Even this late in the season l still noticed improvements being worked on yesterday.

Was out for two rounds at Timber Ridge yesterday, September 4th. I've played it a number of times before and basically knew what the course was about. But yesterday was a joke. The pins were cut in incredibly terrible positions, more fitting of the Tough Enough tourny, not a long weekend. Not to mention the amount of sand on the greens, the putting was insufferable. Whoever cut the pins in those spots either;

a) doesn't golf
b) is heartless

The starter said he would have unalived himself (not his actual words, but you get it) if he had to play them. A marshal said "I don't get it, you want people to come back, you want them to have fun".

Not sure if the sand is the culprit, but the greens were near impossible to hold. I'm a player with plenty of height and spin and it was a tall ask.

Overall we had a fun day, the course was in good shape, staff were all friendly, pace was good. Literally nothing to complain about otherwise. But whoever cut those pins needs a talking to. Ridiculous.

Wedding… unbelievable… 3 times in the span of 7 hours dinner included in this time frame, the bar was close for OVER 30 mins
when asked why we were told some people broke the rule by drinking in the driveway with own alcohol HOWEVER golfers coming off the course drank their own alcohol from their own coolers in the parking lot and drove home?
Told the wedding bar total was (which is money in their pocket) was to high they closed to assess what to do?
Told we would have to lower the noise (this LONG BEFORE 11: 30

Incredible! One of the best courses I've ever played, rivals some of the best private courses in Canada. I see some reviews saying the greens are problematic,
. Well.get a better short game. These are pro tournament conditions. I scrapped my plans to play 2 other courses in the area so I can come back and try to shoot my handicap here. If I didn't live 4hrs away, I would be a member here In a heartbeat. Kind staff, fantastic course. Thank you

Great course in great shape. It's very well designed and laid out. Only complaint was a couple of the bunkers were trash. But the other 90% of the bunkers were amazing. Greens rolled very well and fast

Beautiful course very tricky greens played the ride and dine on a Thursday and the steak at the 19th hole was great.

Very nice and well maintained course. Par 5s and 4s included as well as Par 3s. Picturesque views. Easy course to walk all 18 holes.

Man, beautiful course. The greens are too fast for me.a bit of a struggle. Meal was delicious. Chicken, ribs, fish were at our table and all tasty and servers were outstanding. Good variety on beer cart, good pace of play and great deal for golf, cart and mealx2

Accolades to Nolan, the Timber Ridge Pro who came out onto the course (Sunday) and assisted in moving the slower players along to speed up the pace of play. Thankyou!

Best course I’ve ever played, tons of variety. Greens are fast and challenging. Only con was some of the farm field fairways were on the longer side of grass, but understandable given the sun they get. Would highly recommend.

Absolutly beautiful course. 10/10 condition. The greens are always in perfect condition and challenging. 100% would recommend this course to anybody. I would challenge anybody within an hour of this place to find the same value that Timber Ridge offers.

Thanks a million to Timber Ridge Golf Course for hosting my son and daughter-in-law's wedding photos. Your staff were amazing and the golfers that passed us by were top notch, even letting us borrow their cart for a photo op.

The course was amazing as usual. Excellent condition and the scenic layout can't be beat! We had a delicious dinner and cold beverage afterwards. The restaurant staff was very friendly. Can't wait to go back.

Just played this course last week and was so amazed at how well groomed it is! I have played some high end golf courses and Timber Ridge is at the top of the list! Fairways and greens are like PGA status! Staff were amazing!

Layout is decent. 10 is absolutely stupid, almost unplayable. The greens are the dumbest greens I’ve ever played on… and I’ve played a lot of golf courses. Course is in good shape. Could be a special spot if the greens were so stupid. Won’t be back solely because of the greens.

The course conditions are nice, and it's challenging enough. I would like to point out the great effort they've put into improving the approach around the greens (specifically the bunkers).

However, we don't see the value of this course costing $90-$100. Which is the reason we rarely play here. Might as well play Black Bear for the price

Such a gorgeous golf course.

Attended for a work function and it was so well organized!   Carts were all lined up, ready to go, and everyone was shown to their starting holes for the shotgun start.

Ground were very well kept and stunning.   Nice clubhouse and shop as well.

If you have not played this course, put it on your bucket list.fairways and greens in excellent condition, bunkers have beautiful white, fluffy sand.most greens have interesting undulations and depending on pin position will challenge most golfers.it was a pleasure to play!

Loved it course was in magnificent condition highly recommend if you want to challenge yourself on an excellent course in excellent condition TR is the place (2 thumbs up)
