Very convenient if your flight is late and you have to spend night in Toronto.
Bed is the best and all entire room was clean, warm and cozy.

I was put up at this hotel after missing a connecting flight. The staff was friendly. The saving grace was the restaurant; surprisingly good food for an airport Marriott. The rooms were clean but dated.

We’ve stayed in 6 hotels in Eastern Canada on vacation and this hotel by far and wide was the best. Even being next to the airport, I don’t hear planes from our room on the top floor. The room feels new, clean, spacious and fresh. The concierge lounge is top notch. Great daytime snacks and beverages, fantastic food at night and the breakfast was fantastic. Our host Sylvie is the nicest person, she is truly a gem. She has great customer service and treats everyone so well. She’s like your favorite auntie, and always in the best, upbeat personality.

I had a meeting over there for an hour and park my car in hotel parking, when i back i got $90 tickets, that was crazy, inside of hotel parking getting parking tickets from the city

My room was dirty and didn't feel clean. For the process per night, I would expect a clean room and more up to date carpets/furniture.

I stayed two nights for business. It was accommodating and provided a good experience. Easy to get from here to the airport and seemed clean and safe.

Stayed here for our first vacation in a long time. While the staff was friendly, we found the experience pretty off-putting. The stay was pricey and the hotel charged extra for most things a simpler/less "classy" hotel might offer. (Breakfast for example is going to run you at least 27$ per person, per day, so if you're looking for a better dining option, this isnt it.) To put the dining experience more into perspective, the kitchen staff think its okay to send out burnt room service- there is little quality control. Maids were nice, but we found someone elses socks behind the arm chair - did they even look back there?
Rooms are kind of dated, and do be careful when showering as they do not provide slip mats! (Also beware of weird brown runoff from the top of the bathroom door, i dont think they clean the doortops at all.)

All in all this was a place to stay. Should absolutely look elsewhere for a better experience unless you're just using this place as a pass through.

OUR CAR WAS STOLEN FROM THEIR UNDERGROUND PARKING GARAGE! We chose this hotel because we know Toronto has a car theft problem and it had a underground parking garage. With a few changes they could secure it but they didn't seem too concerned. Sleeping there your ok parking. STAY AWAY!

The staff was very kind and helpful! I went downstairs to the bar one of the night’s and the food, drink, and service were excellent.
The hotel was very clean. I just wish the vanity area was inside of the bathroom; otherwise, it was great. Location wise- I wish it was closer to downtown, but that was not really a problem. The shuttle could take you to the Pearson Airport for free, and then I’d just take the UP Express train straight into Union Station which was in downtown Toronto. Thank you!

Not impressed. The shuttle service took me to the wrong hotel and they expected me to wait for the next shuttle to go back to the airport and then wait again for the shuttle to my hotel. No shower curtains. The bathroom takes a shower with me and I need to mop up the floor. This hotel cannot be recommended.

Extremely disappointed in the service. I inadvertently forgot to cancel my first reservation attempt. So the hotel double charged me.for my actual stay.plus the mistaken duplicate reservation.for more than $150. What an incredible client "unfriendly" approach. I will make sure all friends and associates become aware of this.

We showed up late for checkin, and there was no room in the parking lot for our truck with a 30 ft trailer. The gentleman who checked us in went to see what he could figure out for us, and they ended up parking us in a gated area that they used for their snow - clearing equipment. They obviously did not have to do this and we were extremely grateful that they did. The room was clean, and the beds were really comfortable.
It was our first time staying here, but we will definitely do so again the next time we are through Toronto.

Last week, our clinical operations team had two dinners at the Marriott at their restaurant. The staff members were amazing, and it was all very organized. The food was also delicious. Chef Tj and his team truly blew us away. The restaurant managers, Gary and Dexter, were also excellent and facilitated everything very well. The waitresses, Theresa and Biba were always making sure we were doing well too. In the future, we will definitely be coming back and we would recommend this Marriott to anyone looking to have a great time!

First of all the worst old guy at the front desk, he don’t even want to answer my questions, immediately I asked him can I speak to supervisor he said nobody is there … and talking to me very normally your room number is this and this … immediately take action on him … rooms are very very worst … towels have hair, I feel like it’s very short hair … I don’t know ‍️ what hair it it … I called front desk for changing the towels, she said politely sure and sent new towels but again few long hair in these … worst experience ever

Stayed at Marriott Airport Toronto for 8 nights consecutively with 4 seperate extensions through 3rd party. Initially the hotel took a $100 deposit when I arrived. The first 4 extensions they just gave me a new room key. On the 8th night extended/checked 2pm. Out of nowhere at 10 pm manager demaded more security funds I didn't have access to. Inwas forcednto pack and lea thr hotel after midnight.

Dirty, dingy, outdated room at a whopping 250 per night. Everything is outdated and gungy looking, half hearted attempt at cleanliness. Rock hard "king size" bed which is more like a queen.at least the sheets and comforter look white and fresh.

I've stayed in cheap motels that were nicer than this. Very disappointed in the room for the price.

CPA Ontario used this hotel as a writing centre for the common final exam this year. The staff were so welcoming and supportive, they even wished us luck as we walked in and ensured the flow of people was constant to adhere to social distancing guidelines. The rooms were clean and well laid out and made the entire experience that much more comfortable. They even went the extra mile and added our names to the greeting on the in room TV. Thank you to all the staff that made all of those lovely considerations and pieces of encouragement possible.

Brutal night. Rented 2 rooms the night before an early flight. Noisy neighbors were not dealt with when calling front desk. Spoke to them next morning and they could only offer 25% off one of the 2 rooms. That's $50 off my $500 tab. Will never return. Better off sleeping in the airport.

The old lady at front desk was super rude, no greetings nothing. Other staff was nice and helpful. They made us park at the hotel next to them since their own parking was full but then it was raining and we were soaking wet walking to the hotel. Our shower was clogged with hair and felt disgusting to stand in there. Location is good and nice ambiance.

Very nice hotel. Class all the way. Out of all the hotels we stayed at this summer only one that had everything open. We used bon voy app. Some hotels $2000 a week. But restaurants closed because of covid. They were not like others. You get what you pay for!

Sheraton Gateway is the most convenient of all hotels near Toronto Airport because it’s connected to the YYZ terminal, however it’s also the most expensive. When I am not pressed for time I sometimes don’t mind staying at cheaper hotels which require a shuttle, but all other Marriott options I tried around the airport in the past have been mediocre. This time I stayed one night at Marriott YYZ and it was more of the same: the room was forgettable and in some ways worse than alternatives close to the airport.

For only one night I am not overly worried about suite upgrades as Bonvoy Ambassador Elite but for stays where I would want more space, Marriott is certainly not the place to go to maximize chances for complimentary suite upgrades. The hotel has over 400 rooms and when I checked in at the hotel they told me they only had 4-5 suites and all of them were occupied.

At least I was upgraded to a corner room rather than no upgrade at all, and the room was marginally more spacious than the entry level room (36 sqm vs 31 sqm). The room was very dated, the carpet was wrinkled, the air conditioning was weak, the bathroom was tiny with a dreaded shower in a tub, the ceiling was disgusting, and all the furniture was old throughout. The only positive about the room was that the bed itself was very comfortable and worthy of the Marriott brand.

The lounge was closed due to covid and unlike some stingy hotels which offer nothing as a replacement, at least at Marriott they made some effort by offering one starter from the menu; I found the beef tacos to be decent.

I did not stay for breakfast but I can report that it was not temporarily suspended, in fact upon check-out they offered me to get a couple of items to go if I wanted such as a granola parfait and a coffee.

Overall I was not impressed by the room at Marriott and given the large number of choices near the airport I would not pay a premium to stay at this property compared to the lesser brands especially if staying for only one night. Among hotels of this caliber I find the rooms nicer at Hilton and I would even pick both DoubleTree hotels ahead of Marriott for the room as well.

When my dad came back to Canada after a business trip, he stayed here to complete the mandatory 3 day quarantine. He had an absolutely horrible experience. The room had a musty smell, and the water was scalding hot. He could barely wash his hands. The food was disgusting and a complete disappointment. The portions were very small and on multiple occasions, he received the wrong food from what he initially requested. There is no doubt that the hotel industry suffered a lot because of the pandemic, but it seems like they scaled back on customer service to cut their losses.

They continue to safely practice covid measures. Staff is pleasant and very helpful. Room was very clean. Not quite close to many eateries but Door Dash works just fine. Breakfast is provided and they will deliver to your room.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, the rooms were very clean, the food was amazing and the staff members were helpful and friendly. I will recommend this to anyone any day.

Was there for a day and a half doing the mandatory Government Quarantine. The staff was friendly, welcoming, kind, and understanding. They treated me so well. They also have a lovely back area for your daily "Wellness Walks" while you are waiting for your test results. Would definitely recommend, if you are going to have to stay in Toronto in between flights.

MY STAY WAS OKAY HOWEVER THE RECIPTONIST (LOUIS) WHOME I WAS ASKING ABOUT SOME DETAILS GAVE ME THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AS SHE WAS YELLING AT ONE POINT AND ACCUSING ME OF LYING ABOUT HAVING ALREADY CHECKED OUT. I HAVE ALWAYS LOVED STAYING AT MARRIOTT AND EXTREMLEY HAPPY WITH THE SERVICE HOWEVER THIS LADY LITERALLY RUINED THE PERCEPTION I HAD.

The hotel is leveraging of the mandatory quarantine to be unhelpful and rude to client. It feels like you are in a penitentiary or a Rehab facility.

No greetings or courtesy at the front desk, they only read the rules to you immediately.

They can't entertain any request outside their rigid rules and menu. A simple reheat of food goes a long way. Their excuse is they don't want to contaminate their staff - just disinfect the food bowl and reheat - it's that simple and logical.

Room service and customer service are very rude and condescending.

You will have to bring your luggages in and out by yourself, no matter the size and weight.

The food choice is very limited and tastes bland. It doesn't consider other races and cultures. If you've got a problem with it, get your food outside- so if i can do that, why did you charge me exorbitant money for 3 meals a day.

They are rude, insensitive and no value for money.

I booked this hotel for quarantine as per the rule of government. The room was dusty and also the service was really bad. When we call to the reception they won't attend the phone on time.
Everywhere was dusty say, coffee machine, TV, Phone.everywhere. They didn't clean the room prior to the entry of guest. Also the food was vey bad.

Worst customer service I have ever experienced. I have now being trying to cancel a reservation for 2 WEEKS. Due to covid my honeymoon and wedding are postponed which is hard enough. We were planning on staying here before our flight. I was told this isn’t an acceptable reason to cancel and will be charged the full amount anyways. When I booked I made sure there was a good cancelation policy. Really disappointed and I will never rebook here as they are charging me for a room, even though I have called multiple times, emailed, and gave lots of notice. Just what I need right now to make things even more stressful! Honestly cannot believe how a hotel can be like this. I’ve stayed in motels with nicer employees. Do not recommend if you are booking for the future unless you know 100% that covid won’t ruin your plans.

It was short, but nice stay. Booked room on the way from the airport. They have nice hot tub and swimming pool. Open until 11pm. Also bar open until midnight. Close to airport. Good service.

A little cramped and old but otherwise very good. Coffee available in the concierge in the morning. Meals pricey as always away Marriott properties.

Great hotel with 5 star amenities. However, if u r expecting a pick-up from the airport, dont hold your breath. The shuttle frequency is very low (every 30 mins at best), compared to other hotels (including other Marriott brands).

I really enjoyed the service at the Airport Marriott. The staff know how to spoil the frequent traveler. Nice lounge for Elite members and a mighty awesome breakfast. Enjoyed the gym. Didn’t make it to the pool but it looked ok. Hotel is a little dated but they have tried to spruce it up. Compared to what some hotels charge on this road, this seems a good value.

I attended an event in the main location it was wonderful, beautiful, nice food, nice room. I stayed in the courtyard just beside, it was ok not as nice as the main building and I heard the elevator sound all night so I didn't sleep well.

Rooms are nothing special, the underground parking is horrible. Its so low our truck scraped the top from the low entrance. Way over priced and you pay for wifi! Iv never stayed anywhere that I had to pay to use wifi. Internet is unlimited yet they are charging people to use it. Will never stay here AGAIN! The lobby stinks so strong of sprays it made my eyes water.

The staff are very friendly and accommodating. This is my third time staying at this hotel and have never had a bad experience. The rooms are clean and tidy and the front desk staff is helpful and happy to be of service. I would recommend.

Very busy location, right across from World Vision, considering it opened within the last year. Now there's one north of the 401 and one south of the 401, on Hurontario.

Stayed at the hotel to attend a Gala. Location of the hotel was easy to get to and close to the 401. The room was nice and clean. Service was good and efficient. Pool was cold and had a lot of chlorine in it. Jacuzzi was great.

First time staying here, however I have attended other events here in the past. The large venue room is well laid out, appropriate lighting and the staff were great. The room was impressive as well - stayed in a king regular room. Equipped with a fridge, TV, nightstands, desk, and ample sized bathroom. I would stay here again, if in the area.

Stayed overnight in between flights. Staff and services were excellent. I was upgraded to a concierge level room. The room was clean and spacious, the lounge had a very good selection of food for breakfast. I will definitely stay here again next time when I'm in between flights.

Stayed there for work Holiday party. The room was small and it looked outdated. We got a corporate rate deal (not sure I can name the price here). When I heard how much the room costs without the corporate deal I was shocked because I would never pay $320 for this type of room!
