Tomasso's Italian Grille

We have been coming here for years. We have our annual News years eve dinner there with around 14 people. This year our food was not up to the quality that we’ve always had in the past. Chicken was dry, spaghetti noodles were hard, my daughter’s chicken burnt on one side and under cooked on the other. I reached out but didn’t get a reply. Dropping over $500 for a meal one would expect quality.

The food and staff were amazing. I have never had such fresh and authentic food definitely will be back

This place is busy and once you try their food that will make sense. Very professional staff, polite and courteous. Food was top notch and priced well. Service was quick, call ahead so you have a chance to dine here.

Great location and service. Nice ambience too. The food was great too with a good choice of wines and main dishes

Last minute road trip and we ended up at Tomasso’s for lunch and it was amazing! Katie, our server, was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back!

One of the best Lasagnas I've had in a long while, and it was piping hot! The complimentary warm bread with house garlic butter is also a nice touch.

The staff is welcoming. Clean restaurant, clean bathroom. Good food. Reasonably priced.

The view of the waterfront was relaxing.

Upon hearing how wonderful the food was, I decided it was time to try it.

Entering you're met with a great atmosphere and a friendly smile. We were promptly seated, and drinks were given quickly.

The menu ranged from an assortment of appetizers, pastas, seafood, steaks, pizza, and other popular dishes. They also had a kids menu for the little one.

While everyone at our table enjoyed their food, I received the chicken parm, which was delicious but a tad too much cheese, which is obviously just my own personal preference as others may love the amount of cheese etc

Overall, I had a great time and recommend it to anyone looking for some authentic Italian cuisine.

Tomasso's is right on the Trent Severn waterway. Their patio looks out over the busy waterway.

They have a good selection of drinks and the food is hearty Italian.

It is a short walk from the marina.

GF pizza was good, but could have used a bit longer in the oven for my liking.
Waitress was very attentive, however a rainy damp day and air conditioning was blowing on us. A bit chilly

Really enjoyed our special occasion dinner! So happy to see such a thriving business. I personally witnessed the fire in 1979. Iconic business and will be back again soon!

Did not make a reservation, Showed up around 6: 30 and the only space available was on the patio which was beautiful. Absolutely blown away by how delicious the food was. I was always looking forward to my next bite.

Visited this beautiful town and had the best pizza at Tomasso’s. Our server was really sweet and as we are vegetarian, she made sure that everything was vegetarian and even recommended us foods to try. Amazing vibe and incredible food! Highly recommend this place!

Lovely delicious meal with family for hubby's birthday.
Excellent service.our server was attentive, professional, & very leasing.
Only drawback was the noisy atmosphere, due to the full house and acoustics of the room.

For food, Tomasso's website states that they "prepare everything on the premises from start to finish" and use "authentic recipes". However, you should not expect any fresh/homemade pasta or appetizers (Sysco cheese sticks were the appetizer of the day) nor should you expect an authentic pizza crust/pizza sauce/pasta sauce when coming here.

Wonderful place for a meal. The view of the river is fabulous and gives you a feeling of being on vacation. The spinach app with cheesy pita bread was super tasty. Everyone enjoyed their meal although I found the pizza just "okay". Dessert was fantastic, chocolate chunk.loved it! Would we go back? Most definitely, but I would definitely get one of the pasta or entree meals. My sister raved about the chicken marsala.that is next!

I'm visiting from Alberta and was brought up in the pizza business in Saskatchewan and this is a delicious, satisfying pizza pie. If you're ever driving by Trenton, this is a must have.
