Absolutely horrible experience at both locations after being a regular customer for over 13 years.

Both Tu and Tracey have refused service to me because I started having my nails done at both locations instead of only going to one salon. I only started going to both because they would never have time to do my refills.

The way I was spoken to the last time I called was absolutely horrible. I cannot believe that after that many years of being respectful, a good tipper and a regular client they banned me from both locations because I went to both.

Today after 1 year of not going, I called to see if another technician could take me and they hung up on me.

Ha is the ONLY nail technician with any human decency and kindness at Top Nails, and they treat her like garbage.

The fact that they got jealous of each other from location to location and took it out on their customer is the most unprofessional and disrespectful experience I have ever had at any salon in my entire life.

Shame on you Top Nails, you are terrible people.

Every time I visit, the staffs are always kind and skillful, taking great care of my hands. I will definitely come back again.

Theyre super polite. Accommodating and listen to what you ask for and fhey make sure they check with you throughout the whole process if youre satisfied with the aervices

I opted for a regular nail polish, not gel, and to my dismay, it started chipping within just one day. The staff were extremely unfriendly, and the place didn't seem clean at all. Overall, comparing nail salons in Canada to those in Qatar is like night and day – a significant difference in quality and service.

Accommodated me last minute for a pedicure — she did an excellent job and took a lot of time/ paid attention to details.

The price was good especially when compared to another nail salon. The price was something in the twenties here for polishing and colouring.

I’m so happy to have found a great place for my pedicure. Lee has taken care of my feet now for the last 5 months and all my nail issues are resolved and no longer experience pinching nails below the surface. Friendly and professional is the ultimate compliment and I can vouch for it with my own experience. When I am there I see all these other regular customers who use other technicians and they all look very happy. Thanks for your great work!

Came here for a walk-in pedicure and they were able to help me immediately, which was great. I normally go elsewhere for a pedi, but since I was on a tight schedule and in this neighborhood, I thought I’d give it a try. I told the pedicurist to mainly focus on the callous, because that’s my biggest issue. Once he was done he asked me if it felt better, I said yes. However by the time I was home and my feet were completely dry, I realized it actually didn’t feel THAT much (45 dollars worth) better. And I kinda feel like it needs to be done again, so that’s a bit disappointing but also the ‘risk’ I took by trying a different place.

Other than that, the place was nice and the staff seems friendly. Perhaps I’ll try a manicure next time.

You know, it’s always a hit and miss with nail salons but i decided to get it done here because it was closer to work. Let me tell you about Ha that did my nails! They were 110% perfect. Just the way i wanted and placed perfectly on my nails. Usually i feel having fake nails on me but this was so comfortable to have (i got my nails done after 5 years). It was so easy to do daily tasks. I got it done on December 20th and i still have it on strong (jan 9th).

This is the most horrible place to go to NOONE should ever visit this place! The entire staff are just very rude and because they are Asian they pretend not to hear you when you speak to them but in actual fact they do.they book you an appointment and when you get there they try to convince you to change it cause they have other clients not minding how far away you are coming from? Not to mention the fact that their nails does not last and this is not being biased in anyway.it happened couple of times but they always seem to have an excuse your nails are long your nails are short.million and one excuses when they could just be Top nails like they call themselves but in actual this is Bottom nails shop!

I came here to get my nails done for my birthday and I got exactly what I asked for. The entire staff was so friendly and kind.

Got a last minute appointment for bio gel full set and they fit me im immediately! Ha was my tech and she was lovely. Great atmosphere and quality service. Will be returning!

The only place that has properly care for my cuticles and nails when I chose a manicure. Usually, techs superficially gloss over proper nail and cuticle care and focus more on nail art. The last time I went, Tsui (apologies if I miswrote your name) was my tech and she did such a fabulous job (3+ weeks ago) that people remark on my nails wherever I go. Thank you!

It took me a while to finally find a great place to get my nails done. Tu is amazing, fast and always remembers exactly how I like my bails done! I highly recommend going to see Tu at Top Nails!

This is my critical reviews alias but this time I’m posting a purely positive one! I usually do my own nails, decided to get them done at a nail salon this time to celebrate a personal achievement. Picked a design I liked best from online, which has been perfectly replicated. Transparent with the price from the beginning; accepting the fact that everything involved manual labour is expensive in this country, I find the price pretty reasonable

The staff was very friendly and attentive. I got exactly what I asked for. Prices are a little high but reasonable for what you get.

This is my favourite nail place in Ottawa! Been going here for over 7 years and they’re the best! Such kind customer service and a very clean salon. Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for a spot to get a mani or pedi

I have been coming to this nail salon for years. I have been satisfied with their excellent work. Your money is just worth it coz of the good quality of work they provide.

One thing, they can probably do better- nail arts. Other than that, very good service. <3

My first time at this nail salon. The nail tech was nice and friendly, she was kind of aggressive with the nail machine and made two of my cuticles bleed. She did a great job with the shape and the design. Overall, a little pricey and beware of aggressive nail tools they use. Tell them not to get so close your cuticles.

I love the entire staff here, all very polite and professional. I always get exactly what I ask for and they always surpass my expectations. They also play very relaxing music and are such talented people. I highly recommend this nail salon.

Had to wait over an hour from my booked time, was told that dip nails lasted longer, 3 nails broke 1 day later. The most fragile nails I have ever gotten. Insanely disappointed

10/10. I have been coming to Top Nails since 2018 when I started working in the area. I discovered the shop because I had walked by. Its a cute, cozy and clean spot. I love all of the staff, they are very professional, friendly and respectful. I recommend Top Nails to all my friends, family and clients. I also recommend everyone that works there, they are all amazing! Thank you for everything.

Thu is amazing! I cannot wait to see her again. She is swift, gentle but meticulous. These are my favorite nails by far! Price is great by comparison for the service, and 10/10 would recommend!

please note that i have been going to this nail saloon for at least 3 years but today one of the staff was very rude to me to the point i couldn't finish my nails and all i had to do was cry and am still crying writing this.none has ever ever treated me the way she did.i just hope none treats you guys the way to treated me today.

It was my first time in the store and definitely the last time! The lady was super rude and was in hurry for no reason! She was not gentle with my nails when she was filing them! After couple of hours my nails are still in pain! My nails were not symmetric at all and there are some bumps on it too! I ended up filing my nails when I arrived home!

I'm very disappointed, I got an acrylic fill and when looked at the price board it said $30. At the bottom of this price board it said shellac included in pricing. When I was finished and went to pay she over charged me $20. FOR WHAT? I had explained I have never paid 50 DOLLARS for a acrylic fill before and that I was clearly misinformed. She then pretended not to understand what I was saying, yet through the whole service she understood me perfectly.
My friend came with me and was over charged $15 for a simple shellac manicure, which they did not do properly. The lady she had doing her service also was very rude and acted in a BIG rush for no reason. We were the only two in the salon.
It was a horrible experience and our nails were definitely not worth the price they made us pay. 0/10

First time visiting them for shellac manicure, and they did a great job! It's a super affordable place so dont expect fancy bells and whistles like hand massages and free drinks, but they give you perfect nails and are extremely attentive to the details that their clients want. It's going to be my regular shop from now on!

I like this place because the ladies are always nice but I tend to swing in here when I am on my way down bank as a pit stop. Usually quick service!

Went here for the first time on my lunch as a walk-in, and I have to say I’m super happy with how my nails turned out! I always get shellac done on my natural nails and the technician did an amazing & clean job.

The prices are super fair and all the staff in there are welcoming, professional and nice.

I’ll see how long this shellac lasts and I‘ll be back. Even though I didn’t have an appointment and it was super busy, they took me in without a wait!
