Tip Top (Tailors since 1909)

I was racking my brain over what to purchase for my father for his birthday, and thus absolute super star of an employee helped me out today. Got me exactly what I knew he'd like. Thank you, Alex!

I bought two pants at Tip Top in Calgary but was only there for two days and they couldn’t hem them for me. I was told I go to Amy Tip Top and get them done. Since I was in Oshawa for two weeks I went there. There was a lady and a gentleman at the counter. I asked if I could get the pants hemmed. They said yes but would take two weeks. I wasn’t going to be here for that long and explained my situation. The gentleman tried to explain and gave me a card of someone but the lady just went off it’s wedding season graduation season I can’t put you in front…. She was rude and just continued going on. I asked for a number to complain and was told to search on the website. The gentleman was trying to say something but she just cut him off. She went on and on. Finally after she finished I asked for a number of her manager and she finally gave it to me. Horrible service I would never go there again

100 percent would not recommend going to this location. Horrible customer service. I went on July 19th with my fiancé to buy multiple suits for my groomsmen. However nobody checked for us or helped us out. Felt there was no need to spend my hard working money on a company that does care about us!

Poor selection, bad service, and the store is falling apart. Their change rooms are acting as storage closets. Go somewhere else.

Brides and Grooms I would 100% NOT recommend this place. We had the worst experience for our wedding. This location is impossible to get ahold of on the phone. We live an hour and a half outside of the city so just dropping by wasn't an option for us. We ended up having to call the Polo Park location to get help, and even they said that the Kenaston location doesn't answer their phone. They never called us when the groomsmen shirts came in, we ended up having to contact TipTop Tailors head office email, and they had to email this location to get them to contact us. My husband went in to pick up his suit and shirt, as well as another groomsman's suit and shirt. I am happy I checked when he got back as the shirts given to them were different brands and materials, meaning we had to make another trip in. We didn't get any apologies or extra assistance. The whole ordeal was super painful, and I would definitely not recommend shopping here.
