Tony V's Pizza & Restaurant

A nice place to dine. I was greeted with warmth and an impeccable hospitality and an inviting ambiance that set the tone for a memorable evening.
The quality and presentation of the food were good.
I would highly recommend this place in search of good food and a memorable dining experince.

Friendly atmosphere and generous portions. I had the chicken bruschetta pizza and hubby had spaghetti and meat sauce. We shared the lemon meringue pie. The service was beyond 5 star as our server was smiling and engaging. Will definitely be coming back!

Unfortunately we wanted to return this year (I treat my mom to a visit to Sudbury and visit family,) and this place is a must go usually, unfortunately this time they could not offer Tables for service. TONY V's Can you please add more tables to your restaurant so we can return again next year? Or be a little more accommodating for people who cannot use booths. Missed you this year.

Tried the Buffalo Chicken wrap with side of Greek salad, it was sooooo good, hubby had steak sandwiches, which was excellent

Traditional Italian and Greek food with fair prices. Food has that homemade, comforting feel. No boil in bag or microwave meals here. Nice dining room and great service.

Tony V's has been around forever - Italian and Greek food focus. Family place and always packed at dinner time. Good value! The new patio is becoming a big attraction. Some entertainment now being offered on the patio. I love the pizzas and the pasta dishes. Alcohol is also reasonably priced. Servers are friendly, attentive, and take good care of you.

Very nice place, good prices and very good food. Family and I went in as a party of ten, and I had the gyro and onion rings, it was so yummy! They offer mostly pasta dishes, but also have a good selection of sandwiches. Definitely a nice spot for an affordable and tasty meal.

I ordered takeout from here, and the food was definitely not what I was expecting. I thought it would be of higher quality and portion sizes based on the high rating, and prices. Kind of dissapointed.

Decent restaurant! Had to make a pit stop in Sudbury and decided to try this top rated place. Overall, the food was nice and there are definitely a lot of choices for everyone, though my veal Parmesan sandwich looked a bit old and dry. It looks like a fairly busy place and so on a weekend, you will likely have to wait a while for a table.

Had apps & drinks during Happy Hour but didn’t get 1/2 price as it was advertised. Appetizers were terrible! Spicy Feta was inedible & deep fried gnocchi was a “dough ball”. Nesci’s have way too much $$ to serve 2nd rate food like this.

Just finished my first meal at Tony V’s and it was fantastic! I will definitely be back next time I am visiting in Sudbury.
Service was super friendly and efficient. Sister in law and I shared a jug of Strawberry Rose and it was delicious. Next up for the four of us was Calamari - perfectly cooked, Spicy Feta Dip - addictive, and Fried Dill Pickles - very, very good. No one had any complaints about their entrees, huge servings, fresh ingredients and just plain delicious.

My experience wasn't good. The food wasn't great and one of the dishes was undercooked. And even though they had plenty of space, the table that was offered wasn't a good one (no shadow and next to the noisy street).

Tony V's and Cortina go back to the 1960's. Pizza was the Italian food then. Now you can have that original thin crust pizza along with a full scope Italian Menu. Last week my wife and I had Veal Parmigiano and Pasta it was delicious. Large Servings, so much so that we needed takeout boxes enough for our lunch the next day. Great value and Great service by their staff.

The gnocchi was at one time amazing. Now they are regularly under cooked and inedible. Wish they were better like before. Oh well, time to move on.

Safely greeted on entry, with diligent contract tracing recording, well spaced seating areas, and suitably masked servers and staff. Service was attentive and prompt, and food arrived quickly & nicely prepared and presented.

Really great tasting pizza but just needed a bit more cheese. Think I finally found a great pizza place.

Awesome pizza, amazing wings, pasta that is homemade and simply a pleasure to enjoy. Aak for the Bruno sauce, it adds a bunch of fresh garlic in oil to your sauce. Nice touch. The meatballs are also perfect, tender and flavourful. Best Italian in town by far. I highly recommended this place.

Got chicken fingers and fries because you cant really go wrong with it. I enjoyed my meal but part of the group got a steak sandwich, which was pretty gnarly. The Calzones are pretty tasty and really big. Overall: would try again

Just ordered a veal on a bun and fries. This is the worst I have ever had. This is touted as a real Italian restaurant? The veal was on a sausage bun! There was almost no tomato sauce on it and the sauce tasted burnt. And maybe out some parmesan cheese on it.

Drove into Sudbury from Espanola specifically to try Tony Vs pizza! It was so delicious. The pizza you could tell was home made and the arancini balls were soooo good. I can't wait to go back and try the fried gnocchi! 4 stars only because we did have it about an hour after it was made but we will definitely have to try in restaurant and I will have to update! Definitely give it a try

The pizza here is so good! Also, the servers were really attentive and the atmosphere is great.

It turned out to be a very clean well run restaurant with great food and even better prices! A Sudbury gem. It closes at around 9: 30pm or 10pm so be aware of that. The pizza and calzones were superb and drink prices were the most acceptable I have found in this overpriced dining town.nice

Delicious food for a fair price. Waiters do an excellent job. Clean on the inside and nice. Usually busy by how popular they are.

We've been to Tony V's a number of times and only once was I not happy with my meal. The restaurant is a bit small and on busy days it's best to make a reservation. In the summer, Tony's hosts an outdoor patio setting in the summer which, even though it's near a main thoroughfare, is actually quite nice - not too noisy. The service is great, the food is consistently good. I wasn't really crazy about the risotto - a little heavy on the mushrooms for me. Family, friends, girls' night out, it's good for all. Bar service, with television. Clean washrooms. Angle parking is a bit tricky. One of my favourite hometown roosts.

Très bon restaurant. Nous y avons été plusieurs fois et n'avons jamais été déçu.
Les serveurs sont très agréables et réactifs. La nourriture est bonne. Il y a toujours pas mal de monde, ce qui indique que c'est une bonne place!

Group of 14 met here for lunch today - had a reservation of course! Restaurant very busy but service is prompt & excellent! The Greek salad & platters presentation very appetizing, generous portions & thoroughly enjoyed by those who ordered them. Others enjoyed their pizza, very generous toppings and the calzone was huge, as was the lasagna generously topped with their great meat sauce! Homemade soups excellent. I ordered the veal parmesan dinner served with spaghetti & house-made tomato meat sauce (great flavour!)

I’ve been going here for years. The food, staff and atmosphere are amazing! Highly recommend! Make sure to get a reservation on Fridays though.
