Booked an appointment online because I had a party of 8. When we showed up they didn't have any record of the reservation- even though I had a confirmation. They where able to seat us (thankfully). Our server was really busy. Took a bit to get our drinks and they came wrong. Food was delicious but two orders where "upgraded" without asking. We could tell they where really busy so we where pretty understanding but a little disappointed.

We were there 2.5 hours and when our order was taken, there was 1 other table seated. 1.5 hours between ordering and getting meals. Pizzas and tacos. 2 year old wasn't happy. Food and beer was really good however, would likely order takeout again.

Vistited 4 times this week. Nice beer selection. Good food selection. A must have is the pizza! Staff is half and half; some are nice, others are not so nice. I do recommend this place.

Fantastic service, wonderful patio looking onto Richmond and the park. Food was great and brought out in perfect timing. Waiter didn't even ask me how everything was when I had a mouthful of food, it was in between bites!

Great place to eat, food was delicious. The other people I was with enjoyed the in-house beer. Staff was extremely friendly and nice.

Food and beers were very good - sample trays are a great way to try them. Service was good too. Only problem was that 2 of our sample glasses were cracked - more than a couple cm long. Not seeing the cracks is an honest mistake. We told her and she took them away. No offer to replace a glass; no simple thing like comp a dessert or offer a souvenir glass or anything. Never mentioned.

Honestly, amazing looking restaurant with great selection of beer. But the food. My god it is terrible. 8 of us got 8 different things and nobody enjoyed anything. Pizza dry and stale-like. Sandwiches were dry and terrible. If they got their act together in the kitchen they would be a go to spot

We went to London to visit our son (Western student) on Monday and he wanted to take us to this bar called Toboggan and we looked at each other and thought, okay this is not going to be fun. But we went and were pleasantly surprised. The bar ambiance is very nice and clean, great TV's with plays of the month which we really enjoy. Amazing bar and if you like beer, you will enjoy their beer tasting menu. I am not a fan of high tables because they are uncomfortable, but that was where we were sat since the regular tables were occupied.

You can tell a real foodie put together this menu. On Monday at lunch they have half price pizzas which is what we had and they were all really delicious. The Buffalo pizza had just a bit too much hot sauce on it, but the cajun chicken, carne and prosciutto were all perfect. They have a wood pizza oven, which generally has superior pizza. I didn't like that we saw the chefs outside smoking when we went there and then they were stretching out the dough with the back of their hands and arms. Not hygienic. The strawberry cheesecake was amazing and the carrot cake was good but a little too sweet and had raisins, which we didn't enjoy.

Service was a slow. It took a long time for the food to come out and considering that the kitchen was fully staffed with 4 chefs making our pizza, and the restaurant almost empty we couldn't understand what took so long.

We will definitely go back when we are in London.

My husband, my sister and i went to Toboggan on a Saturday just recently. Sat at the bar and waited 15 minutes for the waitress or bartender to get to us. It wasn't that busy. The issue was they have 1 person working the floor and the bar at the same time. When we finally got our drinks it took another 20 minutes before we ordered our food and had to ask for a server. If this place is to cheap to have enough proper staff on to serve it's patrons then they don't care. This happened once before and Hanna said their short staffed. Same thing again. Anyways we just paid for our drinks and left without ordering any food. The food is not that great anyways for the price you pay. ADVISE- Keep a bartender at the bar and servers on the floor instead of being cheap and taking shortcuts to save a few $. People don't like to wait forever to be served with an attitude. Wont be going back.

Service was excellent. Our server was attentive and great with the kids at the table. The food was excellent.

Delicious food and beer! Great atmosphere! We had a large group lunch at Toboggan and they handled it extremely well. The wait staff were prompt and accommodating and our meals and drinks were delivered quickly. Really appreciated Toboggan having our group. Would highly recommend!

Food was served hot and quick. My daughter (5) loved watching the guys toss the pizza dough in the air

I cannot say enough about how accommodating and pleasant the staff at Toboggan Brewing Company were. Having hosted many many events at various locations over the years, I can honestly say this was one of the most seamless experiences I have had. Matt Morton was fantastic to work with as were all of the staff, the food was great, they worked with my budget and they provided itemized quotes and receipts. I would highly recommend this venue for any corporate or private party.

Very loud atmosphere to enjoy dinner in. Also mentioned upon reserving that it was my husbands birthday- no acknowledgment given.

My boyfriend and I went to Toboggan all the time while living in London, and when we go back to London we always make sure we visit Toboggan. The food is always great, the service is always super friendly, wine and beer list are great. We have never had any complaints:)

Have tried every brewery in London and this is certainly one of the better ones. The beer is well priced and quite good. They brew a variety of styles of beer, so there's a good diversity of beer. While some ontario breweries offer really creative and unique beers, you won't find that kind of thing here. Instead, they do a great job of brewing true to style.

As others have mentioned, the food is pretty pricy and nothing outstanding, but I think the tradeoff is that the beer is well priced. However, I must say I have really enjoyed the pretzel sticks every time I've tried them. Lastly, the service here is excellent. Staff are always super friendly and welcoming.

Pleasant servers. Beer ok. Had chicken wings with mango habanero sauce which were bad. Limp wings and flavorless sauce. No veggies!

We stopped by for some drinks. Good selection of beers and other drink options. Had the warm pretzels which were wonderful. Our server was super personable and very attentive.

Great place to check out, doesn't matter if you are just looking for a good beer selection, great food, or excellent staff, they will have you covered.

Made a reservation for my birthday the day before for 7PM. Our food, which was 2 pizzas, was not brought to the table until 9: 45 PM. Nearly 3 hours later. I asked at 9: 15 if they were close to being done. The server said it will likely be at least another half hour. This is pretty unacceptable, especially for a party who has reserved a table in advance. We had to get home to our children, so asked for the food to go. We weren't even given pizza boxes, had to stuff the slices into small fry containers. Yikes. Won't be bringing my out of town friends here anymore.

Last night I came in for a reservation with my 6 friends and our server was amazing which was the only reason we tipped well. Sadly though we waited over 2 hours for food that was completely lacklustre. I had the mac and cheese and I am vegetarian and it came with bacon. My friend had the chicken tacos and they had a hair in them. The brie and margarita pizza we did order for the table were actually quite stellar but 2/6 meals being satisfying is not acceptable. I will also mention that the beer flight was awesome and my server provided me with excellent recommendations. Only go to toboggan for the drinks, not the food.

The server, Pam, was attentive and thoughtful as she guided us through the ins and outs of the gluten-free menu. This level of service and attention to detail only added to the unique micro-brewery beers. Also, the tacos are fantastic!

Here’s a summary:
Brie - sub-par, probably microwaved, no bread
Caesar’s - ingredients are water and Worcestershire sauce
Vanilla stout beer - great coffee taste, 10/10 would have again

Ps. I do want the owner to know that you have to open your growler service back up. It really doesn't make sense to cut yourself financially from this business.

Overall a fabulous experience from when we entered, our fabulous waitress Hannah, delicious food and a little fun in the gift shop! Highly recommend and we will be back!

From stepping in and getting seated felt appreciated as a customer. Then our server Pam greeted us with a feeling of genuineness. Bringing a couple samples of beer for us to try so we we happy with our choices all the way to suggestions of food and finally not smothering us with service I can’t say enough about Pam & Toboggan Brewery! Thank you for everything.

Food was not up to par the double cheese burger taco I couldn't even swallow the first bite that apps lettuce wraps and pot stickers nit to bad but everything else not even worth the trip I did however enjoy the red wine sangrita was delicious but won't go back

Of course the beer was great but the food and service were also excellent. I’ll definitely visit again.

I'll preface thus by saying I'm a server myself, and things have to be pretty terrible to really create a bad experience for me.
We arrived at 130pm on a Wednesday and sat upstairs. There was no wait, as there was only about 5 other tables and 2 servers.
Our (2) flights took 20 min to get to us, and our server never once popped by to see if we wanted anything else, even after we had completely empty glasses. We would have flagged her down, but we couldn't see her.
Most of our food came quickly. The brisket fondue was absolutely delicious however the lettuce wraps were quite standard. But about 10 min after receiving these dishes I asked about the fries I ordered. She said 'oh, I forgot those. I'll go ring them in now'. No apology or anything.
When the fries finally came the 'fresh cut fries' definitely looked frozen and they were disgustingly soggy. Fries are hard to screw up, but somehow they did. The only worthwhile dip was the gar par. The chipotle ketchup tastes like basic ketchup. Save yourself the few bucks and get a side with a single dip if you feel pulled to get fries.
Our server didn't clear a single thing from our table while we were there, despite the plates being empty for some time before our bill came.
When our bill did come (after we waved her down and asked for it) I figured the fries may have been comped or reduced since she forgot (as that's what I would do) but they weren't.
The only saving grace here was that the beers were quite good, and the glasses provided a decent means to reduce wasp harassment. (odd side note, the flight glasses are logo'd as being from Anderson Ales, not Toboggan? Not sure what that's about)

Went today with a group of four (two couples) and had to wait about 20 minutes for a patio table. The staff were awesome and sat us at a table inside while we waited. Our server, Jordan I believe his name was, was super friendly and got drinks out to us quickly! He had great banter, made sure we were enjoying our beverages, and had such a positive vibe that you couldn't help but be happy around. He treated us so well even though he knew we would be moving up to the patio which I know can be super annoying!

We moved upstairs and had another great server, Jess. She was a lot of fun and had great humor! The food was delicious and I appreciated that there was a good selection of appetizers! My go to! I had the coconut shrimp taco, brisket taco and Thai lettuce wraps.

I love the atmosphere on the patio, thoughg the seats were super comfy and liked being able to look over the edge from the second floor.

The food was awesome but the atmosphere and servers are what made a good night into a great one!

Terrible experience. I always try somewhere twice before giving a review because things happen and sometimes experiences are a one off but unfortunately that isn’t the case for this place. No air conditioning and it was over 40 degrees inside on one of the most humid days of the year. Waited an hour and 20 minutes for our food with absolutely 0 communication about the wait time. We didn’t mind if it was busy, they were short staffed or if there was a wait for any other reason but the fact that the server knew when we ordered, didn’t say anything and then never came to check on us or communicate in that entire time, was unacceptable. We finally got our food - the starter came with our entrees and changes to our orders (no salsa, fries instead of salad etc) weren’t done. Everyone who had the chicken ended up feeling ill and getting sick as well. Again, we all get things happen and sometimes there’s a wait but customer service and communication should still be #1 and the fact that there was 0 communication despite knowing there was such a significant wait time and our orders weren’t even right when we got them on top of it being the hottest I’ve ever seen inside of a seated area in a restaurant, made this an awful experience. Terrible experience, terrible food, terrible service. Definitely needs an overhaul.

We came here last night after walking by and seeing the cute design! We did have to wait a little while before being served, but the bartender / server Quinn who saw us was very apologetic and attentive, he did a great job and he’s cute & a good conversationalist. The food was good, i got the kale Caesar and mac n cheese.we also got the black fly cider grapefruit which was nice! I would come back:)

My wife and I came here for a date night. I really enjoyed Toboggan. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice.

Fun place to eat, the staff was very accommodating and friendly, found us a place outside on the patio. Beer was good and so was the food, didn't really like the wings but everything else was delicious, especially the frites. I think I would try their pizza next time. Overall, I'd go again.

Would be 1 star but the server was amazing! The food here is terrible. Bland, no flavors. Worst taco and pizza I have ever had in my life. Only beer that was decent was their climate one. Avoid!

We had an amazing night at Toboggan Brewing Company. The entire staff from the hostess to the servers were friendly and fun. Our server Jules was exceptionally great. Very prompt, helpful and kind. We highly recommend Tobaggan as a destination for great food, great music and great service in a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Thank you all for a wonderful evening.

I had a wonderful experience here but a little costly place. Suggestion, before you buy beer, take a sample because it is gonna cost you if you don’t end up liking it. I had ordered Carne pizza which is all non-veg pizza as you can see in the picture.

First time (always wanted to go and never did). Amazing! Menu was great with so many options for my foodie self! Had the pretzels for an app, fish, pork and shrimp taco. They were delicious. Great portion size! My friend had their pizza (also so many great choices). It was perfect! Will definitely be going back! Hannah our server was attentive and friendly!
