While this was a while ago, after my experience with Dr. Robert Jones' hair transplant, I feel I need to speak up about the very negative experience. We talked about follow-up care and what to do if things didn't go as planned, but once the procedure was over, it was like I didn't exist. I tried reaching out about the unsatisfactory results, but got no response. It felt like once they got my payment, that was it. I had an overall adequate consultation but experienced poor explanations, what felt to be a rushed procedure, inadequate guidance immediately after, and no (absolutely zero) follow up. For how much one pays for these procedures I’m simply dumbfounded Dr. Jones did not follow up. Really feel let down by the whole experience.

For anyone looking at hair transplants, make sure you get a solid overview of the entire care journey and don’t just take their word for it — see if you can speak with past patients or at least get in writing what they’ll be doing to help you maximize your chances of success. Make sure wherever you go that they have at least a few touch points after the procedure to assess with your practitioner or the facility your recovery, attainment of clinical endpoint (s) and overall satisfaction (or lack thereof) of the surgical outcome.

I am currently just over 7 months post op from my hair transplant with Dr. Alexander at the Toronto Hair Transplant Surgeons.and I could not be happier with the results!

I had my hair transplant on February 16th 2023. I've been taking weekly photos of my hair regrowth and the results are phenomenal!

I had 1425 grafts FUE done to address my receding hairline and the crown. I have been taking oral Finasteride, which was prescribed to me by Dr. Alexander after the hair transplant, and I have been using the 12.5% minoxidil that is sold at the clinic. I also did 3 sessions of PRP after the hair transplant, spread 4 weeks apart. They did a PRP soak of the hair grafts on the day of surgery, so technically I've now had 4 PRP sessions.

I have attached two photos showing the results. The first being taken on March 29th, 2023 and the second on September 20th, 2023. I think the results speak for themself! (Now I just need to dye those greys.lol).

The whole team was so pleasant to deal with. From Clair and Daniella at the front office, Linda and the entire nursing team, and of course Dr. Alexander himself. All were such a joy to go through this journey with. Everyone made me feel at ease throughout the whole process and the day of surgery is long, but you sit back and watch Netflix for the second half of the day (after they get you lunch), so it's really not that bad!

Pain for me was very minimal and the healing went extremely smooth. Maybe I got lucky, but I would do the whole experience with Dr. Alexander and his team in a heartbeat if needed in the future, no questions asked!

I would recommend anyone and everyone to seek out Dr. Alexander and the Toronto Hair Transplant Surgeons for their hair loss needs. This has been a life-changing process and my confidence levels are at an all time high. No more baseball caps for me!

I had a video consultation with Dr. Huber almost 2 months ago and I met with him today in person to discuss my options.

It has been an emotional situation for me dealing with hair loss and trying to have discussions with professionals without having to deal with the commercial aspect of them trying to introduce/impose their commercial products on me, which made me sway away from trying to seek professional help in the past.

I had a free consultation with Dr Huber after going through the consultation process with several other clinics. I found Dr Huber's demeanour bedside manner to be the best of everyone I have spoken to, and the prices and process of the clinic are in line with all the best places I consulted with aside from them.

On the day of my surgery, the staff were very kind and pleasant, kept me informed of all the steps that were going to take place, ordered my choice of lunch, and finalized my the pattern we had chosen for my transplant. The process was 9 or so hours, with all the staff who did the surgical work being again very pleasant and enjoyable to talk to. I listened to music, podcasts, and was allowed a break for lunch during the process. At the end, I was given a bag of aftercare supplies which have proven to be very helpful in my recovery, as well as going over the aftercare instructions I had been sent prior to make sure I understood.

My recovery has been relatively painless, and more importantly, matches with the recovery process that was described to me by the staff, so I feel confident that all is going well. I have also been getting automated texts to help me keep up with the aftercare (easily cancellable, but I find them helpful). It's been 10 days since my procedure and I'm feeling happy with the initial look of my new hairline and the pace of recovery.

Strongly recommend coming here, and I will be updating this review with photos once my hair starts growing in properly.

I have just completed my second FUE Hair Transplant here and cannot recommend them enough. It's not just Dr Jones and his colleagues, it's the full team here who make the whole experience actually enjoyable. My results were incredible first time and the second time is to touch up some areas that needed attention 7 years later. I recently had the FUE procedure conducted at the the Toronto Hair Transplant Centre. It was a great experience and Dr. Alexander and the staff at the clinic were nothing short of excellent.

From the time I had my first virtual consultation with Dr. Alexander to the day of the procedure I found all the staff quite helpful and informative. Dr. Alexander was there to answer all of my questions and concerns relating to the procedure and provided great insight into surgical and non surgical treatments for hair loss.

On the day of my procedure, I found the clinic was incredibly sanitary and the staff very welcoming. It has been about a week after my procedure where I had 2200 follicles removed and transplanted. My recovery has been non eventful, I was able to drive home the next day and had only slight discomfort for first few days. On the fourth day there was some mild bruising around my eyes, but I have been able to follow the instructions for post procedure without concern or incident.

Thank to all the staff at THTC, Daniella, Clair, Linda and Dr. Alexander for all the incredible work and followup.

I had 2600 graph FUE procedure done about a year ago and couldn't be happier with the results. Dr Huber and his team did an excellent job. The day of the surgery is a long day but the pay off is worth it.
Make sure you follow the post surgery instructions exactly.
Within 5 months the transplanted hair was filling in nicely (but be aware it does initially fall out after 3 weeks or so).
The procedure is not cheap but like anything, you get what you pay for.

I was unable to proceed with the procedure due to personal and professional circumstances, but I wanted to share my personal experience with Dr. Huber. From the start, I felt that he cares about me on a personal level. I never felt rushed, shafted, or ignored, and I received a level of compassion that was distinct from other clinics. I had been rejected by two clinics and had booked an appointment with another clinic, but they told me my hair was not suitable for transplantation. With the other clinics, I dealt with consultants initially, but with the Toronto Hair Transplant Centre, I dealt directly with Dr. Huber. When I told Dr. Huber that my hair was not suitable, he did not minimize my concern. He was confident but wanted to be sure, so he delayed the procedure, asked me to shave my head, send photos, and wait another three weeks to send more photos. I will consider Dr. Huber again in the future, but I wanted to share my experience. If you're looking for a doctor who cares deeply about his patients and is not just looking for a sale, then look no further than Dr. Huber.

I got a hair transplant 8 months ago by Dr. Huber for 1800 grafts. It took about 5 6 months for my results to grow in but it was all worth it. Dr. Huber didn't just do the transplant but we worked together to keep the rest of my hair from getting bald! Thanks again!

I had an incredible experience with the hair transplant team. Everyone from reception, to nursing to the doctors were great. Dr. Alexander and Dr Jones both walked me through the procedure, asked what my thoughts were and we collaborated on a plan. They answered all of my questions confidently. They provided detailed explanations of the procedure and after care. The procedure itself was painless. Plenty of breaks were offered and lunch was provided. They also had Netflix available if you didnt have your phone available. What also separates this clinic from others is they create their own topical compound of minoxidil/finesteride/latisse. This is far more effective for hair growth and hair maintenance than over the counter minoxidil. If you're thinking about getting a hair transplant I wouldnt look any further than the Toronto Hair Transplant Center.

Hi I liked to share my second hair transplant experience with Dr. Robert Jones which was seamlessly great from start to finish his staff very helpful and knowledgeable nothing but the best.

Don’t go to this piece of ****. Robert jones is nothing but a low life scammer. Once he gets your money, he doesn’t care what he does to your hair. He’s ruined my hair and head for the REST OF MY LIFE. Even changed the operation that I originally went in for last second. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Robert jones needs his license taken away and to be sued, please don’t be fooled by his fake reviews.

Extremely professional. I've had 2 procedures done at this clinic and have been a happy patient both times. I highly recommend Dr. Jones and his team.

I had a 2000-graft transplant surgery with PRP soak treatment. The staffs are friendly and professional and treat patient with respect during the surgery. COVID protocol was taken seriously. After the procedure, office and doctor's contact info and post-surgery instructions were also provided. There's also a follow-up call next day to check patient's conditions and for Q&A. I highly recommended Dr. Jones' service.

I had my FUE done a few hours ago, I was able to drive myself home and feeling great! Everything was explained to me in greatest detail and every small question was answered. Dr Jones and his team are very professional and you feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. I have absolutely no pain post surgery and feeling well. Update: November 17th, 2020: it’s been 5 month since my procedure, results are amazing, I couldn’t be happier!
it is not a cheap procedure, but it worth every dollar at the end. Many people tell me how amazing it looks and I feel more confident than ever. My friends want to go ahead and do the same procedure now.

Advice to everyone reading this review: be patient after your procedure, it takes time to see real results after the transplant is done (5 months in my case), which is absolutely normal. Thank you very much Dr. Jones!

Please avoid this place.much better options in the GTA. To start, I went in there asking for one small procedure for my issue, and they went ahead and suggested something else for my issue. So I went ahead with it as I assumed they know best. After the procedure, I was left with the same problem I came in with, nothing was fixed! And to make matters worse, I only went for a minor procedure, but after Dr. Jones's terrible work, the rest of my hair which was actually fine and great, was actually worse than when I came in! Never had my original problem fixed, and actually made the rest of my hair bad as well, from they way my hairs grow out now and the direction etc! Barbers are even having a hard time cutting my hair due to his terrible work. Called the front desk weeks after and she said "that's just how it is". Terrible. To recap, I have the same issue that I originally had gone there with to fix, and worse, the rest of my hair is now also ruined for the rest of my life. Surgery is done and healed so its not reversible, they will respond to my review saying I should contact them, but that's just to make it look like they attempted to help me, but there isn't anything that can be done! Biggest regret of my life is coming to this place, I should have gone to any other place in the GTA. This placed ruined my hair FOREVER! Please don't make the same mistake I did. Please don't hesitate to contact me for evidence, I will gladly provide. This place should be shut down, I don't know how they got any of their licenses.

I just went through a FUE procedure yesterday. The staff were all excellent and the office was friendly. It was a challenging experience but the professionalism of everyone put me at ease and helped me through the day.

Dr. Huber is professional, skilled, knowledgeable, and kind. My experience with him was nothing short of fantastic. I checked out him and another facility. He was always accessible for questions. There was a massive price difference between the two, even though they had come up with similar plans. Dr. Huber also had that personal touch with quick email correspondence (he also offered text though I didn't use it). The day of my 2000 FUE graft, the staff was very upbeat and professional. They took care of me in a way where I felt I had nothing to worry about. The whole team has a great dynamic. Everything went smoothly. I had follow-up phone calls and emails from the centre and from Dr. Huber just to make sure I was doing okay and answer any questions, multiple times in the ensuing weeks. I'm extremely satisfied. I should also add that I am a physician as well, and explored Dr. Huber's knowledge in this field - I came away fully confident that he really knows what he's doing and takes pride in the quality of his work.

I was scheduled to have a 3000 graft FUE with an Ottawa well-known surgeon on Oct 3rd 2018. Unfortunately, he was not the one that analyzed my hair texture and donor area prior to the surgery. Everything was done by one of his consultants and I didn't see the surgeon until the day before the surgery. When I finally met him, he was very rude and he told me that he could only harvest 1100 grafts and that my donor area was very bad. He told me there was nothing to do and recommended me to cancel everything and just accept the fact that I would become bald in a couple of years. I was completely shocked and in panic mode. I cancelled the surgery (he only gave me back 50% of my 1500$ deposit), and called Dr Jones clinic in Oakville. I managed to get a quick appointment for a consultation and I flew there early the next day.
Dr. Jones and his team welcomed me with open arms. Since my donor area was not very good, Dr Jones suggested a 3000 grafts FUT and was very confident that he could give me back a full head of hair. He even offered me to have the surgery the next day! The clinic was supposed to be closed that day and he was fully booked for the next 4 months.
I slept in Oakville and underwent a 3000 graft FUT + PRP the next day (October 4th 2018). He opened the clinic for me and brought his team for a 7 hour procedure! I am now at 6.5 months post-op and the results are already AMAZING and natural! The final results will be visible after 12 months. The scar is barely visible! I am not the same and my confidence came back! It was so hard to lose my hair at such a young age (27 years old) Dr. Jones changed my life! I can't wait to go see him for another surgery for the crown area. I recommend him to everyone who is balding. Don't hesitate! It is a life changing procedure and Dr Jones is the best at what he does!

The results of my 1st procedure are AMAZING! My hairline looks so natural. I just went back for a second procedure for the crown area on Sep 10th 2019. I am very confident that the results of this 2nd procedure will be as amazing as the first one. Dr Jones is the best! World-class surgeon. He also has a lovely team that works with him. There is no reason to go anywhere else.

I always grew up with a thick, full head of hair. Almost 40 now, I started seeing a noticeable difference in the appearance of my hair within the past 2-3 years. Slowly losing some confidence, I stsrted looking for alternative hair growth solutions. I tried everything that came in bottles and experimented with different hair styles to cover the bald spots; nothing worked.

After doing months of research and speaking to a few hair professionals in the city, I decided that it was time to move forward with my hair loss procedure. I spoke to many professionals in the industry and read hundreds of reviews. I decided it was best to partner with Dr. Huber and Dr. Jones. Dr. Huber conducted my 3000 graft FUE procedure back in September 2018. The procedure was long but, worth every minute. Dr. Huber and the team of nurses were easy to talk to, answered all my questions, and always made my comfort their priority. I appreciate the time Dr. Huber took to map out and explain the entire process with me from begin to end. The nurses were all equally as efficient as they were comforting. Overall, the experience was great.again, expect to be there for a while, but in the hands of Dr. Huber and his team, it's worth every minute!

It's almost been a year now, and I feel way more confident than I was pre surgery. Dr. Huber was able to give me back my confidence, but more importantly, he gave me back my freedom of choice. I now can choose how to style my hair, choose how to cut my hair, and choose when to wear hats when I don't want to do either of the above!

My advice for anyone looking into proceeding with this surgery, is to do your research. Everyone is built differently and have different genetics, so you should expect your results to vary. Dr. Huber will tailor a strategy that works best for you and your expectations. You can't choose how or when your hair falls out, but you can choose who puts it back in. Dr. Huber is the best!

I had my cosult with Dr. Jones in March/2019 and my surgery with Dr. Huber on April 2nd/2019. I am very pleased with the results also with the entire experience. The clinic is like a hospital setting with great doctors also great nurses, total professionals.

I can tell you only about my experience. I was promised more coverage then I got, the hairs in my crown are not growing, his workers were just mostly talking the time. When I spoke with him he was more concerned about getting more money out of me then making me happy. Don't rely only on reviews.
