I would give 5 stars for the products, but the shipping company sucks. You have to be home to receive it and they don't send any notifications when they are close to delivering the package (like intelcom does). If you miss the delivery, a note is left on your door. There is no way to know when it will be delivered. I emailed customer support to advise them that I would not be home between 10: 45am and noon the next day. The response I got was that my package would be delivered between 8am and 6pm? Luckily, I got home at 11: 30am and the driver showed up with the package at 11: 40am. The products were delicious and well packaged, but the delivery system/company should provide updates with regards to delivery times. It would save a lot of stress.

Terrible! Waiting 26 days for my order…. Delivery date keeps changing. They won’t refund my money…customer service is abhorrent…. They don’t care. Don’t order from them!

What a great place, the Moonshine and liquors of this distillers are out of this world. Visiting Perth, this place is a must stop

What a wonderful craft distillery. Their products are exceptional and taste better than the conventional, big distilleries.
Their offerings are unique and their Vodka specifically is better than any mainstream "top shelf" products!

It was a shipping nightmare not worth it.

‘Jim’ who answers TOP SHELF DISTILLERS’ emails and phone, used a shipping company that’s an hour one-way for pickup. Do you want to drive 2 hours for your parcel?

Jim said he would reship the items right away. It’s been a week and Jim never shipped it.

Kingston orders will go to belleville for pickup, so don’t waste your time.

Then Jim didn’t want to refund my money and the package wasn’t shipped yet. Eventually he did but on the wrong order, in a lesser amount.

Jim likes to lecture you on your vocabulary, and will attempt to blame you for him not shipping your package in a reasonable time. When he says he will ship it out right away, he means maybe next week, or the week after.

I see many of these low stars are due to shipping. They never fixed their shipping issues and it continues to be problematic.

Find a different brand of booze, it’ll be a lot less headaches. Or enjoy driving 2 hours to pickup at your local post office at 1.55 per litre for gas.

No point calling Jim… he will say his shipping company choice is your fault.

Save yourself the belittling Jim conversation and just don’t order.

Just by chance I picked up a bottle of Top Shelf vodca at my local LCBO. It is without a doubt the smoothest and most tasty vodca I have had. It makes the very best martini ever! If I ever drive by the distillery, I definitely will call in.

I have been a fan of Top shelf regular vodka for quite a number of years now since they started to sell their product at LCBO, I even got family member's some as gifts and they love it. I ordered online on their website the first time a few weeks ago as I wanted to try something different the customer service is nothing but amazing and what I ordered was great I love it, I will definitely order from top shelf again in the future and would recommend them to anyone, it is wonderful that they are local as well.

I’m happy to support this distillery and stop in whenever I’m in Perth ON. They have a wide variety of items and some uniquely Canadian flavours (eg Butter Tart). Always a good place to pick up something for small gifts to take to family overseas that make them remember their time in Canada.

Would love to rate this product based on quality. But alas, it has not been shipped. They are 6 hours away from me, and they cannot make a delivery within a month? I smell a dying company.

Got the box. 26oz mint liquor…ew. And 3 sample bottles of stuff I might like. Two gingerbread tomahawks and some mocha mix? Why not send something to make one of the two drinks on the recipe cards you sent? We’ll see what comes next month. My mom ordered 3 months for me. Don’t waste her money please.

Cute distillery. You can taste their products if you ask. I really liked the soju, it's not like the Korean sojus, more like a hybrid, but absolutely delicious. I tasted the buttertart moonshine. Tasted like butter tarts Staff was friendly too

I haven’t received my order after 2 weeks, nobody returns my e-mails, I have left several. So all in all, terribly disappointed.

Ordered some Moonshine for gifts for a couple friends, the order was made on September 7th, when a week went by without any updates I sent them a message asking about the shipment times, they said the order would be shipped early the next week, on the 20th they told me it was shipping out the next day, I got tracking for it and was excited since I ordered myself a couple things as well. I ordered last year around Christmas and waited a little over a month for that order to come through, with roads out in BC it made sense that it took so long.

Today I received am email asking me to review the products that I ordered and I thought it was weird since I hadn't received them yet. So I checked the tracking thinking they must know something I don't, but the tracking I have still says "label created" which would mean that Cananda post still doesn't have the package. When I use their chat feature on their website it says the order is being prepared for shipment, so it hadn't shipped yet.

It's currently October 2nd and the items I ordered over 3 weeks ago have not shipped yet.

I have asked my bank for a chargeback and told the customer service to cancel the order.
I won't be ordering again from a company that shows little to no respect for their customers. If there is a delay I understand but tellingmme it will ship on the 21st and not updating me when it doesn't is super rude and disrespectful.
0/10 would recommend the booze if you're able to pick it up yourself would NEVER recommend ordering anything from this company, EVER

Theese guys make a great product but their shipping is horrendous im on the 3rd week and still no delivery! Customer service can use major attention because it's nill to no customer service! I won't ever be ordering anything from here again there are so many other distilleries that would love the bussiness!

We stopped on our drive from London to Ottawa and were so impressed with the customer service. The employees that helped us were very knowledgeable and friendly, the store was adorable and the products are all top notch

Drove an hour just to get the butter tart moonshine and ended up leaving with a few bottles of other flavours as well. They were all really delicious, the staff was very friendly and it was a bonus to find out there was free ev charging right outside.
Definitely recommend visiting!

SO good! Started with the Butter Tart liqueur and then was intrigued with the cherry moonshine. As a last minute decision, added Blueberry moonshine to the order and so glad we did. It’s now our go to sipping cocktail in the house. Delicious product and we hope to get to the shop this summer as a road trip. We have ordered a few times and given bottles as gifts.

The French toast, applied pie, and butter tarts moonshine were delicious. (We bought all three)

Hopefully the next time we visit they will have swag to buy

The delivery is way too slow. Have been waiting two weeks and still no product. Get your shipping in order or you will lose customers.

We had the loveliest personalized tour here right before the pandemic! I’m not sure if that’s still available but everyone there just had the best “spirit”. Super passionate and eager to answer questions. The homemade bitters are an extra special touch! 10/10 would recommend

Have ordered from Top Shelf several times. Recommended to family and friends. Love the product but this last order took over
a month to receive after many back and forth emails. Abominable customer service. Great with the meaningless platitudes but short on actual service. You've lost me as a repeat customer indefinitely. So disappointed.

Their products are amazing. Their customer service and shipping and so abysmal that I stopped ordering.

I've ordered four or five times from them. They take the order and then just sit on it until you email them to find out what's going on. It's like a full time job to deal with them.

One time I placed a 200 dollar order. The product was out of stock. They said they'd email me when it would come in. They never did. I followed up with THEM and they said it's in stock. What kind of business is this?

While the product may be good the delivery process and communication should be embarrassing to them. I received an email advising my shipment was ready and a link to track. I requested updates by text and email and received NOthing. The box arrived when we were not home and since it was alcohol it could not be left. Arranging a second delivery was not easy and on the second attempt, the package was left with no signature and nobody rang the doorbell either. No response yet for 3 days from customer service.

The actual building isn’t open but you can step into a tiny space to purchase their products. Tasty samples are available! Try the butter tart liquor…it’s sweet but yummy! Their bitters are delicious but they are known for their vodka and gin!

Excellent products and customer service. Delivered right to my door in time for Christmas giving.

Additional: Just really enjoyed their Stuck in the Present experience kit - like having an Escape Room in a box! Incredible amount of work and craftsmanship made for a great time.

I live in Brampton. I placed my order on a Sunday, it arrived on Tuesday. I was like a kid in a candy store browsing thru the website. I cannot wait to try the various items purchased.

Many positive things to say about these lovely people and their booze too. Their vodka is my favourite vodka. Smooth, reasonably priced, nice bottle, almost a bit sweet. I recently went overboard and ordered almost all the Moonshines in various sizes. Love the smaller sizes to try things out! Reasonably priced too. I think the butter tart is best on its own, followed by the cinnamon, which will also work well in tea and milk and a variety of cocktails. The pb chocolate may only work with milk. I knew that going in, ha. The cherry is not sweet or simulated, bit more tart. Maple bacon is.interesting. I'd say that and cherry are my least faves, but it's subjective. The plain maple is the biggest bottle I got, as I figured it would be the most versatile in cocktails. That said I think the apple pie, butter tart, and cinnamon have more to offer. Fuller more complex flavour, so great on their own. Mixing apple pie + cinnamon + and maple = Mmmm. I must also say the company's customer care and attention to detail is stellar. They shipped most of my order to get it to me sooner, and not only did they include some sweet notes explaining the butter tart stuff was on its way, they also emailed, called, and gave me bonus butter tarts to boot! So thoughtful. Also gave me some coasters and a key chain thing. Felt loved. Feeling is mutual. A+

I bought the butter tart package which was delivered within a week.the butter tart filling is delicious and the pastry is fkaky but coukd be thinner.the moonshine will be a christmas gift so withholding comment till then

As a member of Harvest Hosts we were able to park our RV overnight and enjoy a relaxing even sipping wonderful spirits and enjoying the beautiful sunset. Will and Brook were super friendly and Sara made booking our stay a breeze. The dill pickle moonshine makes a fantastic addition to a Classic Ceasar!
