My family and I have been going to Toronto Beach Dental for the past six years +. After numerous disappointing experiences in the GTA we knew we were in the right place the moment we stepped into Toronto Beach Dental. The spacious reception area is spotlessly clean and emits a calming ambience which immediately puts my family’s typical anxious dental office nerves at ease. The reception team always greets us with a positive and warm welcome. They accommodate my family's busy schedule with urgent and follow-up appointments and value punctuality as we are always seen on time.

A special shout out to Dr. MacDonald, our dentist, Dr. Inger, our periodontist and Faye, our dental hygienist!
They are true gems! Not only do they take the time to explain every procedure in detail, but also listen to all our family’s concerns and addresses them with patience ensuring minimal discomfort. Our procedures have included dental cleaning, fillings, gum surgery, crowns, dental implants and teeth whitening.

25 years of excellent dental work! I’ve been a patient since I was a child and regardless of all of the moves in my life, and how much further I’ve lived, I still continue to make the drive in for the best dentist ever.

My childhood dentist retired several years ago and ever since, I've been struggling to find a dentist who measured up to the quality of care I recieved from Dr Falk. I wasn't having a lot of luck until a friend recommended Dr John (aka Dr. Ionnis Servinis).

Dr John is incredibly knowledgeable and dedicated. He is thorough in his diagnosis and takes the time to patiently lay out the benefits and drawbacks of various treatment options.

Dr John is meticulous and highly skilled in providing treatment. He has an obvious desire to provide high quality care. He is careful and thorough, never rushing.

In addition to his stellar hard skills, Dr John is beyond compassionate, continually checking in on patient comfort. He takes the time to answer questions and explain what to expect, which for me, definitely lessens any anxiety I may have. Dr John is joyful and generous, treating everyone around him with kindness and respect.

Speaking of those around him, Dr. John's assistant, Ina (sp? - sorry!) is incredibly competant, comforting and bright. She and John have a beautiful short-hand making the experience seamless and allowing me to relax cause I know I'm in good hands. Dream Team!

Toronto Beach Dental is clean and has staff that is professional and friendly—I have been a patient of theirs for over 20 years. My dentist started the process of retiring during the pandemic. For over a year I just stopped coming to the clinic; I was reluctant to choose a new dentist after being so happy with Dr. Jay for 20+ years. My parents are immigrants who (due to language barriers) mainly choose doctors of the same ethnicity. Unfortunately this often means choosing from a small pool of doctors. They sometimes have to choose specialists who are clinically skilled, but lack bedside manners and/ or are uncaring. In one way or another my parents have been sadly disaffected by having to deal with some uncaring doctors. Medical or dental school can teach you to how to be a skilled practitioner, but they can’t teach you how to care about your patients, or be a good human being; For this reason I am very selective with my choice of doctors. I have seen most of my doctors for 15 or 20+ years and built a great relationship with all of them. A few months ago (by chance) I ended up seeing Dr. John (Ionnis) Servinis because he was available during my cleaning. Since having had a few more appointments with him I and can attest that he is a very skilled and detailed dentist, a sweet and kind man (with a good sense of humour), but most importantly he GENUINELY CARES about his patients. He has taken the time to answer my questions promptly by phone or email. With every visit he tries to educate his patients on long term oral health. I have changed a few products and steps in my oral health regime thanks to his recommendations. Dr. John has exceeded my expectations with his commitment to excellent patient care. He always puts his patients first! I went from Dr. Jay to Dr. John (lol) and am very happy about my new choice.

The doctors here are amongst the most professional dentists in the world. A special shout out to John and Peter, who always give straight to the facts answers to any questions I have and always provide the best, most caring service. Remember to floss kids!

Well, I’ve been following Dr Jay now for years but I have been seeing Dr. Peter and I really enjoyed seeing him as he made my appointment less stressful for me always and he is a great dentist as well so I was sad to hear when I phoned that Dr. Peter was not there. He was in school so they would have to get, another doctor to see me which made me a little nervous due to some of my medical issues and complications seeing dentists. So they set me up with an appointment with Dr. John. To later, find out, he was Dr Peter’s brother, which gave me a little relief knowing he could talk to his brother, but I have to say after today’s appointment I would be comfortable seeing any of the dentist at Toronto beach dental office. So if you were looking for a dentist, I highly recommend Toronto Beach Dental.

Jay Rabinovich is an amazing dentist. He has been our dentist for over 30 years. We would follow him to the moon and back. We are so happy that he decided to come back to be semi retired and work a few days a week at the office.

My new dentist at this location, Dr. John (first name is a wonderful dentist. He's sweet, funny, and good at his craft, for someone so young. In my 65 years of going to a dentist, it's the first time I've never felt even a pinch of the needle for freezing. Amazing.

As for Faye, the hygienist, the absolute best. Only hygienist I've had who does a thorough cleaning who also discovered a problem with a tooth and because of dedication to her patients, her care resulted in ensuring it was addressed and treated without the tooth from being pulled. I cannot recommend her enough.

We have had several, aka many, dentists during our lifetime and Dr Kim by far is THE BEST…. Even though some of the others were really good. Her bedside… oops chair manner, is superb, but as importantly, her attention to detail and thorough explanation of current and future potential treatments is phenomenal. Thanks Dr Kim.

I have had a lot of dental work over the years starting as a young child (bad genetics and poor oral hygiene, especially when younger). I have probably regularly visited a dozen dentists as an adult and Dr. John is so far above and beyond any of them it's hard to describe. Warm, friendly, personable. A perfectionist who cares deeply about making sure I knew exactly what he was doing and why including showing me photos on my phone of my teeth to describe the problem areas. I can honestly say this is probably the first time I ever feel like I will look forward to my next dental visit.

A lovely experience if you can say that about going to the dentist. Office is so clean and inviting. Everyone is very pleasant and you can feel the comradery of the people who work there. We moved out of the city (2 hrs drive) and still come back to Toronto Beach Dental. I highly recommend this dental office.

It is the most immaculate, professional, friendly, knowledgeable dental office I’ve ever been in. The people are so kind, pleasant and truly wonderful. I am sure glad I happened to pick up Dr. Rabinovich’s flyer when he first set up his practice; I have benefited in myriad ways since then. I have never been disappointed and now there is a group! Every one deserves five stars, whatever their role may be.

Amazing staff and such a wonderful and positive atmosphere. My son was so nervous to get his tooth removed, and Dr. Peter Servinis made it such a calming experience for him, explaining the process and asking him how he was feeling throughout it all. What a great dental office. We will definitely be going back and making this our dental place from now on.

Would highly recommend this place. Great location however Parking is a little tricky in the area especially during the summer time. Facilities are clean and modern and the hygienists and dentists are very professional and knowledgeable. Overall I would recommend here for friendly, efficient service.

It turn out that they do not want to bill directly, regardless if you have health coverage and worked for The Ministry of Health!
IT DOES NOT MATTER! TO THEM.

I found another great friendly place in the beaches that does great amazing work and you just simply walk out Stress Free knowing your coverage will take care of it. No hassles, super!

I see Dr. Alber at the office, he has been my dentist for more than 10 years. He is friendly and always professional. He explains all procedures and options, always takes the time to answer all my questions. I come from Oshawa to see him because I trust him to take great care of my teeth.

The dentists and staff are always professional and welcoming. Reception always greet you upon entering the office. The dentist and chair side assistants take time to address concerns to ensure your visit will be a good experience. Have been a patient of Dr. Alber's for many years.

I had such a positive experience here! My hygienist was so thorough and skilled. I also really liked the overall atmosphere of the office. Everyone was in a good mood! Which, during COVID, is impressive!

My experience at TBD has always been great! I keep coming back despite it being a bit of a trek from Casa Loma. Front staff are kind and courteous, and I appreciate the appointment reminders. My hygienist for the last few years has been Faye - who is wonderful - always giving sensible, actionable advice on how I can better take care of my teeth. Dentist is either Dr. Jay or Dr. Kim, depending on scheduling. Both are excellent. Thanks to the whole team:).

I stumbled across Dr. Kim after casting about following a much less than stellar experience with another dentist a few years ago. Since then, I followed her when she moved to TBD and I find the entire staff there match her excellent professional and friendly standards. No complaints whatsoever.

I have never been to a dentist so professional as Toronto Beach Dental. The space is clean, minimal, yet cozy. Dr. Macdonald is very informative, friendly, and patient. She’s amazing. I’m never going anywhere else.

Very fine. I moved with Doctor Albers when the office relocated. My Father is coming now too. He's almost a hundred and he has benefited from their excellent care. Thanks!

Work is okay, some bonding adheres, some falls off when you get home. Normal stuff. Admin could use some training, twice I confirmed appointments only to arrive "on the wrong day. " Again no biggie, I'll take part of the blame if need be. They seem to always be new people. What I dislike is the upsell while in the middle of a procedure. And I get doubly upset when I'm running errands and my daughter is in the chair and being up-sold. Again I don't mind extra work but tell me a few days in advance so I can run it past my dental insurance company. Don't ask her if it's okay to do an X-ray. If it's covered then by all means do the work, everybody needs to put food on the table. Fix the admin turnover problem and eliminate the upsell and it's not a bad dental office. (Additional note - after writing this review I visited the office again. Another patient was informed he had come in on the wrong day.)

I'm always having billing issues here. Two times in one year the receptionist billed me incorrectly and then hounded me to return for extra payment. The other dental offices in the beaches bill directly to my insurance like most business today without any hassle.

As per the fine print, do not trust when they promise your insurance will cover the visit.

The office called to book me in for the routine scheduled appointment. It was confirmed at this time via phone the visit would be covered (personally, wouldn't have came in otherwise).

When I arrived, I had them run an additional test claim, to be sure. I was reassured again that it was all covered.

Months later, I started receiving calls saying I owed the full amount - it wasn't covered, and isn't their responsibility. Threats to send me to collections. Suggestions that I pay them instead of my rent (?)

Be diligent & do not take what they promise in terms of fees, as fact.

Let me tell you, this is how dentistry should be. I've been terrified of the dentist since I was a child due to horrible experiences with previous dentists. The second I walked in to Toronto Beach Dental, I was welcomed with a warm greeting, personable staff and compassion. I expressed my feelings of anxiety and they assured me they'd do the best they could to make this a comfortable process. I could not be happier with the results and I will forever recommend this dentist. Dr. Cameron Chiang is absolutely amazing!

Dr. Alber is a professional, compassionate, and highly skilled dentist; always taking time to ease the comfort of any procedure, and never compromising either.

Ling, one of the hygienists at the clinic, is equally skilled at all doing a complete and thorough job, while keeping the comfort of the patient foremost! In addition, so long as you are on time, I’ve never had to wait more than a minute or two, nor have I ever felt rushed though my appointments.

As for the clinic itself; the decor and overall comfort of the clinic is both modern, professional, all the while keeping the patient comfortable and at ease - top notch!

Finally for the cost. Whether you have dental insurance or not, the rates are extremely reasonable and fair.

Great staff, professionals who are talented and caring. I see Dr. KIM and trust her advice. They are a great team and are very well organized. The new location is beautiful and serene. A happy place. I actually look forward to going to the dentist!

Dr. Alber is my regular dentist but when he isn't available, any one of his colleagues can step in and take care of my needs - great service! I've been a loyal patient of this business since my former (now retired) dentist joined them, and I believe it has been over 25 years that I've been their client, so this is a personal testimonial that Toronto Beach Dental is the best! Their office is pleasant and comfortable, thanks to the talented office manager, Deborah, who has excellent taste in design and decor. The office provides a calm, fresh, and comfortable atmosphere, with lots of natural daylight flooding the office. It doesn't even feel like a dental office! All the staff are nice, pleasant people who take pride in their work.

Dr. Janette MacDonald is exceptional, both in terms of professional care, and knowledge. There are no semi sincere hellos or how are yous. She is genuine, professional, and extremely conscientious. She listens carefully, and then gets to the point. Based on my experience I believe that her professionalism includes the virtues of high standards and real integrity. As for her skills, she brings a whole lot of experience, including in a hospital setting, to her work. The second best thing I (or anyone) can say about dental work is that there have been no issues concerning any of it. I have confidence in her skill. The most important thing is trust. I trust Dr. MacDonald, and this makes a world of difference as I walk through the doors of Toronto Beach Dental.

I apprehensively took my three year old for his first visit today as previous visits to the dentist had not been enjoyable. As soon as we walked through the door the admin lady made us feel welcome and the dentist nurse immediately put my son at ease which resulted in my smiling throughout his appointment. He managed to stay still to have his teeth cleaned and polished. I highly recommend them.
The only issue was that i struggled to get my pushchair up the steps and through the door due to no disability access but the receptionist was more than accommodating. They are a great team!

Dr. Kim Wood and Janet (the hygienist) were so kind. I had a really bad experience as a child with my dentist in Ottawa and as a result, have only gone to the dentist in dire circumstances. They made me feel comfortable - no embarrassment or shame. Just acceptance. But what really touched me. Dr. Wood saying as I left for my cleaning.that she was proud of me. This young, special and talented dentist is in the right profession. I can now go to the dentist - no longer afraid or ashamed. I recommend this dental office to everyone. Toronto Beach Dental is the most positive dental experience I have ever been to and could ever hope for! The staff are professional, efficient, kind, and tremendously helpful. I have loved going to the dentist ever since I switched to Toronto Beach Dental! I am so very fortunate to have Dr. Kim as my dentist and Sam as my dental assistant. They make me feel comfortable whenever I go and I always leave feeling happy and positive. They humour my quirks and questions and appointments are always fun. Every procedure is explained well in advance and everything is well-planned. My teeth have never looked better and they have been in such better condition under Dr. Kim's care. She is extremely meticulous and ensures I am well aware of my options. She takes the time to explain and provide sound advice, demonstrating her expertise, her care for patients, and her passion for her work. All of the appointments I have been scheduled to attend have been on time and I never have to wait. The space is clean, hygenic and well-equipped. The booking procedures are simple and the email and phone communications demonstrate proficiency in the business. Everything is neat and organized. The dental hygenists and other dentists I have met are also fabulous. The receptionists are courteous and exhibit great customer service. Kudos on a job well done Toronto Beach Dental! Toronto Beach Dental has been my dental office for the past 5 years. The new location on Queen Street has a beautiful and modern interior design.
The staff has always been friendly and amazing. Even when I had to reschedule appointments, they were always accommodating.
The dental hygienists have been professional and skilled. My latest visit was probably my best cleaning yet (ask for Jessica!).
