I’ve been to ALOT of dentist throughout the city & I can easily say this dentist is hands down the BEST place I have been too! Not only are they super friendly and overly accommodating, their work is absolutely amazing and they really know what they’re doing there. I have never left there unhappy, I walk out that door everytime with a smile ear to ear showing off my pearly whites!

I would be cautious when dealing with this clinic. I had some concerning experiences and would like others to be aware. If you do opt to use this clinic, please keep copies of everything, verify the work, and make sure they disclose fees before any work is done. I hope this helps someone:)

I usually dread going to get my teeth cleaned. The dental hygienist Jin I had today was very gentle on my teeth and gums - made a huge difference in my overall experience! Everyone is friendly. Service is prompt.

Everyone is friendly, make you feel welcome and most importantly they are really good at what they do. They make a thorough analysis, guide you through every step and everything they do to your teeth is extremely well done. I found this practice through OpenCare and was pleasantly surprised with how close it was to my house. My first visit there was absolutely amazing! The place was so clean, the staff were organized and friendly, and the assessment was thorough. Above all, the hygienist was so gentle- the most pleasant experience I have ever had at the dentist, I was so happy.

I had two cavities on either side so I had to have two appointments to get them filled (since they numb each side).
The first cavity appointment was okay. I had some tools dropped on me, was lightly hit by the tubes. A couple of little things like that here and there but overall the appointment was okay. Staff weren't as engaged or attentive but it's a pretty routine procedure.

The second cavity appointment.was a nightmare. First, it felt like the staff working on my teeth were rushing, to the point where it felt like all care went out the window. Little engagement and just grabbing and passing things franticly. Second, this was probably the most painful appointment I've had in my life. I was lightly stabbed with a few tools, they stretch my mouth without any remorse, the dentist was resting her pinky on my lip (where it rested on top of my teeth) so her nail was digging into my lip, they kept taking the tools out of my mouth in a way that would not only further stretch my lips but also scrape my lip, knocked with tools again, and just in general being really rough. I was lying there thinking.what happened? They were so amazing and gentle the first time! Even with extra numbing, it was such a painful and rough experience. I left feeling really frustrated and disappointed. I had hoped (and thought) I found my new family dentist but after this appointment, I won't be going back.

Have been coming to Toronto Lakeshore Dental for a couple years now and it always a good experience (as much as visit to the dentist can be haha) they are always polite, on time and all around a good experience with a welcoming environment. One of my favourite things about them is the tv on the ceiling, you get to choose anything on Netflix and lay back as they clean your teeth and the kind staff. Also they work with insurance and do their best to have everything taken care of prior to your arrival. 10/10 Recommend.

Very nice staff both behind the desk and at work on your teeth! Such a modern office. As someone from a small town, going to this office was definitely a culture shock. Overall a great experience. I plan on going back regularly!

I initially had a bad experience with this place because one of the hygienists really tried to oversell me every possible treatment. Once I spoke with someone to make a treatment plan they admitted a lot of the treatments (wisdom teeth removal, Invisalign, gum graft) the hygienist had mentioned weren’t really necessary. I then had several cavities filled and had the best experience. The dentist and her assistant were so efficient and my teeth felt great afterwards. I would highly recommend but just push back if you feel you are being oversold, then you will have a great experience!

Not a huge fan of going to the dentist but Toronto Lakeshore Dental made the experience as good as possible. They're very thorough and efficient.

It was a great experience as usual. My hygienist was very personable and kept me up to speed throughout my short and relaxing visit.

Be careful about time, cost and upselling. I am almost 50 years old and tried Toronto Lakeshore Dental as a new patient, after spending the last 20+ years with another dentist downtown, going every 6 months. After 2 hours and a lot of "necessary"' xrays and images (even though my other recent xrays were sent over and I am no longer on insurance), I left the office with a $450 bill, my teeth only half cleaned, and recommendations to do a bunch of work that my former dentist thought was not yet necessary. I will be seeking a second opinion.

Very nice courteous staff! Only complaint is that they don't print out your receipt- they tell you they will email and then you need to request they send it to you a few days later

We had the best experience here! My daughter is 2 and a half and it was her first visit. Jing, the hygienist was so fantastic at making the whole experience fun and exciting- her tools were magic and tickled! Plus she got to watch Paw Patrol. My daughter loved it! I really appreciate the extra effort put in to making her first dentist experience a great one!

Can't say enough good things about this place. The girls who work at the front desk are always friendly. They helped me make claims with my insurance, there is never a problem. The dentists are all professional and patient. I would recommend it to anyone.

So first visit to Toronto Lakeshore Dental today. Called in am and was given appointment this afternoon. Jane my hygienist was great very gentle and keep me informed of everything she was doing. Dr. Moore was wonderful she also explained everything she was doing and what was needed for future appointments. The clinic was clean and inviting with the most up to date dental technology. The front desk girls were friendly and the office manager Vanessa helped me schedule future visits and explained all the billing in detail. I can honestly say this is the best dental experience I’ve had in my 43 years. Highly recommend this office for all your dental needs. Bonus that it is a 1 minute walk from my front door.

To say Toronto Lakeshore Dental was amazing would be a monumental understatement! I recently had to have a tooth pulled and I must say the experience does NOT match the idiom. My Beer Mole and I were extremely "enamelled" with whole affair!

I was getting dental work done here and I was very happy with the service and all of the staff. I recently moved back to BC so wanted to continue with the work that I was told needed to be done, only to be told by my new dentist that my teeth were healthy and I infact I didn’t need any fillings to be done. Toronto lakeshore dental had me lined up for thousands of dollars worth of fillings that MUST be done before they could fix the actual issue I was having with my teeth. It’s left me wondering if I needed to spend the $2000 I already did there at all. I think I got out just in time as I would’ve been going through with all that unnecessary work out of my own pocket! I would definitely recommend getting a second opinion as either these guys are incompetent or just out to get your money, as people have no option but to trust in their ‘medical professionals’. I’m glad the cavities that I was told were so severe, actually don’t exist. Other than that it’s a nice building full of crooks.

Overall great staff. The dentists are caring and professional. I attended the office for the first time in pain and they fit me in for emergency treatment. My diagnosis and treatment was efficient, professional and caring. I could not have asked for better service.

As someone growing up with bad experiences at the dentist I thought it was something that I would always fear. I came here and from the minute you walk in the receptionists make you feel welcome. The doctors and hygienists make you feel comfortable & even with all the work I needed done from putting it off because of my fears, I was never in any pain! Toronto Lakeshore Dental, is a dental practice is a place where you can get top dental service. Pleasant ambience, very pleasant and friendly staff, and in this time of Covid pandemic under protective masks you can see a wide smile. And finally Toronto Lakeshore Dental is a place where you can also get a daily dose of the happiness hormone serotonin, and feel much better when you leave this place.

Since I have a fear of Dentists and get anxiety it's the most comfortable I have felt in a long time at a Dental Office. Their explanations were easy to understand regarding my teeth.

I am a person with extremely nervous when it comes to health services. I was so nervous about my first appointment at Toronto Lakeshore Dental, but it turned out amazing. They calmed me down very well, provided me with amazing service. The receptionist is informative, willing to give you the most suitable schedule and keeps all patience’s information on file. They are also very clear in terms of costs; they will give you a detailed estimate of costs for all your problems. They take care of insurance claims as well, they will let you know if you are out of pocket so you can get prepared in advance. Dentists and hygienists are wonderful, they are skillful and very gentle with patience. They explain everything, answer any question, and inform you of everything you need to know. They have changed my impression of dentistry. I have become their patience for more than a year with multiple appointments and no intention of switching.
