Top Gun Burger is the undisputed town hero – every burger is a hit, and the prices won't make your wallet do a Top Gun-style barrel roll. It's the go-to spot, and trust me, you'll want to be their wingman. Pro tip: before you embark on your burger adventure, check their Instagram for daily specials – it's like the secret weapon in the battle of flavor!
We got a star fighter and a firefly burger with onion rings. All were finger licking good! It’s was a cold day, and the meal really hit the spot. Reasonable prices too! What a great way to start 2024!
My boyfriend went there at 930 one night and it was closed, even tho online it says 10pm. I went the next night a bit earlier, and they had the door closed but there were employees still inside, so i called asking when they were open til and they said they’re “cleaning their oil so they closed 10 minutes early”. If the owner is aware that the employees are closing a half hour early, then change the times online….
Picked up the Flying Zone burger and steak sandwich (Eagle?). The burger certainly looked impressive although I didn't try it. The steak sandwich, I'd barely give 3* or 4*, my own preference for steak sandwich is one piece of steak not overcooked vs this one that's steak pieces covered in sauce and hardly visible.
Top Gun burger, you did not disappoint. After seeing some burger reviews on tiktok I knew I had to try this place. I ordered the Hellcat burger with the cheesey bacon fries and wow what a treat. The burger was top notch and the cheesey fries incredible. Will definitely be coming back and order something different on the menu.
Horrible customer service. Came in with my kids ordering their food and the girl said sry we are not selling junior fries right now you need to buy reg size. How does that make sense? To make 1 dollar more each kids? Then she said she will bring the order out. She brang to food and not the drinks. I came in to ask for the drink she like I told u takenit yourself. First she never told me that. Second she told me she is bringing the order out doesn't that mean the drinks too? She was rude and unprofessional. Lacks basic customer service skills.
Ordered two bergers but the quality was not that good compared to its price! The tables inside were dirty and no one was checking any vaccination proof! This plsce is definitely overrated
Amazing experience both in terms of quality service + quality food. Exquisite taste that leaves your tastebuds flavourful. If you are in Toronto you Must experience The Top Gun Thrill.
Easily the best burger place in town. Their Hellcat burger is my go to. The staff is very polite, friendly and helpful. They tend to cater their customers and focus on giving a 5-star hotel kinda experience at a burger place. Can't ask for anything more.
Really good burgers and plenty of options to chose. However it gets pretty busy on the weekends and it might be awhile until your other is ready. The staff are quite polite and mindful. The burgers make it really worth it tho!
The restaurant location I went is in Kensington Market. The food is great and I had the B52. And I got stuffed.haha.it takes a little time for the food to come out though, probably due to the fact that we are early. Having said that the place is a little towards the dark end. Maybe that's intentional (rustic design?), but some more lighting probably will be appreciated.
Absolute horrible customer service! Staff not trained to communicate properly.safe food-handling practices are NOT being followed. Took over an hour to serve us. They prioritized phone orders and food deliveries. SERVED US FRENCH FRIES AFTER THE BURGER WAS FINISH. I ain't never going to this place again. 0 Star.
August 8th I saw an Instagram ad with a special. Since I live nearby we walked in and asked about the special. The cashier told us that it's not at their Kensington market location, so we ordered something else for take away. When double checking the ad I noticed that it says the offer is valid at all locations so I commented on the post that the offer wasn't valid at their Kensington market. I just commented on their post to fix it so other people would know. They deleted my comment from Instagram! I would spend my hard earned money where they know how to run a business.
Spent over $50 only for the chicken strips to be so salty and uneatable, my sirloin sub had so much mayonnaise I had to scrap it off and even then It still couldn't be consumed. Oh and I can't forget that the cashier was making milkshakes on top of a freezer on the side of the restaurant. Not in the back where the food was being handled but right in the visible front of restaurant. I was so disappointed, the food, the ambience, everything was so horrible. I do not reccomend.
Got unlucky. Burger I had was extremely salty. My friend got the same one and his was not as salty as mine. Maybe this place is a dice roll and I just got a bad roll. Probably won't come back.
At location now, waited 30 minutes already and just told five minutes more. This for TWO burgers and ONE fry. No matter how this tastes, I will NOT be returning.
Great burger place. I ordered the Top Gun burger which is like a bacon cheese burg3 with a double patty. Really juicy patties. Fries were good but slightly over cooked. A little pricey but worth it. Friendly staff.
Although a little pricey, you definitely get a worthy meal to satisfy your hunger.
Beercat is the right burger for two 6oz patties, well seasoned, slightly pink very juicy. It's a messy eat but will fill you up. You can tell the beef patties are fresh 100%.
I ordered a firefly and a poutine yesterday. They were damn delicious. I loved it will visit again for sure as I want to try something more I would highly recommend.
This place was good a year ago when I last visited. But now the burgers are so dry and overcooked that they fall apart. I was patient when they got my order confused (gluten free bun) because the cook was new. Then once I took a bite, it was dry, overcooked (not even pink), too saucy and disappointing in general. Maybe I'll return after the pandemic but this isn't worth spending money for.
Came from Buffalo, NY to try out this joint based off of pictures I saw on Instagram. The wildcat burger lived up to the hype and was well worth the 3 hour drive. Very friendly staff, clean environment, great ambience. 11/10
LA place a Burgers sur Kensington. Bel accueil et les recettes valent vraiment le détour. On s'y régale sans plus penser à la malebouffe, ce qui fait un bien fou!
Came from Houston to try this place with my friends. Burgers were amazing. My friend said its the best burger he has ever had. Friendly staff, great value for the meal. Everything halal
Enjoyed 'The Eagle' steak sandwich and a large order of onion rings. Ignorant portion sizes (that's a good thing). A little heavy on the salt, but other than that, no complaints and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Would recommend and will be back if in the area.
The food was amazing. The customer service not so much, I don't know if it's because I'm from a small city, cuz it was almost non existent. I got the F35 mac burger and that's why I gave 5 stars.
I must admit that I’m not really a fan of burgers in general, the most I’ll venture into that type of food is chicken sandwich/burgers. I went here for a late lunch and ordered the Wildcat burger and a side order of fries to go. The first bite into the burger already convinced me this was different type of experience. The burger was surprisingly well balanced, not drenched in sauce or overloaded with veggies. The patty itself was mildly tasty, although I would have gone for a few more spices in the meat mix. Overall, the burger was absolutely satisfying. The side order of fries was disappointingly basic. It wasn’t as crispy as I usually liked, but it was okay. I’m definitely going to return to try another burger, maybe even tomorrow
You should try it to know how delicious a burger can be. The service is good and staff are friendly. I wanted to give it 4.5 out of 5. It is not 5 star for me only because the food is oily and the tables & chairs need to be cleaned regularly.
They have gimmicky burgers named as military aircrafts and vehicles. I think Freud would find this place a funny eatery. We got the aircraft carrier. It was very, very long with all sorts of meats covered in molten cheese. The taste itself was mediocre. It was just a lot of meat, but the meat itself was dry, not juicy, and quite plain.
Overall, I'm not sure why this place is always packed, maybe I have bad taste in burgers or I have don't envy having or eating big, long burgers.
Top Gun Burgers. I had the **Invader Burger** and it is truly The Best Burger I have Ever Had from a Restaurant or those that are Home Cooked. The Love they put into these Burgers are 5 Stars. Customer Service is 5 Stars. A burger bursting with flavour in every single bite. Freshly made. True satisfaction. Not one of the best. But the Best. TOP GUN has raised the Bar on What hamburgers and Businesses should be.
I went for lunch today and it was excellent! The attention and service were fantastic. The meat was fresh and the taste was exceptional. I’ll be back for sure!
Great quality patties and interesting options to choose. I was with a group of four and we had to wait a considerable amount of time to order. The quality of the beef was great. They really have something special going on with that freshly grounded never-frozen beef.
First time in Toronto and this burger spot was absolutely delicious! Great food and excellent service from Maria Elena! Hands down the best server! Will be coming back next time I visit.
Had the Hellcat burger with an order of fries. Staff were super friendly, ordered quickly and sat down. Burger didnt touch the flattop until I made my order. I really enjoyed the burger. Top Gun Aioli was delicious. Fries were crispy on the out and chewy on the in. One of the better burgers I've had in Toronto
The place is nice and the seating is comfy.we ordered two burgers, sweet potato fries and cheese fries.the burgers were very delicious and we enjoyed them a lot.the sweet potato fries was also very good.the only downside was the cheese fries.although it looked super delicious the cheese was almost tasteless and the fries did not taste fresh and were super oily.if i go next time I'll avoid the fries and focus on the burgers.
Me and my friend decided to come all the way to downtown Toronto just for top gun burger. It is probably one of the best burgers i’ve ever tried and this was my first time here. I had a hellcat which is delicious and i would recommend it to anyone.
Saw this place all over social media so i had to try it out for myself! Service was amazing, food came fast and the food was amazing, i ordered the “Tornado” and their chicken was amazing!
I asked for a vegan burger multiple times, the waitress didn't seem to know or care what that meant, then I was given a burger that was thrown together and falling apart with mayo all over it. I can't eat mayo, I'm vegan! The onion rings were store bought and frozen, the fries probably were too, it was all stiff as hell. Most of it wasn't even hot and it took ages for me to get any food, a veggie burger shouldn't take 15 minutes to cook in a mostly empty restaurant, especially considering how ridiculously expensive it was.
Their specials are actually worth trying. Of they sound appetizing to you, they'll definitely taste it too. Be careful when you decide to go in though, it can bre really packed
Burger was decent. But on the way down to the bathroom down the stairs they do not properly clean the grease from the kitchen off the stairs. I ended up sliding off the stairs and kept sliding untill I scraped my arm and lower leg. Got bruising and sore arm and legs. And I am a young atheltic male. It probably has happend to someone else and will happen again. This is very dangerous and I don't know how they are allowed to do this.
Great food, and an amazing experience! Only flaw was I found their burgers to be a little too salty and therefore I had a hard time finishing it. But other than that, it was amazing!
I am not really a burger person and went to Top Gun because my husband wanted to try it out. The burgers were delicious! I ordered Hell Cat.and it was very well made. Will be going there again.
