Tom Chater Memorial Park

Typical municipal park with walking paths, baseball diamonds for organized sports, sitting benche and a good combination of grass fields and wooded forests.

Love this park. My only gripe is that there are THREE baseball diamonds here. THREE.is baseball really that popular? They are literally always empty too unless there is a scheduled event, no one uses them for pick up games or anything of the sort, and I feel like its such a waste of space. How about a basketball or tennis court? Add some diversity to the facilities in this park please.

The field was horrible. Too high. They must cut the grass. No way you can play soccer this way.

Beautiful place! Quiet and in nature. Great place to walk or bike ride.

Very peaceful. I love it. A tiny puddle with ducks. A few teepees. Perfect place to calm down.

Tom Chater has walkways and green spaces but my favourite is the wooded area. There is water in low lying areas and lots of wildflowers, including trilliums, and a variety of trees. The central area is comprised of well maintained baseball diamonds and a soccer field. All in all, a very pleasant park area.
