Had such a great experience here getting my wisdom teeth removed! Staff was so friendly. Could not recommend this place more!

Amazing clinic and amazing staff. They were so kind and made me feel so comfortable and they were really quick too. Dr. Haissam Kanaan was the best choice ever, I am going to go to him for all my dental needs going forward! He is super friendly and funny and made my whole experience great!

I had the privilege of having Dr. Kaplan as my surgeon. Did an outstanding job, having 3 wisdom teeth removed, my recovery was remarkably fast and relatively painless. The doctor also called and checked in on me multiple times to make sure I was healing well. He clearly cares about his patients and probably works too hard.

The staff was wonderful and everyone did a great job of pretending my jokes were funny. The clinic itself is beautiful, clean and modern. If you have any reluctance or fear of visiting the clinic to have a procedure done, rest easy knowing that Dr. Kaplan and his staff are some of the best in Toronto.

From the moment we entered the clinic, the staff greeted us with warmth and kindness. They understood my father-in-law's apprehension and took the time to alleviate his fears and anxieties. The waiting area was clean, comfortable, and calming, which immediately put him at ease.

Dr. Chang's extensive knowledge and skill as a dental surgeon were evident throughout the entire process. Had 4 wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Ren Chang. It was a horrible experience on sedation day. The nurse did not know how to put an IV in my hand, she missed several times and I was bleeding quite a bit. Also painful. I was bruised black and blue for weeks afterwards. Didn’t see Dr. Chang even once on day of surgery - I’ve never heard of that. Who doesn’t see their patient before they are sedated for surgery, or afterwards to see if they are ok!? Never called or booked me for a post op either. Once they had my money, they couldn’t care less. Terrible

I was treated at this location by Dr. Chang. He is a great surgeon. Listened to my issues and answered all my questions patiently. His staff is very friendly and empathetic as well. Alishah was one of the best staff member who helped in coordination and helped me with insurance related questions. The nurses took care of me after the procedure so well. Dr. Chang called me personally to know how was I doing after the procedure and if I would need any assistance. I feel lucky to be here in this location.

We were referred to Dr. Kaplan by my daughters orthodontist. The procedure was two wisdom teeth needing to be pulled out for my 11 year old. We went for the consultation and our first impression when encountering all the staff was excellent. Everyone greeted us and made us feel welcomed. Dr. Kaplan and his team provided detailed info on the whole procedure. A date was then provided and we went back for the dental surgery a few months later. Danielle and the anesthesiologist provided great comfort to my nervous daughter. The procedure was done and Dr. Kaplan and his team should be commended in their professionalism. Dr. Kaplan also contacted me 24 hours later to make sure she was okay and then I received another check in phone call from another staff member. Lynn also helped clarify insurance completion forms. Overall I highly recommend Dr. Kaplan and his team and I am truly thankful for what they provided my daughter with.

Dr. Kaplan helped me with an extraction due to a cracked tooth that got infected while I was on chemotherapy. It was crucial to eliminate the infection with my compromised immune status and he was able to get me in to his office quickly. He and his staff were caring, thorough and compassionate considering my difficult circumstances. The procedure was successful, and I recovered very quickly in spite of my circumstances. I would recommend his clinic without hesitation.

My son had surgery last week. The experience can be very frightening but Doctor Kaplan and his team went out of their way to make my son feel as comfortable as possible. He personally called after the surgery to see how my son was feeling. Doctor Kaplan is kind, compassionate and caring. I can't say enough good things about him.

Went for a wisdom teeth removal. Was extremely nervous since it was my first time but the assistants and dr Chang made it very easy. Almost felt nothing with the help of the laughing gas. They gave me a bunch of papers on what to do and what not to do after the surgery.
Went for follow up a couple weeks later and everything was great as well.
Absolutely recommend this place. Very professional and caring.

Dr Kaplan and the whole medical team at Toronto East Maxillofacial Surgery were exceptional. Our 10 year old daughter required surgery and we were all quite anxious. They made us feel comfortable and we were very well taken care of. Dr Kaplan was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable and reassuring. I had all four - impacted - wisdom teeth removed by Dr. Kaplan. I have a blood disorder that required careful planning in collaboration with St. Michael’s Hospital’s Haematology Clinic, and the procedure went flawlessly. I cannot thank him and the team enough for such a stress free, and mostly pain free surgery/recovery. They were there to support me every step of the way, and Dr. Kaplan himself went out of his way, on multiple occasions to call and check in on my recovery. Dr Kaplan and the staff were exceptional. From the beginning to the end of the procedure, Dr Kaplan took the time to really explain all the possible scenarios and listened to my concerns before taking a course of action. My 9 year old son had his 2 front baby teeth still and two sets of adult teeth on top which is rare. In total he had 5 teeth removed! Dr Kaplan had excellent bedside manners and looked after my son who was very anxious. He even made a few follow up phone calls after the procedure was done to make sure he was ok. My son’s recovery went better than expected. I highly recommend Dr Kaplan and his team!

Dr. Kaplan was great! I had my wisdom teeth removed by him under general anesthesia, which went very smoothly. Very pleasant, informative and reassuring. Was always there to answer any questions I had and made sure I knew I could call with anything that came up.

This past week I had 3 teeth extracted, a molar, a baby canine and an adult canine. Dr. Adam Kaplan was my surgeon and he made such a good first impression on me during the consultation that when the day of the surgery came about I knew I was in good hands.

Truthfully this was a nerve-racking experience because this was my first surgery, but the doctors and nurses at the office made this experience so much easier for me. That now looking back at it, I was too nervous for the perfect outcome!

Came in very afraid and uneasy but the friendly staff put me at ease fairly quickly. The actual removal of my wisdom teeth went very smoothly and didn't even hurt that bad the few days after. I would reccomend this clinic for anyone who is looking to make this a pleasant experience!

From the wonderful Kyle who came to the ground floor to take me up in the elevator (I'm old and use a walker) then looked after all the record-taking and explanations.and then to the delightful and careful Dr. Adam Kaplan. Dr. Kaplan described what he would be doing and put me completely at ease. The procedure was smooth and painless and I felt the whole staff was there to make my visit easy. They did that beautifully and sent me home knowing their caring extends beyond my visit. Dr. Kaplan, himself, phoned me the next day to check up on my healing. All this PLUS excellent taste in office décor AND even remarkable art.

I was advised to visit Dr. Kaplan’s clinic by my family dentist for my wisdom tooth extraction. Dr. Kaplan and his team took very good care of me during my booking process and on the day of the appointment as well. All the measures were in place for health and safety during this tough Covid period and I didn’t have any concerns whatsoever. The extraction process was very easy and I didn’t feel any pain at all. I was left amazed as Dr. Kaplan personally made not one but two follow up calls to check on my well being after my surgery. I would highly recommend Dr. Kaplan and his team to everyone.

I cannot praise Adam Kaplan too highly, for clear communication, excellent empathy and friendliness as well as superb professional skills. I had no pain whatsoever after the procedure, needing not so much as an aspirin let alone narcotics, and recovered completely despite accidentally all but omitting one of the after-care precautions.
Also, Dr. Kaplan has stayed in touch to make sure recovery continues smoothly; and never with the sense of hurry or self-importance unfortunately commonplace. If you need oral surgery, he is surely the best. - Greg Ragle.

Dr. Adam Kaplan came highly recommended for my wisdom teeth procedure and he did not disappoint. As someone who has anxiety any time I step into a dentist’s office, Dr. Kaplan and his staff eased my concerns about the procedure and made me feel safe throughout the whole process. Dr. Kaplan did a Frenectomy on my child with freezing, without sedation and all went smoothly. Dr. Kaplan was very professional and beyond caring with my son. His recovery was smooth and easy. He even called to follow-up and check how he was feeling. Dr. Kaplan’s staff went to great efforts to make my son feel comfortable and cared for. The procedure was a success with no need for any additional procedures. I have recommended Dr. Kaplan to several of my friends who had only compliments after they were treated by him. I think anyone would be lucky to have Dr. Kapan care for their child. 10/10 experience for me and all my referred friends.

Had an impacted wisdom tooth removed by Dr. Chang. He was very quick and professional along with the staff. Would recommend to anyone with dental issues.

I would give a zero rating if I could. Dr. Kaplan performed a frenectomy on my daughter and was pushing to administer drugs to put her out, or the laughing gas drugs. My daughter was clear that she didn't want the drugs and I had to insist and persuade him not to administer them. The frenectomy was not a success as too little tissue was taken away. I took my daughter elsewhere to get a second frenectomy done correctly so that she could finally get her braces on. Thanks for putting my ten year old daughter through that procedure twice, Dr. Kaplan. The second frenectomy was performed by a much more skilled and friendly doctor. Stay away from Dr. Kaplan.

I was under the care of Dr. Kaplan and his staff at the office. I needed all four wisdom teeth extracted, and it had to be done in a hospital setting due to a pre-existing medical condition. Once my surgery was scheduled, all of my questions and needs were taken care of by the attentive staff members working at the front desk from the dental office. Dr. Kaplan had excellent bedside manner, and was very reassuring going into the procedure. The extraction was so expertly done that I did not even need to fill my pain med prescription as I continue to appreciate a very smooth recovery.

We had an outstanding experience with Dr. Kaplan when he extracted my husband’s wisdom teeth recently. His bedside manner is truly unmatched in the industry along with the level of professionalism and care of his staff. One wisdom tooth was impacted which had been causing my husband a lot of pain and discomfort. As a result, we expected the recovery would take some time but my husband recovered so fast he was requesting non-soft foods the night of the surgery! We were so pleased with our experience - it was really a pleasure working with the team at Toronto East Maxillofacial Surgery.

Let me start by saying that I have a huge phobia of Dentists. Dr. Kaplan and his team did everything possible to destress me. Including putting a cushion under my knees to relieve back pain, a blanket on me to stop me from shivering and a small cushion to use as a stress ball. They talked to me so calmly, reassuring me that the procedure would be painless (which it was). All of this patience and care was done after hours because it was an emergency.
I cannot sing their praises enough. I am so appreciative of them and would 100% recommend their dental services to anyone.
