Good collection of books, always well maintained, neat and clean, the staff is a delight.they are so helpful and friendly. The tpl website is very effective to place holds and this location always does a great job to make it super easy to locate the holds. Library visits are very much looked forward to!

Nice local public library for children and adults. I think you can walk in and read books inside without registration which is very convenient. For registration you need a photo ID and a document showing your address.

The library itself is great; plenty of comfortable seating with outlets and a great teens section with booths. However it can be loud at times due to both children and adult guests, which I never see staff do anything about. Theres also no gender neutral or family bathroom to be found, which is a shocking for such a large library and a significant negative for me as a GNC and disabled person.

Quite, comfortable, clean and friendly staff. If you need the cozy seats you need to be early.

It has most of the community literacy needs you can expect from a library. From toddlers to students, audio equipment, audiobooks, computers and how to classes you'll find a lot more when you visit.

Very quick registration process and the best thing is you can access all services immediately. The staff here was extremely helpful and prompt. Great place to sit and research in peace away from distractions.

Each visit @ this library I've found helpful, friendly staff. It seems there R more kids than some libraries.
Some may complain of noise frm kids but at this time in our city & our world we all need to know how to learn. Even without internet as well as with. Recommended

Librarian was helpful in checking my books and and finding books for me. Wish this library was larger.

Very accessible hours and big open space. There are quite a few places to study, some with outlets and large tables on the first floor which is nice! There is a second floor I believe but as of March 2022 it seems to be blocked off.

It's a nice branch. The staff are helpful and they know what they're doing. Nice selection, I just wish they had more SciFi!

This is the loudest library in the GTA! They have great study areas with big comfortable seating and large desks, but there is always someone yapping on their phone or a bunch of people at the front making a ton of noise and none of the staff ever doing anything about it. As a student studying I have to blare music in my headphones in order to concentrate. It's incredibly frustrating and since Mount Pleasant branch is closed, there's no other option than to study at this location. I wish they would make a better effort to provide a peaceful and quiet atmosphere like every other public library does.

Decent wifi connection. Everyone has to wear mask at all times. It's nice and quiet as a library should be but sometimes, some inconsiderate people chats loudly and talk on their phone so loud. Some desks are a bit filthy. So I suggest you also bring wipes/lysol with you.

I visited this library for the first time and I know that this is going to be my all time hangout place. The staff is super helpful!

I would love for the branch manager to figure out which staff member completely dismissed my colleague, completely refusing to help her, due to a language barrier.

Come on — it's the 2020s in Toronto. Being told 'I don't understand you, so I can't help you' in this city is insulting. I'm sure that if that staff member had asked around to find someone who speaks either French, Spanish, or German she would have landed on someone who could have translated for my colleague.

Very accessible for people with mobility issues.
A bit old but functional.
The only "issue" is that it is not easy to find nearby street parking.
They now operate with a COVID protocol.

Very noisy. Kids running around. Staff talks loudly at the reception area. Second level is closed due to COVID-19 restrictions. Quite dark and a lot of echo. I was only allowed to reserve a computer for max 1 hour and I was unable to reserve a longer timeframe. I won't be back.

To anyone who is looking to apply for their youth group, it's closed as a head's up. Their website says otherwise, my advice to the TPL is that any schedule changes should be changed as soon as possible on the website. I don't have anything against them as a public institution, but this is very unprofessional advertising.

Went to use computer & printer, am senior in late 70s, found it a bit challenging & confusing. Staff member was very helpful & patient. She even walked up later to ask if I got all my printouts etc, very pleased & thankfully.

The staff are not very helpful and supportive. It seems that they do not want to help you. Poor knowledge of the general procedures. I feel like not returnig there.

A good library and not busy nowadays. I had to take urgent prints.they helped me beyond their timing and solved my problem. Thumbs up staff

Obnoxiously loud, and the people here obviously didn't want to be librarians, so they are quite rude to people who aren't teens in the teen section. Hopefully, Doug Ford takes down this sorry sham of a library.

Great space and comfortable seating
except for that one dude who always comes here to watch some not so appropriate stuff

I've come here often to study and was sitting in the area that is RESERVED for teen (age 13-24) from September to June with no problem most days. Today I was asked to leave the area because I'm not a teen even though the area has many empty seats while other tables that are not reserved for teen are filled. What more upsetting was the librarian who was walking around asking for people's ID, stopped asking once she figured out I was the one not ALLOWED to sit there.

It's a reserved area for teen, not a forbidden area for everybody else who wants to use the public library, especially when it's a busy time of the day and the teen area is the only area with empty reserved seats no other else can use. Does it make sense to you?

I found the library very cozy and roomy. The staff are really nice and considerate. The library is divided into nice useable sections that can be utilized for different activities. The parking might be a little bit problematic but the its proximity to subway transit make it really continent.:)

Spacious place.
But screaming kids and no one cares about it.
People who listen to loud music without headphones.

It’s a library.not your place.

Such a big library and its location is awesome for those going to school or institutions close to this place. Stuff are good in it so that this palce can be your next station to study or rest.

I love this branch It offers many services for the community, and remains an intriguing library for the community with a good collection and dependable staff.

Loud talking and children misbehaving.
To many people are eating food.
Wonderfully helpful staff

This place is not a library. The place is so loud, either by children SCREAMING with absent nanny’s or by random people SNORING loudly. They have a silent room for studying but get this, between the hours of 9: 30-12: 30 and 1: 30 -5pm, it is turned into a playroom for children. I got so frustrated about how loud it is in there, that I went to the nearby Starbucks where it is A LOT quieter. A library is meant as a place to study or read in silence, not a place for infants to scream, cry and disturb people trying to study. It is insane that they transform the quite room (the only place to study with minimal noise) into a playground.

Disgusting. I am a resident of the community and now I have to drive to the reference library to study.

Lots of single seat chairs; pretty big place. But they always have children’s programs going on during the day with kids and babies crying very loud.

This facility is a rowdy day care center and NOT a library. I tried to go there during the weekdays and it is unbelievable - they hold children and toddler events basically all day so you have crying children, misbehaving children running around and knocking over books, children disrupting you and poking you as you are studying.

If you have young children and want a place they can run around in then this is the place for you. If you want a library where you can read or study then you better stay very far away from this place.

Management - please stop calling this place a library and call it what it is - a day care center with books.
