Take out party platter. Pricing was excellent which i think was indicative of the quality of the sushi rolls for that day. Sushi rice was a little mushy for my liking.

More than what I expected from Brampton for AYCE

Pros:
- have most of what you expect such as seared, salmon belly, skewers, sashimi, dessert
- Service extremely fast, may be the fastest I've ever experienced at an AYCE sushi place
- very good attitude, atmosphere is decent
- price is fair
- brown rice Maki selection
- soda drinks included unlike most buffet place. It's a smart move, you are full much faster with cheap sodas.

To improve:
- Unreasonably too much rice on sushi, ratio to fish very imbalanced. Aka.cheaping out
- limited seared sushi selection (only salmon)
- Soup Udon picture used ramen, misleading

Really, if just the rice was as low as the reputable ones (like Wind typically half the rice but fish 2-3x the thickness), this place would be a big gem. If this part ever improves, management please let me know, I'd definitely come back!

I love this place! We come by all the time! Super affordable and all you can eat. Sushi is always amazing and the miso soup is superb. Overall 10/10.

Great place for seafood and Asian food. Everything was fresh and delicious! Service was not that bad but can improve.

This place was very clean, and had a calming atmosphere. Went for lunch there with co workers and the food was really good, everything we ordered had good flavor. I also thought the pricing was good, compared to other spots I've been to. I recommend it, I will be going back with hubby.

I go to sushi 1-2 times a week. I order the same things every time. I decided to come to this resturant and had the worst food and barley any service.the food is either dry or over cooked. I told them the shrimp tastes like its gone bad. They have a machine preparing the sushi sloppy. A grocery store has better sushi and its sat there for hours. When talking to someone about my food concerns I was told it was my taste buds and that I don't need to eat there if I don't like the way they prepare the same food I eat else where. I only enjoyed fried mushrooms going there. A waste of $80. I'll never go back and ill warn everyone from going there

Surprising selection for lunch, and they were all very good. Some sushi pieces did come slower than the rolls, which was a little unexpected, but otherwise, the quality made up for it.

Edit:
Went again for dinner and not much more to choose from compared to the lunch menu and despite the restaurant being empty, sushi came extraordinarily slow and other big groups that ordered after got rolls a lot faster, very disappointed in the service when there are few customers.

Food is great don't get me wrong the service and atmosphere just takes a hit because there's a lot of people and there used to running around. But a little kindness goes a long way little too fast with customers, but I understand with a busy place. Don't go if your trying to have a deep conversation/date it shud be more of a sushi run with some colleagues or people ur not best m8ts with

One of my favorite sushi places! All you can eat, fresh food and great quality. Nice indoor seating. Been coming here for years and will continue.

Place was literally covered in plastic wrap to create COVID barriers. Felt dirty and cheap. Sushi was ok. Nothing to write home about but it was decent. I found the price to be pretty steep for marginal food. Would not recommend.

I don't know what happened to this place, but my last experience was terrible. The food was tasteless and the manage was incredible rude. I do not recommend for sure.

This used to be our favourite place for AYCE, however, the owner became quite rude to us the last time we tried to go. Wanted to book a table for 10 and apparently he didn't want our business.very disappointed.

Bring cash for a discount! Love this place. It's not over the top, but you still get lots dishes. I recommend lunchtime for the best price.

Terrible service! I didn't eat anything I felt like because they don't deliver what you asked for. This place will never see my money again. They are rude when it comes to the table explaining why their food didn't come

Went for all you can eat dinner with a large group. The sushi was okay. The Philadelphia roll especially was not good. Some of the appetizers were quite tasty like the cheese wontons and the BBQ short ribs. Oddly enough, the servers did not care what we actually ordered and ended up giving us 2/3 times our actual order which resulted in us overeating and not being able to finish. When we asked to see our previous orders they insisted we ordered everything but upon actually viewing our tablet we found out they doubled up on a bunch of stuff that wasn't supposed to be there! They did not charge us for uneaten food since they understood they made a mistake so all in all it was an okay experience.

This was the most nastiest sushi I've ever had in my life. Tasteless, room temperature, disgusting sushi.

I couldn't even finish any of the rolls, which never happens. I don't like wasting food.

My boyfriend and I came here before he's going away. And it was definitely a regret.

The only decent thing was the mango cake, which was probably outsourced.

Update: YUK! Check this place out in the news and FB. Food portions are small, service is horrible. We used to come three to four times a week-Raymond is a good guy but the turnover of servers has ruined a good place. Lots of negative attitude from servers and management just fumbles for excuses. Food is never the same twice, portions are hit and miss and sometimes perished food is served. Sometime you don't even get your order for over an hour wait. Didn't have an issue with kids pricing because have no kids but this has been an issue as well that I have witnessed. Sorry not going back. Go down the street to Sushi House rolls are much larger and food is fresh.

My family came here to dine recently and we unfortunately had a less-than pleasant experience due to the attitude we received from the servers. We were waiting patiently for one of our orders to come and were told that due to understaffing, there may be a 15-20 minute delay. We were already nearing the 1 hour mark and decided to follow-up with our order. I had noticed that the couple beside us received a platter of sashimi that looked strikingly similar to the quantities and varieties we ordered and by the looks on their faces, it was obvious they did not order it. The server who was confirming our order when we decided to put in a second order (when it was apparent that we were never going to receive it) was very rude and instead of being apologetic, she gave us a bad attitude.

The food was ok but finding ok food is a dime a dozen in this day and age. If you want to survive in the restaurant industry, you need impeccable customer service.

We will not be coming back.

I remember this place before covid and I feel like it's changed.
We showed up at 3: 30pm, they said cut off for lunch was 4, that's fine. We paid the dinner price and we sat for two hours talking and playing pokemon and constantly ordering food and being polite about any noise. There was only two of us.
It seemed like the longer we stayed, the worse the service got so we would leave. Food was forgotten and not brought out, it would take longer and longer for food to come out to the point we had to ask.never had to do that with a Sushi place like this.
The beef was dry, the music was just unpleasant, the manager seemed rude or overworked that day.
We spent $70 for our meals plus a $15 dollar tip just because we know that sometimes places have off days.

I found that the only excellent service was how fast they kept filling my boyfriends water to keep him too full to order food. Other than that, I hope it was just an off day and not a tactic to get people out of the building so they can make more money.

Well it sure has changed over the years of covid. I went last night it was last call @ 9: 20 the waitress waited beside the table to take the iPad away and get they close at 10 so I felt like I'm rushed to eat.which is not comfortable at all. The food was cold all the chicken skewers. The chicken teriyaki is dry and is white boring tasteless I think it looked more like boiled chicken cut up in pieces with a dash of black pepper. I only enjoyed the beef ribs. Oh gosh I think next time I will stick to August 8 or something because the service is Terrible and food was weird.

I’ve been going to this sushi restaurant for years. It’s my go to spot when I want to get together with friends and family. Their sushi is very yummy and will leave you craving more. The customer service is good and I definitely recommend this place. Give it a try:)

Not the best they for some reason put the wrong table on our tablet so our food didn’t come to us then when they fixed it there was still problems and we kept getting the wrong orders.the eel roll has like 90% avacodo and 10% eel which kinda sucked since if you didn’t finish you would need to pay extra on unfinished dishes.spider roll the crab is hard as a rock.this place is cheaper than most all you can eat sushi places, but after this experience i won’t be coming back much.

I got here at least 2times a week. The food is great and the service is really much much better Than before. The service I had tonight by a girl wearing a glass, I heard her co worker called her Feebe or Phoebe. She was very polite and friendly always had a smile and soft voice. Even tho she was busy answering a call and served 5tables, but she still made time to see if we need anything. Amazing service! Highly recommend!

It was not horribly bad but also not great. I ordered Lo Mein which was suppose to have "assorted" stir fry vegetables. It only had few pieced of broccoli and some zucchini. It also stated it is cooked in a special sauce. I thought noodles had no sauce and were actually bland. The garlic beef was so expensive 7.99 for a small container which was over priced.

Food was good, however the service and customer care wasn't the best. Staff were not welcoming and friendly. I had to ask to bring wasabi, ginger and other things several times.

My family and i lived in brampton a few years ago and used to eat here often. Love there food and the manager recognises us when we walk in. Live out of town now but have driven 2 houra just for there food.

The food and the service at Tokyo Maki Sushi is top notch. The food is ordered on tablets and brought to the table fresh as it's ready. Have eaten here many times and will absolutely visit here again

***Update April 2021***

It has been a while since my last visit. Especially since the pandemic has affected dining in as an option. This is a local business, so I do like to support them within the community.

I decided to try their take out offerings. I tried the Tray A option.
There is a 10% discount if you pay cash which is generous and I took that route. The prices are quite reasonable and the selection can satisfy most.

The potions are generous and the flavour is good, not great; but certainly good. I do miss the AYCE, but until that day finally returns; the takeout option is not bad at all.

I have visited here several times. And I give the selection and the food is quite good. I have always had good and attentive service during my visits.

The hot dishes are extremely good and they have a special selection of sushi made with brown rice which is a unique touch. A+ experience.

Ordered from Tokyo Maki sushi on ubereats last night (12/31/2020) around 5pm, the order was to be done and delivered by 6: 35. The order was continuously delayed, and ultimately canceled by the restaurant a little after 7,2 hours after the order was placed. The restaurant did not contact us to say why it was cancelled. (The order was also over $100)

When we called them the person who answered seemed confused, and was not helpful. His response after several minutes was "the kitchen is too busy and cannot complete the order. " Extremely unprofessional, and disappointing. I will no longer support this business.

It's wasn't awful but it wasn't awsome.
Wasn't crazy about anything on the menu that had the word spice in it

Anyway today afternoon I had to use the washroom and there was a waiter to who I was trying to have conversation and he started talking to me in a very rude manner wish you guys would have trained him well
No customer service at all
He was approx 5'7" and having a short hair cut, couldn't read his name but hopefully management would take action against him

Food is always fresh, I have never been unsatisfied with the quality of the food. Service can be better but I’m trying to be sympathetic seeing as it’s always soooo extremely busy. All in all I love this place

I come here since 2012 for at least twice/month.and I know this is the pandemic time so it's hard for the restaurants have tons of people inside.today i came with my family, we wrote the name down and we've waited with the kids for 15mins.then they let other people took the table first without any writing reservation.big disappointment because i've been their loyal customer for 8 years.

Horrible service! Came tonight after a while and I was reminded why I stopped coming here. Every order took 20 minutes to come even though the place was not busy. Ordered salmon sashmi took 45 minutes to come. Ordered mussels and after an hour of not seeing it come we just decided to ask them not to bring it.
Waited another 30 minutes for the bill to come.

Do not come here for sushi!

Absolutely a spot worth stopping by, the food is good and well prepared, the costs are reasonable and it is regularly well organized in here. Kudos.
