My daughter had the opportunity to have her first year of dance with TDI. Unfortunately, we had to move far so we couldn’t continue on with lessons. TDI is an amazing place where all the teachers genuinely cares for their students. They are very well organized and makes the place feel very safe for students. It was a wonderful first year of dance for my daughter and we wished we could stay. Thank you TDI for the amazing first year, my daughter loved it and wishes to continue dancing in our new city.

This place has excellence on different dance classes, from classic ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, modern jazz, contemporary and modern dance.

I was one of Monika's first dance students back in 1988 and she was as professional and as talented then. She would always strive to be tops and believes in her students. I remember my solo classes when I was about 9, she pushed me to be my best and really raised the bar!

Started dancing at TDI back in 1992 and continued to dance there until 2010! When my own daughter was born in 2011, I knew, when she was old enough to dance, exactly where she would go. It's now 2018 and my 7 year old is heading in to her 6th year at TDI and she's as proud of her status as team member as I ever was!
Over the last 26 years I've gotten to witness and be part of the incredible growth at TDI. There are more students, more teachers, more classes, more studios. Many changes over the years, but the one thing that has never changed is the passion that Monika, the director and her family, and other staff have for their students and for dance and their willingness to share it so openly with their students, resulting in a studio that produces not only wonderfully technical dancers and peformers, who can bring back the "hardware" after a competiton and book the professional job, but who also have last memories of fun, friendship and encouragement and many other lessons relevant to dance and to life as a whole. TDI is not just a studio for dancers, it's a home for dancers. My daughter and I are proud to be part of the family. If you're looking for a place to dance, come by and check it out. Welcome "home".

This will be my daughter's 5th year dancing at Toronto Dance Industry. Her 3rd year dancing in the Competitive Program. She has grown so much in the past few years. She has learned so much more then dance. She has learned to cheer on other dancers and be happy for them even if they beat her. She has learned perseverance and that working hard pays off. She has made many great friends along the way. Toronto Dance Industry is full of staff that are knowledgeable and helpful and the fellow parents are amazing. I know that I would never have made it through 2 competitive dance seasons without all of them. It is a friendly and welcoming place to be and we are all the better for being there. I think we all as a family has learned a lot these past few years and look forward to many more. We wouldn't want to be anywhere else!
