Went there yesterday to get a trim on my dead ends. Had hair halfway down my back. Once I left, my hair is above my shoulders, uneven and choppy looking. I had to go to another salon and get it fixed where I was told that they some type of scissors or technique to add texture to my hair however, I have wavy/curly hair. Therefore, it made my hair look choppy. I will not be going back to this location ever again and I’m really disappointed.

A very nice place, clean and no wait time.
We came as walk-in and the hairdresser was free to receive us right away. He cut my daughters hair and mine exactly as we asked.
It was fast, efficient and accurate hair cut.
My daughter is very happy with the result, I like my new haircut very much.
The prices are reasonable and this way its easier to tip generously.
The seer ice was great and the workers are very nice.

Just had one of the best hair cuts I've had in years. Tuyet is really good at what she does, as well as being very pleasant.

Honestly only needed a slight buzz on the sides. Nothing complicated! For that purpose the service was pretty good and I enjoyed my conversation with the kind lady!

Wouldn’t let me hold the straps to my mask during cut, leaving long hairs around my ears and face. I kept trying to ask him to fix it and he made me feel uncomfortable. As I was leaving, another customer was holding his mask the way I was trying to, so certainly it was possible. I left feeling uncomfortable and not given the service I asked for. Now I have to go somewhere else to fix these patches of long hair where I wasn’t allowed to hold onto my mask straps.

Responsive staff: I came as a walk-in and was seen ~10mins later.
Quick service: haircut was 1/2hr or less.
Reasonable price: $23 w/ tax.

As the lockdown was lifted in Toronto as of July 2021, I was looking for a place to have a haircut. "Top Cuts" offered great service, quality cut at a reasonable price. I took an appointment over the phone on July 2nd and got my cut on July 3rd in the morning. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the cut, the Vietnamese lady was very good and experienced. I am very happy with my choice of salon and the great haircut at low price. Thanks!

Very sweet hair dresser— but did not get the haircut I had asked for. My hair has very choppy layers now, even though I had asked for longer layers (*cries*). A lot of length was lost because of this, BUT my bangs do look great and she was so nice I felt bad saying anything!

I’ve only had good experiences here! The staff are a friendly professionals who know what they’re doing, and the prices are fair too.

I called in advance to ask for a bleach+ cut job, they said it was absolutely possible. When I arrived, the man whom I had spoke to on the phone decided to lie directly to my face about our first conversation insisting that he had already refused to the colour. He then proceeded to cut my hair like he was mowing the lawn. As my friend and I began to pay, the employee who helped my friend yelled at us, as to who would pay first. That entire experience was wildly unprofessional. 0/10.

Great place for a cheap price, I just got a trim and I'm happy I found a place that is cheap that I can go to often for trims!

I've been going here with my family since last year. Quick service. No matter how many people show up.

Walked in and got service right away. Kids hair cut. The guy did a good job and was helpful in keeping my little guy occupied.

Worst place to get a haircut. Even one star is too much!
Took my 4 year old to get a proper haircut and now poor kid looks like an 80 year old. The lady who served us was very rude and unpleasant. I asked for advice what style/cut would work best and she just snapped that she will cut whatever I like. This is extremely unprofessional. After we agreed on at least hair length she just kept cutting and cutting. As soon as I complained she snapped and blamed us for her mistake!

I've been going to this location since it was near Sussex ave and Spadina. Haircuts are inexpensive and service is good. I would recommend Tuyet, shes kind and will attend to they style you want. She will greet you when you come in, and she has a lot of regulars. The other lady, Anila I believe is also good, shes a great person to go to as well.

After reading several reviews, I decided to try this small establishment. I was not to be disappointed! I was given a 5 star hair washing including head massage, and the cut was exactly what I asked for. I tipped with joy for their exceptional service.

Horrible experience. The lady who cut my hair was rude and extremely unpleasant. The customer service was bad enough to never come here, but the awful haircut she gave me is even more of a reason not to come. She was also very rough with my hair and cut as fast as she possibly could. I wish I could leave a review that was less than one star because that's how badly I felt I was treated.

I have been going here for years since it was located on Spadina Ave.and now on Harbord but I primarily only partronize one stylist, Anila, who I think is the best stylist at this location. I have tried the other stylists. Ben does a very good job with the male customers and the other female stylist is also decent. However, I think Anila is the best by far.
