Do not trust the reviews:
1. Terrible quality meat. They give only the worst and over cooked hard meat to uber orders (Cha siu & Roasted Pork)
2. Rice was overcooked and mushy, could not eat it.
3. Roasted pork was way too salty to eat.
4. Do not order from this place especially online ordering.

Used to be one of the better and favor BBQ places in Scarborough, as their BBQ Duck is most popular.

Unfortunately, as of today, we lined up for two lunch boxes, it took at least 35 minutes. Always and there're always, in this 棠下燒臘place, having few of their loyalty customers jumped in. Of course, they're no need to line up, even though there has already been a lineup with more than 15 people. Sad to say, not worth waiting.

If you came here just for a bite for a BBQ duck and Chrispy roasted pork, you will definitely be disappointed. A BBQ duck is tasty, but just average good. Other chrispy roasted pork, which is absolutely dry.

I payed $11 for 1lb of bbq pork, and all I got is filler pieces and far. If you are not Chinese or don’t speak good Chinese. Don’t come here they will rip you off.

First of all, I ordered the roasted duck and bbq pork rice, for the bbq pork they only gave me 4 pieces in total. After I ordered, they said they have prep for another order but someone gave up and asked me if I want it, I refused. Then they started giving me that attitude, at the same time take away most of the bbq pork that was first prep for my order and left only 4 pieces. I asked the lady why is there only 4 pieces which is way lesser portion than usual. She replied saying that's how it is.

I order the same item as a regular customer every few days, they have NEVER given that little of portion to me ever compare to this. This is not how you should do business!

I will never recommend this place to anyone anymore, and neither I will come back ANYMORE.

This totally ruined my day!

The cashier at the front desk saw that I was working hard and added some extra meat to the roasted pork rice I ordered. I'll give it five stars for this reason.

The roast duck is delicious here, and the meat portions are generous for the price (which has gone up a little bit recently). We usually get the 2 item combo with rice noodle soup, and the broth absorbs the juices of the meat making it taste that much better. The additional cup of broth is a nice palette cleanser for the end of the meal.

One star is too many! Asked for a piece of fat chai siu, and got burnt edges and no fat at all! Don't buy from there.

So I come here for the Roast Duck, one of the best 2 meat item rice combo around this area. Generous amount of meat for the price. Most other places don't give you this level of meat even with higher price. Also, I'm not sure why another reviewer complained they didn't get green onion and ginger condiment with their soy chicken order. I always ask for that and on my non chicken rice combos and never do I not get it. As for the roast pork and BBQ pork I agree it's not the best but the amount of duck i get is atleast more than fair for the price. Other places really barely give you any duck for their roast duck dual meat combos. You may argue they don't give you enough rice. But I prefer to get more meat than more carbs any day of the week.

2 item dish with soy sauce chicken does not come with Onion & Ginger condiment. When asked also not willing to give. What is BBQ meal without O&G sauce and soup? Better to eat Sweet & Sour pork!

The food court is decent, but this place is not.

1. Ordered half a duck and there were no breast pieces.
2. The sauce they pour is half oil.

The duck is nothing special, lots of better places around here such as food court at Mcnicoll and Midland or Denison center.

My favourite chinese bbq meat takeout spot. You won't find a better price for the amount of food anywhere. Food always slaps and they have the best soup side I've had from these food court spots. Authentic, filling and in my opinion, better than the FMP and Pmall surrounding areas. Good location, but I wouldn't eat in the food court. And of course, bring cash!

The attitude of the cashier girl is terrible. Shout out to guests. It's amazing, are guests begging to eat your roast meat?

Great food prepared to your satisfaction. The food made it to my stomach faster than me taking pictures. The aroma, the large amount of food, the deliciousness of it all was very enticing. You will definitely get your money’s worth at this place. The one item rice combo was so packed in the container, it was good for 2 meals. All the staff was warm and funny! The price was right and food was delicious. When you make special requests, you get your food prep to your order and to your liking. During weekends, holidays and especially Chinese New Year, expect long long line ups possibly 1/2 hr waiting. But it is well worth the wait! Great food, LOVED the price and great service!

Really awful service and not a great product either. Came here to order bbq pork because I didn’t want to travel to my go to Chinese BBQ place in FMP. I asked for a half fat, half lean (半肥瘦）piece and the man who was cutting the meat yelled at me and said they didn’t have any. I picked another piece and he continued to mutter under his breath. When I went to pay, the cashier also continued to lecture me about asking for something they don’t sell? I am not sure what I did to deserve to be yelled at…

The one piece of BBQ pork ended up being $13 and it was honestly so dry. Would not recommend this BBQ when there are so many better places around.
