I recently visit Toronto Ink for the first time for a tattoo with Mikey (Michel)!

I've been putting off finding a new artist for awhile because I've had past experiences where the artist is talented, but not friendly in the slightest.making for a super awkward experience.

Mikey is not only super sweet, but he's super professional and patient. I love my new tattoo and will definitely be coming back!

Fabulous 1st time experience. Very nervous about getting my 1st tattoo but they made me fell very comfortable with a safe and clean environment. Thank you Mikey and Becca. Very impressed. Love my Shamrock.

What a great experience. This was my second tattoo done by Mark, the owner, and I cannot say enough good things about it. He kept me at ease the whole time, knowing I was very nervous. He gave me as many breaks as I needed and was responsive to my pain tolerance. He does excellent and efficient work. The tattoo shop is clean and the other artists are very friendly. I would recommend Toronto ink to anyone looking for a wonderful experience.

I just got my very first tattoo done by Ben at Toronto Ink, and it was an absolutely incredible experience. All of the artists were incredibly kind and friendly, the shop was spotless, and Ben always checked in on me to let me know what we were doing every step of the way. My tattoo is absolutely beautiful and super clean; I love it! Please please please book a tattoo here, you won't regret it!

I have been going Mark Prata for years, I wouldn’t trust anyone else besides him to tattoo me, My last tattoo he took his time to design the letter for my daughters name, he made sure the spelling was correct and and when he placed the stencil he made sure I was good with the position and location of the piece. I couldn’t be any happier with the results of my tat. I will be definitely going back for a lot more work to be done by Mark.

I went there for a back piece that was done by Benny Mac (@bennymac_tattoos) and I couldn’t be happier! We chatted about the idea that was in my mind and he was completely open about what he thought would work and what wouldn’t. Once we got right into it, I don’t know if it was the type of machine he was using or his technique, but believe it or not, it actually didn’t hurt as much as I had expected! In the end, I got a GREAT tattoo that I’m constantly getting compliments for and can’t say enough about Ben and Toronto Ink!

Toronto ink is the best tattoos shop ever, I had my tattoos with the artist name Larry he did a great job with my tattoos everyone’s love’s it and asking me where I got from, all the stuff are so friendly and the shop it so clean, I highly recommend it.

My wife and I got matching tattoos (a very simple north star) on Aug 17. It was my very first one so I was pretty excited. Unfortunately, both our tattoos did not look like the photo we sent to the artist. Our tattoos do not even match! Also lines weren't clean, the "rays" do not even line up to form a circle since they weren't spaced evenly! They look like it wasn't done by a professional, just not very pleasant to look at! So, the next day, we direct messaged the owner via his Instagram to let him know about our negative experience. No reply. 2 days later, we followed up with another message on Facebook. Again, no reply. At this point, we were annoyed already but we thought with the Covid situation, ok, perhaps he was busy catching up with stuff. Finally, one week after our first IM, there was a message from the owner. But to our dismay, it was a generic reply asking us to tell him about our background, who we are, what tattoo we'd like to get plus a link where we can describe we want to get done in detail etc.etc! Obviously, this was meant for a new customer and it also made it clear that our message wasn't read at all. Ugh! So frustrating. Lack of customer service, totally unprofessional and just unacceptable! This whole experience has really left a bad taste in my mouth that this will probably be my first and last tattoo. Won't be recommending this place to anyone at all!

I got both of my tattoos done by Miranda;
First tattoo: 0/10 experience; couldn't eat for 3 days because I stared at it all day. I couldn't do anything else. /j

Second tattoo: 0/10 no return policy. /j

Jokes aside. Everyone I met there were super chill. For my first tattoo I had pretty bad anxiety, (due to lack of experience and generalized anxiety disorder) ; but they ensured me, and made me comfortable.

Miranda is super friendly, and her work of art is nothing short of elegance.

Benny, who I havnt had the chance to work with [yet] is also super friendly and chill; And nothing short of professional.

Just had my first tattoo in Canada. 100% satisfied. Customer service was very nice, from front desk to artist, actually everybody there. Thank you Larry.

My partner and I went in for the shop’s matching tattoo special in February. We were booked with Miranda, and told she would do “an amazing job with these”, small crescent moon tattoos on our fingers. The shop was pretty hectic, we waited roughly 20-30 minutes for our artist as she answered phones and moved around appointments for other artists and clients. During my tattoo, I felt pretty uncomfortable with the artist, as she was shaky and did not seem comfortable tattooing hands (moving around a lot to try and find an angle to be able to tattoo at). This was my first hand tattoo so I wasn’t sure if that was normal or not, however the quality of the tattoo tells me it is not. My lines do not match up at all, none of them are clean, the stencil was not followed, and now I am left with a horrible tattoo on my finger. My partner, who’s tattoo is in worse shape, as it’s bled out from poor application, contacted the owner and notified him of our dissatisfaction. He professionally replied, offering to fix the tattoos himself. He also replied to her review, saying that steps have been taken in the shop to prevent things like this happening in the future. We have declined the offer, as we do not feel comfortable getting tattooed here ever again. I am also extremely disappointed, that two days after our complaints, the artist is posting pictures on her instagram, taken by the owner, of her tattooing more hands. 0/10, would never recommend.and yes. When you mess up two different peoples’ tattoos, both people are entitled to leaving a review and stating their issues.

My partner and I went for matching tattoos here. We had to wait about 20mins for our appointment since our artist was dealing with chaos at the front counter and taking phone calls. The artist was nice, but seemed nervous and her hands were extremely shaky when she was tattooing. Both of our tattoos need serious touch-ups. She kept saying "You can always come for a free touch-up, " knowing that they would need them. Would not recommend. The line-work is horrible. It is just a small tattoo, but she needed to be guided through the process. If artists don't feel comfortable doing small tattoos, they should NOT be booked them.

I had my tattoo done by Miranda in November 2019. She was fantastic at comforting my anxiety. She is gentle and completed my tattoo quickly. She was extremely patient with me to perfect the placement and movement I requested in my tattoo. I showed her a picture of the tat i wanted and she replicated it perfectly. Thank you for an awesome experience. The receptionist is also very welcoming and friendly.

Made an appointment for a consult with one of the artists, she booked me in for a Tuesday at 630pm. When I got there, the place was closed. When I contacted her about it, she claimed the manager never added me in the schedule. She rescheduled me in for the following Saturday at noon. The Friday before my appt, I noticed on Instagram that the shop would be closed for the long weekend. I emailed her that night, she responded the next day around 10am, saying she forgot about the closure.
For a shop that’s highly rated, I found this unbelievably unprofessional! Couldn’t believe it! Been spreading the story to everyone that I know! Disappointing!

Sarah Johnson is who I picked to cover up my old tattoos. Let me tell you she did the best job ever. I get compliments all the time. The price was great to. Personality I would rather take my time looking into the artist I pick by asking them questions and looking at their recent work Sarah Johnson did that and more. I so recommend this place she will be my tattoo artist for now on

I had a wonderful experience from start to finish with the staff at Toronto Ink. During the consultation, I found the studio very clean and Mark took time to explain each part of the process. I was blown away by the attention to detail in the sketch, and when I wanted to make a few changes, Mark didn't hesitate to modify his work to make me happier. He spent 6 solid hours on my tattoo and I left feeling stoked! I'll definitely come back for any future tattoos and will recommend them to friends and family.

This shop is hands down my favourite in the area. Everything is very clean, staff is professional and so friendly! I came to Mark for a very important piece on my thigh and he did the most beautiful job and I couldn't be happier. I'm not even from Toronto or GTA but this guy and shop are worth the trek. Thank you again so so much Mark and team, I appreciate all your work!

My first time at Toronto Ink was yesterday at 1p.m. And I found myself back less than 24 hours later. I've finally found the artist I want to do all of my future tattoos. Miranda has a very light touch and incredible ideas. I cant recommend her enough, especially when you know what you want, but have trouble picturing it. The shop was very clean, had great music, and very friendly atmosphere and staff.

On my third tattoo I had the pleasure of having Miranda do it for me. I am not the strongest person but Miranda had a gentle touch and is very patient. I cant recommend her enough. Will be back for sure!

Toronto ink has great artist but their price range is unbelievably expensive. I was charged almost $300 for two small writings and that's not right. I would not recommend this place for that kind of price.

Went there during their Halloween flash sale and got my very first tattoo. The place was super clean and professional. I had the honor of having Sarah as my first tattoo artist and she did a fantastic job. She was so quick and efficient and was super helpful with the placement and colour choices. I did not expect to have such a great time for my first tattoo. Thank you so much for such a great experience.

Really great tattoo shop! It's clean, everyone is friendly, and they do great work. I saw Chad for a flash piece and can't wait to see him again, and be tattooed by the rest of the team there.
