It is generally a good business practice to welcome return customers, not question them as to why they are there, oh, and it also might be a good practice to take a 2.99 sticker off before reselling a record for 25.

I walked in with my fathers old turntable from the 70’s, looking to get it up and running again, and Julian explained everything that needed to be done in great detail. Him and his team were able to tune it up and fix it within hours of me dropping it off at the store. They are all super knowledgeable, personable and communicative. You can tell by talking to them that they truly have a passion for their work and I will definitely be coming back. If you need audio repairs, your gear is in good hands with them!

This is a really fantastic record shop nestled into a house on dundas. Great selection of records and vintage hifi. Staff know their stuff and are happy to dig out something on request. Good vibes all around.

My favorite record store! The staff are very nice, friendly and superbly knowledgeable in repairs. Cleaned up my TEAC amp and it's been running great since. If they don't have what you're looking for, they'll try to get it in for you.

Traveled quite a distance for a record these guys said they had in stock. After searching it was not there. Please update your inventory. Maybe if the records were half organized it would have been possible to find. The staff member was more concerned about his laptop then helping customers willing to over pay for records.

Toronto gem. They are passionate about their music and gear, and constantly update their collection. Often come out of the store with a new favorite artist, or a hard to find goodie. Highly recommend.

A wonderful shop with a terrific selection of records, casettes and audio gear. When asked, the staff brought up hundreds of extra cassettes to browse! I'd recommend folks check out this place when in Toronto.

Nice shop with a cozy old school feel. Interesting inventory of new and used vinyl, lots of audio accessories and a lovely collection of vintage audio components for sale. They also do repairs.

This place ROCKS! The team at Tonality refurbished an old 40 year old record player I brought in. Even cleaned it up for me!

After I brought it home, I was having some issues with the set up as it was being plugged into a new system. They even allowed me to bring the system in and tested every piece of equipment for me to make sure my set up was good. This is some grade A customer service if I’ve ever seen any!

Will absolutely be returning + sending my friends here!

We took our turntable in to have it looked at for a playback issue. Julien was actually AMAZING! Fixed the problem promptly and helped us again during a second visit with our receiver. Julien was so knowledgeable about the technology and the music they had in store, such a great seamless experience.

I have been a casual shopper at Tonality for years; they have a good eclectic selection of new and used vinyl.

A few pieces of my equipment were damaged in a feline acrobatic accident and I had to jump over to the repair side of the operation. Julian was able to repair what he could and find an expert to finish the job on an incredibly hard-to-fix modern speaker. Both pieces are now like new.

Tino also told me I had a very cool name. Do not hesitate to take your business here.

Good little shop with a variety of classics & new material, and they've got quite a decent stock of audio equipment too.

Took care of my technic 1200 and even found a way to save me a few dollars as I needed it in a rush for a gig. Julian is the nicest dude, solid record shop as well. Don't go anywhere else for your vintage sound needs. A customer for life.

Got my turntable fixed here. The staff were amazing. Really knowledgable and genuinely want to help. They don't oversell you and give you true and honest advice. Repairs were done in a few days! Definitely going to keep going back here!

I dropped by to pick up some record mailers and the staff were really friendly! Tino went out of the way to find me a bag big enough to fit the mailers as well — superb customer service!

Tonality is THE spot. I’ve been all over this city, in and out of all the shops, and trust me when I say, Tonality is what you are looking for. They are friendly, courtesy, knowledgeable and approachable. In many ways, the antithesis of the stereotypical record shop vibe.

No judging, just helpful and involved. They aren’t the largest shop but they have big positive vibes. The selection of new and used records isn’t the biggest but it’s one of the best. Especially if you want something harder to find.

And don’t forget to look in the back, you may just find that piece of vintage hifi kit you’ve been looking for.

Tonality is the most wonderful little shop that goes above and beyond being a record store! They are a community staple. I’ve had the BEST customer service I think I’ve ever had here. The gentleman spent time on the phone with me helping me decide on a receiver, went out of his way to find the best bang for my buck (in his basement!), then after I purchased it he called and checked in with me a week later to make sure the sound was okay. I love this place!

I visited the store several times and spoke to Tino and Julian regarding my turntable. Both provided excellent customer service and are very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Recommend this store to everyone. You will not regret it.

My experience with Tonality Records was great from start to finish. Both Julian and Tino were very knowledgeable and super helpful. I purchased a selection of used records as well as a vintage record player, speakers and amplifier over a 2-day span. Excellent service in a casual and welcoming environment.

My interaction with the staff has been pleasant so far. I brought in a mid 1960's record player that stopped working years ago. I left it with Julian who called me back and let me know exactly what I was looking at in terms of repairs. They seem to really care about their business and it's nice to see a small store with knowledgeable staff.

Holy molly does this place have the best customer service! Mackenzie is such a legend! I brought in an old player and amp and he took the time to test all of it to make sure it was working - AFTER THE STORE HAD CLOSED. Could not recommend this place enough!

Customer service is amazing. The gentleman working helped me out so incredibly much. He understood my budget, found everything that I was looking for. He went above and beyond to ensure I was extremely happy with my purchase. Out of all the places I have been, Tonality has extremely fair prices.
